I booked the stay at 40 winks for my parents - Sharne is a great host - she reached out as soon as I booked to ensure her place was suitable for their needs as there are stairs leading down to it, just before arrival she asked for their preferred milk choice, a thoughtful touch & sent me a nice message after they left - thank you for making their stay so lovely ❤️ My parents left this feedback about their stay: 40 Winks is a very relaxing retreat, a delightful little flat & Sharne made us feel very welcome. Within walking distance is the village shop and a garden centre - a must for a lunch - delicious! For a quiet, peaceful getaway 40 Winks is perfect

Although I agree with some previous comments about some updating being needed it catered for my needs. The bedroom/lounge was comfortable and roomy. The shower had been just redone and well with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking within the pub carpark gave me peace of mind. Overall I had an enjoyable stay a stones throw from the famous Gold Hill. Daniel is a very friendly host and always went the extra mile with any request. Recommended.

Very convenient and ideally situated. There are two buildings with the same name on that street though.

This flat was a great find ! Free parking spot right outside. The flat is right in the town centre but out of the way. It had a lovely privaye court yard with seating area with pretty lights ! It was quiet considering how close to the centre. Charlotte was very accommodating and responsive. I like to cook, and the kitchen was perfectly clean & had all the equipment and more 👩‍🍳 The bed was super comfy ! The TV was huge 😆 Great stay, will be back 🙌😊

We came back to stay at this flat because it has a great location, is a perfect size for two people to stay comfortably and the little garden is also fantastic. It has everything you need for a lovely getaway and Otsile is a great host.

Lovely place . Very welcoming and I had the best night sleep. BamBam the dog loved it to her only complaint was she wanted to go out on the balcony but the grating was to wide and she would fall through so may be a wood panel or a thick outdoor rug would be good as it was a beautiful lookout spot. I’m not a nosey person and dont go through cupboards and open everything up so only found the oven on the last day lol 😜 Maybe a book with some handy tips would help . Loved my stay Thank you

Clean, comfortable and compact. Peaceful surroundings but convenient for visiting the local area. Good food pub along the road.

This was a lovely stay, stayed with various members of my family coming at different points and everyone really enjoyed the place. Would happily stay again!

Pony View Lodge was a superb find and well worth the money. The property is immaculately furnished to a very high standard. Minstrel the horse was a delight. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again in the future. Great host. Highly recommend!

We booked this house for a family vacation. we were four families, totalling 13 people and a baby the house is incrediblely well designed. everything is top quality. I wish I could have stayed for 4 nights instead 2 to really appreciate the house and location. would definitely recommend. rooms are spacious, the kitchen is incredible. so is the garden. can't find any faults to be honest.

Beautiful house and very clean. Emily was extremely proactive, sympathetic and accommodating when we needed an emergency linen wash for my daughter 🫣 She arranged for everything to be collected, tumble dried and returned well before bedtime so thank you!

A great stay for 2 nights. Super comfy bed and a really peaceful and relaxing place. The hot tub is lovely to relax in and it really is home from home. Will definitely stay again when in the area

A very warm and welcoming stay especially with the log burner in the living area. Plenty of room inside and out for all the family and the dog. Jacklyn was very quick to respond to any questions and her husband welcomed us on arrival. Everything was well presented and tidy giving a nice homely feel. The only concern was access to the property and instruction as to which way to approach the property. The property is located on Love Lane but has 2 entrances along the main road one of which being inaccessible to the property. The track was very rocky scraping the underside of the car in places and was more of an access to the farm. The entrance to Love Lane opposite the church was much better, easily accessible to the property and would advise anyone to use this other than what Google maps advises! Other than this a very delightful stay and would recommend to anyone to stay here!

I had a fantastic stay at Cootes Annexe from the moment I arrived. Harriet was an amazing host from booking to check out. The location was perfect, very peaceful and lots of footpaths and bridleways for some amazing walks, the annexe was spotless and exactly as described and pictured, with lots of little touches like air fresheners, abundance of fresh towels, hand washes and creams in both bathrooms etc. Harriet also left a fabulous welcome basket with all essentials along with treats, juice, tea, coffee and milk. Communication was excellent - responsive, friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. Harriet warmth shines through and she really does care about making her guests feel comfortable and welcome. I will definitely stay again and will highly recommend Cootes Annexe to anyone visiting this beautiful area. Thank you, Harriet, for such a wonderful stay!

We had a very lovely stay. Nicola provided a high chair and travel cot to accommodate for our 10 month old baby. The hot tub was lovely and private and the views were stunning.

We had a great weekend staying here, loved the style of the apartment and it was an ideal base for us to explore the area. Really clear instructions for check in etc so all went smoothly, thanks Ryan for a great stay :)

A short notice walking weekend in the New Forest in August meant accommodation was scarce but I found this little gem on Airbnb which turned out to be just 10 minutes from our walking start point in Godsall. After a 14 mile hike on Saturday I was pleased it was just 10 minutes drive to my accommodation and even better that the shower was hot and the kitchen equipped so I could heat up an evening meal. Lovely and peaceful, very pretty spot through the garden. Good internet signal and tv I could watch Netflix and BBCiplayer on, as well as lots of books to read from. The bed was very comfy as well. Unfortunately I didn’t spend long at the cottage as we walked both days but it,s a great spot and good value option for solo travellers.

A lovely location with a fantastic and responsive host. We loved our long weekend here, great space for all of us and we could not have asked for more. Would absolutely stay again.
