This is a quaint studio apartment that is very nicely decorated. Space was very clean and easy to navigate. Stairs are a little steep and the bathroom is on the smaller side as a warning. Kitchen is pristine and there was filtered water in the fridge that was very much appreciated! This is a great spot for one or two people to stay. Parking was relatively easy, just on a hill (so have your parking break ready!). Also loved the close access to the city without being directly in the middle of it. It was nice to come back to the quiet of the neighborhood at the end of the day and only be a five minute drive to a great coffee shop in the morning.

The place was awesome. Very clean and had everything that we needed. Close drive to the beach, shops and many great restaurants. Highly recommend this unit.

The only thing I would have changed about my stay would have been to stay longer. The property is located on a very private and peaceful area of Ada and has a cool path directly to the Grand River in the back yard, along with a fire pit. The space itself is very clean and modern, with more than enough for a comfortable stay. Next time we are in town, we will definitely be staying here again!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

This was by far the nicest Air B&B we’ve ever stayed in! Great value, very clean, nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area visiting family. Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay. The pontoon rental next door was also a hit with our granddaughters!

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The basement was spacious, clean, and very easy to access. The bed was really comfy, we both slept really well throughout our stay. It was a great value for the price, and everything was exactly as described. Ron and Briette were friendly and responsive hosts, making the experience even smoother. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This apartment is a perfect location for exploring downtown Grand Haven or spending a day at the beach. It is steps away from all that’s happening on Washington Avenue or the Riverwalk/Musical Fountain. The beach is a little further away but easily accessible via the trolley or a 20 minute walk. The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful. The apartment is clean and cozy. Cecilia provided some thoughtful extras such as coffee, cans of pop, and toothpaste. We would definitely come back!

I really enjoyed staying here. It was close to the area I needed, had good walkable areas for me and my dog, and there were lots of good restaurants nearby within walking distance. Tammy was very responsive and helpful. I was able to check in early on the first day when I needed to, and when I messaged her because it was so cold, she immediately had the maintenance come and turn the heat back on. MIchigan weather can be fickle! I would stay here again if I was in the area and needed a place to stay.

We loved our stay! The house is as described in the listing and was very comfortable with amazing decor. Super close to lots of great restaurants.

Oh my goodness, I’m not sure where to begin on our fabulous stay at Sunnyside Up. This was our first vacation rental and we are not sure that will ever be another that compares. The pictures are a perfect depiction of this great apartment. What is not shown is all of the special attention to details like the wonderful towels (including use of beach towels), every kitchen items you could ever need/want, the great bathroom including dividers in the bathroom vanity, the unbelievable instructions on how to use everything in the apartment. Location is perfect and truly walkable. The next time we visit GH we will definitely be staying here. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

What a great home!! Very modern! Very clean! Had everything an AirBnB should have. Slept great in the very comfortable king size bed. Located in a quaint town with everything you need! Wish we would have a reason to return to the area!

This unit was very comfortable and very spacious. It really has everything you need - towels galore, pool and beach amenities (chairs,noodles,cooler,etc), cleaning products, extra mirrors, cords, kitchen stuff - even those toiletries that you might have forgotten. The beds and bedding were very comfortable which is always lovely on a vacation! Patricia was so easy to work with and always answered my questions quickly. The pool was nicely heated and clean. The beach was mostly deserted so I felt like it was my private beach! The walkway down to the beach is paved and renting the golf cart made it even more of an adventure to go up and down that hill! I plan to be back!

The place as very comfortable, very clean, and accommodating. Bradley was extremely responsive and friendly at all times. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Grand Rapids area.

This is our second visit to Cherie's place, which has a great location and is an easy walk to downtown and the farmers market. The neighborhood is perfect for taking evening strolls.

Excellent location. Unit is small and bathroom/toilet is a tight fit. Very clean on arrival and furnishings are nice.

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

The location is perfect — just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and fun of downtown. The home was clean, organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a fantastic bonus and made our trip even more relaxing. Highly recommend for a convenient and enjoyable getaway!

We had an awesome stay! The place was perfect for our group of 8—plenty of space, and the hot tub and pool table made it even better. The hosts were super accommodating with checkout, which we really appreciated. Would definitely book again!

We've stayed here a few times and keep coming back. Great location and amenities along with a stocked fire pit and a hot tub. What more could you ask for? Hannah is the best!

Michelle's place was perfect for our stay. We were a group of three couples, in town for an event at the Intersection. Michelle's place was in a safe area with a nice park across the street. We Ubered to & from our event and to a great area for dinner. Parking at the house was easy. Michelle's provided coffee for the morning, a thoughtful bonus!

Really nice and clean apartment in a safe area. The inside is a little smaller than we thought from the photos but there's lots of outdoor space. Saugatuck is super adorable as well.
