Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Dorset

Dave and Emma are the perfect hosts. They were so accommodating of our needs and super flexible in helping us to prepare for our stay and celebration. The property is beautiful, it’s peaceful and you feel right at home. Our teenage son and family children loved the games room as a ‘den’ to escape to whilst we enjoyed sitting on the deck with food and drinks. Dave and Emma have thought of everything, if they don’t have it then you don’t need it. The kitchen amenities were just fantastic, everything was there, clean and easy to use. The mobile signal wasn’t great this weekend and broadband struggled a little, but being surrounded by our favourite people, it didn’t matter too much. We would love to stay with our families again to enjoy this beautiful property. Thank you Dave and Emma again, so so much!

We fell in love with the house , location and facilities as soon as we arrived. It had everything we needed , the children loved it , from playing tennis, skittles to bar football and stories by the wood burner before bed. Everything was there for us, a separate table in the games room for arts and crafts and games to lovely comfortable furniture outside looking across to the sheep , the children loved the opportunity to be able to walk around the field with the sheep, with one of them saying "this is the best holiday ever" and another saying " this is the best day of my whole life". I cannot fault this home! We all kept commenting on how lovely it was during our stay! It was a lovely location for visiting Paulton's Park (the main reason for our visit to this part of the world) and we also went to Stourhead which was beautiful, but the house made family time so easy and enjoyable. In the lead-up to arriving, I contacted Victoria quite a few times with some questions and she couldn't have been more accomodating of my baby brain! Thank you! we've already recommended it to friends! x

My friends and I enjoyed our beautiful and quiet girls weekend away. The lodge is exactly how it’s described and looked like the pictures, very comfortable and clean stay, the hot tub is incredible. On a cloudless night you can sit back in the tub and see how clear the stars are. Lisa is a wonderful host who greeted us when we arrived to show us how to use the hot tub and gave some locations to visit. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life, recharge your energy, you need a stay here. We visited Wincanton, Sherborne and Glastonbury during our two night stay. An absolute gem of a find, friends and I would love to book again next year for a few more days, absolutely breathtaking scenery for an amazing price.

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

Perfect place for a group to stay! Lovely open design. Fuse tripped whilst we were staying which was promptly sorted by the host. Everything needed was provided. Thank you again!

Daniela was amazing. She helped us every step of the way, clear communication, great details and made our trip to Wales extremely easy. She was highly responsive to every question we sent. The place was beautiful, exactly as described, and so restful and peaceful. Grateful for our time here!

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

All in all a great & absolutely magical place. We had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend in August and celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary. The whole place and service was first class! Kitty was so nice, so helpful and extremely kind person. The garden, lake and view out of our villa was so beautiful and magical, you felt like you are in heaven. We captured a lot of incredible beautiful photos. The bed was really comfy and the rooms spacious, beautiful, stylish and clean. We can honestly say we had absolutely the best time & 2 night’s sleep. Karmacations-Luxe Detached Villa,Lake Spa+Gardens this amazing place made for a truly memorable and magical experience for us!! We wont forget about this magical place and we definitely will back again!!!! Thank you so much Kitty xxxxx

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

Just spent a lovely week at Jan's in a party of 13. Beautiful house and gardens in a very peaceful location. Garden was huge and had wonderful views of the lake. House was equipped with everything you need, even down to shampoo and extra bath sheets for the jacuzzi! Will definately be visiting again. Thank you Jan.

We had a fabulous stay at Deerview Lodge. In a stunning countryside location with views over the fields. It is peaceful, the hot tub is lovely. A very comfortable, well maintained and spotless property. The owner is friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for my hen weekend. The house was perfect for all 14 of us. Plenty of room and great fun. I would highly recommend

The shepherds hut was a lovely peaceful place to stay, it came equipped with everything we needed & was the Perfect break needed. Hot tub was lovely and bonus for the hut having its own bathroom. Decorated lovely nice & clean & overall great place to stay. Many thanks!

We had a lovely 3 days here celebrating my partners 30th birthday with our best friend, everything was so cosy. We loved sitting outside hearing nature in the evenings and enjoying the hot tub. We don’t live too far away so will most likely book again when we feel like we need a few days to getaway!

Couldn't praise this stay any more, wish we had booked longer than a few days. Home cooked pizza, then the hot tub and watching the sun set over the hills, watching the deer in the fields and surrounded by the horses was absolutely wonderful. Nearby to Weymouth and ammenaties for exploring and stocking up. Made us and the doggo feel so welcome. Thanks so much for having us. We would love to come back!

Amazing getaway for our mini-moon! The lodge was as described and was so peaceful which was exactly what we needed, especially the hot tub! Nice touches having milk, orange juice, crocs and slippers! Anthony was a great host and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!!

Simply stunning couple of nights away. The location is beautifully quiet in the woods. The only note is that it is next door to a holiday home so there can be some noise in the evenings which we experienced, but it didn’t matter one bit to us. Cosy living space and a nice comfy bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The Chicken House is the best air b n b we have stayed in and we will absolutely be back to use the hot tub as we are gutted we didn’t get the chance to use it this time as we were too busy :) Thank you again for a lovely stay!

this stay was absolutely worth it, it was so peaceful and private, which is just what me and my partner were after. as soon as we arrived, all we could hear was nature and animals which added to the peacefulness. the place was very clean and tidy, with fabulous decor. few added touches by the host that made it feel like a home from home. we will 100% return in the near future, very sad to have left.
