Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown, Boston

We had a fantastic stay at Johnny’s place. The house is great - comfortably enough space for a family of 4 and well configured, well-located 5 mins walk from great coffee shops and restaurants in Charlestown and only 20 mins walk from the North End and central Boston. Johnny was extremely accommodating. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Laura’s airbnb! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the Boston area. Even before we arrived, Laura’s instructions were clear and super helpful, making check in easy. The room itself was private, clean, and very comfortable. What really set this airbnb apart were the thoughtful personal touches. There was a mini fridge in the closet fully stocked with sweet treats, drinks, and even robes. They provided a computer for watching shows and a record player to enjoy some music, which made the space feel extra special. In the morning, we found cereal bowls, blueberries, and cups of water set out for breakfast - so simple, sweet, and so considerate. It’s also worth mentioning that the space is LGBTQ+ friendly, which was important to us. My partner and I both had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back! :)

Great space and location. Marie was accommodating, lending us her high chair, parking pass, and working with the cleaners to allow us to check in a little early. Would absolutely stay again.

The room and house are beautiful - just as described. The bed is super comfortable and I would book again just to be able to use the shower.

Robin and her place are wonderful! She’s a lovely person, the house is absolutely charming, her gardens are stunning, and the neighborhood is great. This was, beyond any doubt, the best Airbnb experience I’ve had.

Lionel’s place was spotless and was in the perfect location! The easy parking was a huge plus too. Lionel was incredibly accommodating and responsive, and we will absolutely be staying here again next time we go to Boston!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Boston. The location was perfect, I walked everywhere and always felt safe. The interior was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts were incredibly proactive with instructions and very responsive. I will definitely return next time I come to Boston!

Steve and Nancy were wonderful, gracious hosts. They allowed us to check-in early, gave great information about the area, and were awesome communicators from the time we booked until we checked out. The apartment was perfect for my nephew and me. It was a restful place to return after long days of sightseeing and lots of walking!

Great Location, heart of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, quick walk to local eateries, shops and public transport. Jason provided a simple and efficient check in with great local recommendations for food/drink/activities. Absolutely a super-host; we would love to stay here again on our next trip to Boston!

Located in the heart of the North End with everything you need within walking distance. Great restaurants, close to the freedom trail and Paul Revere’s house, and near the water if you want to go on a nice walk/run. The apartment was very home-like and comfortable, with all the amenities. The hosts, Tim and Becca, were very responsive and welcoming. We were very happy with our stay and would stay here again next time we visit Boston!

Kemi was a wonderful host and this place is superb! Everything exceeded our expectations. It was about a 10-minute walk to the train to get into Boston, which was perfect. And coming in from the rain to a welcoming, cozy home was the best. We hope to stay here whenever we may come to the area again! Thank you so much for the special touches and everything, Kemi!

This spot is lovely. It is an apartment inside of a really nice apartment building. Check-in is facilitated by a lockbox where you get your key fob, which gives you access to the building and the apartment itself. Some of the communication felt a bit weird (we were asked not to wait in the lobby until check-in time to maintain a "homey feel," which is bizarre because I would think that hanging out in the lobby PROMOTES a "homey feel." The kitchen is well stocked with equipment (plates, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, etc) but nothing to cook with (spices, salt, pepper, oil). Parking is included and there are (paid) electric chargers in the parking garage, which is really great if you have an electric car. The price is definitely on the expensive side.

Tim's place really is a gem; the location in Back Bay makes it incredibly convenient to get Downtown as needed, and it located just a couple blocks from the Harvard Bridge, which makes it incredibly convenient for those who'd like to take a short walk over the river to MIT. The kitchen comes well stocked with lots of really high-quality utensils and cookware (for those who enjoy having access to a good chef's or santoku knife, it was fun to see that Tim has a set of Schmidt knives for guests to use). I didn't require using the loft at all, but did need to remote work for about 8 hours during the day -- I managed to get a great set-up right by the bay window (wi-fi works great). Would definitely come back!

This place is an absolute Gem! Great location and Phil was amazing, friendly and so very welcoming. Would stay here again and highly recommended!!! There was 4 of us and it was perfect. The amenities were great. Beautiful home in a fantastic neighborhood.

We stayed at Karina's condo for 4 days and loved it! It's close to Fenway Park, subway trains, restaurant's, & local markets. Behind the unit is a beautiful path/park (Southwest Corridor Path) that leads you toward city center. Highly recommend this route if you're exploring the city by foot. We also loved the bathroom shower! We would stay here again & highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Boston. We really appreciated being able to drop our luggage off in locked storage since our flight got in early. There are many great restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores just a short walk away. Additionally, it took us about 3 minutes to walk to the closest T station for easy access to the airport and downtown. The Airbnb was very well equipped, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. Our stay was wonderful, our hosts were communicative, and I would be more than happy to return. The unit was immaculately cleaned upon our arrival. The living room and kitchen are incredibly spacious - more so than I would have thought from the pictures. The outdoor spaces provide nice fresh air, and everything else is as advertised. But, sometimes, it's the little things that make an AirBnB. I took time each day to recover with a nice sauna. They have the things that hosts normally don't provide but everyone needs - aluminum foil, saran wrap, ziploc baggies, extra blankets, extra towels, and more. The shower that I used was great. Good water pressure. Good HVAC and water temp. Great natural light. Keyless entry, meaning no "who gets the keys" juggling. No ridiculous checkout expectations. So many "good AirBnB" boxes checked. :) The location is great to either explore East Boston (which has its own charm I wasn't aware of) or to get downtown. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Highlights: Location, location, location! Quiet. Easy access. Fantastic shower. Dishwasher. Place to stop outside for loading and unloading. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Gina was extremely responsive and welcoming. The wine hit the spot after a long day of walking. The spiral staircase added excitement and drama! The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We look forward to staying again!

Perfect rental for a couple on a Boston visit. Pretty quiet neighborhood with no disturbances while we were there for our 4 night stay. Plenty of room and a very well stocked kitchen. Communication was clear, polite and prompt. Parking garage ($25 a day) was close and easy to find. Inexpensive ($8-$12) Lyft rides to many Boston attractions. Would definitely stay at Jennifer’s unit again, if we return to Boston.
