Cottage holiday rentals in Duck

The place was perfect. Very well stocked and pet friendly. We saw horses daily by the rental. Very easy access to the beach. Only thing it needs is a sign out by the entrance of the driveway with house #. We came in at night during a storm and it took us a few minutes to find the drive. I definitely recommend.

This place was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy Memorial Day weekend with friends! Clean, clutter free, and the hot tub was awesome for an early morning soak or late night kick back. About a 15 minute walk from the beach and located in a quiet neighborhood. Also, very short 1-minute drive to large grocery stores. The hosts were communicative and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if visiting OBX.

Our family had the best time at Easy Breezy. Alex had thought of everything when it comes to a vacation home and I can't even put into words how peaceful it was. We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished , napped, sun bathed on the dock and enjoyed the hot tub which was an amazing perk. We caught 6 crabs and some ocean perch. This place had everything you could want and we didn't want to leave. It was by far the best rental we have ever stayed at. Our dogs even had a blast!

This place has it all! Nicely placed so it’s a quick 3-5 min walk to the downtown area and a quick 5 min walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. Absolutely no worries about cleanliness. The house itself has so much and is an oasis to hang at away from the beach. We had two perfect beach days and one rainy day. Usually we’d go stir crazy on a rainy day and hunt for something to do, but the pool, hot tub and house kept us entertained. Only regret is we didn’t book a longer stay, but next time we will! We had an excellent stay as a group of 8 adults. The home offered great access to a semi-private beach, just a short 5-minute walk away. Kendra was proactive and clear with her instructions, making check-in and our overall experience smooth and stress-free. The neighborhood was very quiet, providing a relaxing atmosphere, yet still conveniently located with shops just a short drive away. After long days at the beach, the hot tub was a refreshing bonus. This home is perfect for both families and adult groups—highly recommended!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The patio is incredible, it goes up above the roof where you can see the ocean. The walk to the beach is short, but you do either have to use stairs or go up a steep hill to access it. That was fine for us, but could see it being a challenge for the less able bodied. The surrounding neighborhood is cute and is very quiet which we appreciated, and is nearby to a lot of great restaurants. It’s not very walkable but very quick drive to anything you need. Only negative was we thought there would be bikes but there weren’t any (as far as we could find) but that was ok, we still had a great time! We would definitely stay again.

We had such an amazing time here! She was quick to respond and the place was beautiful! The backyard was perfect for our toddler to play in and I really appreciated that there was a baby gate for upstairs. We will definitely be coming back!

So glad this listing was available definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to find a home so accommodating to the fur babies. I was floored walking into a clean home fully stocked with all the amenities plus. It was like staying in a hotel with the feeling of being at home. Hands down the best beach stay ever totally recommend and hopefully I get that chance to visit again.

We really enjoyed staying at Chad’s place. It was very clean and comfortable and we felt like we were in a tree house with all the beautiful trees outside the windows. We loved the porches and the close proximity to restaurants and the beach. Chad was very friendly and responsive. We definitely will be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay! The description was accurate and Danielle provided everything that we needed for our trip to go easy. She communicates so well and the house is beautiful with an easy walk to the beach.

This cottage was SO cute. It is in a good location with a very short walk across the street. The street is not super busy because it’s not the main busy road going through town. The cottage was clean, comfortable beds, shower amenities provided and even coffee pods. Sarah was SO nice and responsive to questions we had. We would stay here again.

This is my second time staying at one of Michaela’s properties & we will plan to again! She is an excellent host who puts so much care in to every detail. Just when you think you may have forgotten something handy, she already has it stocked for you to make things easy (beach gear, chip bag clips, ziplocks… these little things that other Airbnbs just don’t take the care to have on hand). Not only was the house exceptionally clean, she also had little touches like stocking the den with games and children’s books by a local author/illustrator which our son loved! Her recommendations were great and allowed us to enjoy OBX without any need for pre-planning. Michaela is a responsive, thoughtful, and kind host and we are thrilled to have spent another summer at one of her spots.

This place was exactly as described. Perfect little bungalow RIGHT next to the beach - cozy place with extremely clean and necessary amenities. Five minute walk to the beach, super close to everything. Right next door to a great pub.

We really enjoyed Marcy's place at Corolla. It was a great location with easy access to the beach. The house was well furnished, and it made our beach trip easy and enjoyable.

Her place was perfect for our family of four. The walk to beach was super easy and loved she had all the beach toys for the kids and the cart was super nice to have. Her place was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Definitely will keep her place in my favorites for when we come down again. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this quiet cottage in this beautiful lovely neighborhood not too far from the beach and the sound in southern shores. The place was very clean and perfectly located.

My family and I had a lovely time at the Sandbox. This was our first time at the outer banks, and the house felt very central to all the important to-do locations. It was a quick walk to the beach, they had all the essential and initial amenities needed, the place was very clean and tidy, exactly like the pictures, and all the instructions regarding taking care of the house was well-organized. Despite the potential hurricane during our week, we found many things to do both in the house and in the outer banks (we actually had some beach time during the week, so we got very lucky). We would definitely stay here again when we return, we made great memories while we were there, and the Sandbox was a big part of that!
