We really enjoyed our stay in le bugue. Emmanuelle and Scott are absolutely amazing hosts. They are so so helpful. They recommended some beautiful restaurants and would help us whenever needed. The accommodation is in a great location. It overlooks a beautiful river. It has access to a lovely garden. Would give this 20/10 if could. Would highly recommend.

Nice and clean place to stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at this location. The hosts could not have been more welcoming including cookies for our boys after a long journey. We were blown away by the panoramique villa so requested a change to this villa which was accommodated in a wonderful friendly way. The pool was fantastic and safe for our children. A playground was there as well which kids loved. All cleaning and bins etc were managed by the hosts so we felt like it was a real holiday and able to leave relaxed. The area is beautiful. Peaceful French village but with restaurants, cafe, market hall and river side area. In walking distance for our 3 year old, with promise of ice cream! So much to do for children in the area - caves, Lascaux, lake swimming. The local museum is incredible with a lovely free experience attached. I cannot recommend this air bnb, hosts and area enough. We would love to return!

Despite the language barrier, we were very well received. The environment is very quiet and the hosts are unfailingly discreet. All the equipment is at our disposal and nothing is missing. The sound of water is very present in the accommodation, but very regular, a natural lullaby. Thanks

Beautiful renovated farmhouse, so peaceful, loved the pool. Anita and Simon brought over croissants one morning, a lovely touch. They give you full access to the property. I would highly recommend.

The accommodation is modern, clean, functional and well-equipped with good bedding. The terrace is very nice especially for breakfast in the sun. The owners are welcoming, warm and discreet. I highly recommend this accommodation to discover the region and then be able to return to relax. You can book without a second thought.

This was a return visit for us, once again it was great value. Tegan is an excellent host, helpful and friendly, we had a great stay.

The accommodation is very well equipped with everything you need for families. All rooms and living areas are sufficiently large and very clean. In the kitchen, no wish remains unfulfilled when preparing food. In the dining room there is a very large wonderful dining table for up to 20 people. Very impressive. The location directly on the river is certainly exceptional in the summer.

We had a great week of family vacation in La Palétie. We really enjoyed this charming and well-equipped character home. The view from the bedrooms, from the terrace is breathtaking. It's a place of peace and serenity. The Well-secured and very pleasant Pool is a real plus . The geographical location is ideal for visiting this beautiful Périgord region. Communication with Peter went very well. We would highly recommend it.

The accommodation is perfectly as described and in the photos. The view from the terrace is amazing. The house is very pleasant and functional. It's very quiet, so perfect for travelers who have come to unwind. It is possible to swim in translucent water at the bottom of the house. The area is beautiful and countless activities are located between 10 minutes and 45 minutes away. Benjamin was very welcoming and responsive. To be repeated.

Anne-Mieke and Matthieu were very welcoming and provided us with very clear explanations about the accommodation but also about the activities in the area. The accommodation is also great; clean, peaceful and very well equipped. You can go there without a second thought.

Ideal place for a family vacation, the setting is wonderful, everything is very well maintained, whether it's the manor, the mill or the park. There are many toys and games for children, the activities offered can also entertain adults (ping-pong, foosball, trampoline, swimming pool, petanque, etc.) In this ideal setting you can also isolate yourself to read, paint, or simply rest as there is so much space. We had a wonderful weekend that delighted the grandparents, parents and small children who are already talking about next year. We thank Marie and Pierrick very much who hosted us very well, and whose main concern must be the well-being of their visitors, in any case, that's what we felt. Thank you for an amazing stay it was everything and more. what a fantastic place to unwind and take In your surroundings. Oana and family were lovely hosts that we could ask anything at any time with no issue and recommended lots of things to do. The house was beautiful and had all we needed. Afternoons around the pool with a drink in hand were the best. We will certainly be back.

In just a few words...we loved it. We loved where it was located; it was quiet, quaint, near to (15 to 20 minutes) many of the the Chateaux that you would want to visit. And not far from towns with shopping and restaurants. You are right at the shore of the the river for swimming. Philippe and his family were very helpful in getting us settled, making sure we were okay and answering any questions we had, but they were never intrusive. We would definitely choose this location again.

This is a delightful property to stay in with fantastic garden and a lovely large pool area. Even in height of summer the apartment is cool inside and there is lots of garden seating & outdoor eating areas. Our teenagers adored the pool and easy access to the beautiful Dordogne river for impromptu paddle-boarding! The location is literally a few minutes walk to 2 fantastic family-friendly river-side restaurants and Pessac’s local shop. Cat was a super helpful host and lives in the adjoining property with her family, so is always on hand if needed. She will be also be offering retreats in 2025 - I can’t imagine a better location for one. We’ll definitely be back!

Château La Barge offers a peaceful break thanks to very welcoming hosts, in a nice setting that allows you to enjoy a beautiful pool. Thank you to Elisa and her husband for welcoming us so kindly and advised us on the area.
