34 Monmouth Beach is exceptional! Really well equipped and the space has been used thoughtfully! We go back regularly, perfectly placed for enjoying Lyme Regis. It provides the perfect ambience for relaxing, writing, reading with the beach and sea literally on your doorstep. The kitchen is well equipped, the pint of milk in the fridge and packet of biscuits are very welcoming and after a long journey, ideal to enjoy a much needed cup of tea or fresh coffee (both also provided). Thank you!!

What a wonderful place on earth. So happy that we had the chance to stay here during our England Trip. If you are searching for sth to relax in the pure nature, you defo have to book. Susan and Neil created everything with so much love and detail. Welcomed us with a vegan cake, treats for the dog and some stuff for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay in the nature and the dog loved it. Neil and Susan are so kind and always happy to help. Thx for everything ❤️

We had such a wonderful stay at the Piggery. It was absolutely beautiful, we loved the space and the indoor/outdoor living. Our two little girls had such a lovely time in the outdoor space while we could relax as it was so safe. We visited Longleat and it was a perfect locations, just 10 minutes away. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy day! Beverly was so lovely and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay at David and Jill’s place was one of our favourite Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! We couldn’t have asked any more from them, we were greeted on our arrival and they came over to check in on us as checked-out. We felt so looked after! David and Jill have thought about absolutely everything at the property, and the space is contemporary whilst also feeling cosy and relaxing. My partner and I wish we could move in!! The location is amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful, yet you can drive into big towns within 10-15 mins. David and Jill have such an amazing knowledge of the area and told us all the good spots to eat and explore throughout our stay - which was also conveniently all printed out and put into a folder for us to look through at our own leisure too. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will 100% be back. Thank you Jill and David for having us, and for making our weekend so special :)

Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Christchurch. The Airbnb had everything you need. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again if in the area!

Thank you so much for hosting us Tracy. The hut was perfect, beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. The best bit was the location, private and secluded. The view from hut was just of rolling hills - no buildings or even roads in sight! A place to unwind and de-stress.

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

What a special place! We couldn't recommend more highly. This cabin is relaxed and luxurious, Jeremy and Tessa have thought of everything! Very comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and great shower. Thank you for the delicious homemade shortbread and the prompt communication. We loved exploring the nearby beaches and walks - the surrounding countryside is so peaceful. Waking up to the sound of birds and the sheep was lovely. We would love to return! 😊

We had amazing stay at Axe Valley View for a long birthday weekend in June. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay with beautiful valley views. We especially loved how wildlife and eco-friendly it was, both inside and out. A short drive to Lyme Regis where we attended the Fossil Festival 2025 and great local hiking routes, including Golden Cap in Bridport. Alison was a lovely and welcoming host and we would highly recommend a visit.

We had the privilege of staying at little Bow Green for four nights and we had the most amazing time. From the moment we arrived, it was the complete Wow factor. Everything was perfect and the passion, love and attention to detail shone through. We loved all the little surprises and unexpected treats. Blessed with some beautiful weather we have loved cooking breakfast outside, making pizzas and lots of hot tubbing. As well as the odd the trip the greyhound pub and Lyme Regis. We would definitely come back (for the fruitcake alone) and have already had friends asking us for more info. Thank you so much, it was the tranquil break that was much needed. The shepherd's hut is the perfect peaceful getaway if you want to be in the middle of nature. Ducks, geese and a peacock wander the lawn - slice of heaven

The most beautiful surroundings for a long weekend escape. The outdoor bath and shower were a firm favourite. The place smelt incredible from the moment we walked in, like walking into a spa and just instantly relaxing. Really private and so beautifully done! We absolutely loved our time here - thank you! Lyme Regis was really great - never been before but what a lovely seaside town.. great recommendations, golden cap walk followed by pizza at the anchor inn, and the beautiful walk through the woodlands into Lyme Regis, is a must! Couldn’t recommend this place more 😊

Fantastic little cabin with nice hot tub, spotlessly clean and peaceful. All the additional amenities made such a difference. Only recommendation would be don't bring the keys into the bathroom it locks automatically and you can get stuck outside if you leave them in there! Fortunately, Annie came to the rescue first thing in the morning and we really enjoyed out stay. Thanks very much :)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sheena. She was helpful and welcoming upon our arrival and gave us lots of great recommendations on things to do and see in the local area. Her hut was cosy and quiet and a perfect spot to listen to the birds over coffee in the morning or watch the sun disappear behind the trees in the evening. A perfect private escape from reality. Gorgeous place! Went for my partner's birthday and they were absolutely over the moon with it!

The setting was absolutely beautiful and the hut was very well presented! Great suggestions for places to eat from Danette and the views and sounds from the hut of the countryside are unbeatable! We watched a barn owl from the hut on both nights we stayed!

Ok, if you are looking at this cottage and wondering whether to book it....just do it, stop wondering. You can thank me later. The quiet hits you first, only birdsong and the sound of the breeze through the trees. A genuinely beautiful, tranquil cottage, simply but lovingly presented with all the things you need. A kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. A spotless shower room, and a separate lavatory complete with wash basin. The lovely large bed, comfortable chairs, table and bookcase all highlight the time and effort the hosts have spent creating something special. Hot tub ? Yes, very private and very relaxing too. The hosts had fired up the wood burner so that when we arrived the water was nice and toasty, perfect to enjoy the sweeping view to the valley below. (Bring flip flops or crocs as the path to the hot tub has an area of gravel). In short, we have absolutely loved time here. Many thanks Rhys & Lizzie for making it possible.

Wow! What a magical place. Harriet was so helpful and friendly and we felt right at home in her beautiful waggon. It’s so close to Bruton (The Newt, Hauser and Wirth etc.) yet feels away from everything in beautiful countryside. Such a lovely place. I’d bring binoculars to see the kites better as they fly above. Sit out on the deck and breathe it all in! A special place to relax and unwind with everything you need for a great stay.
