Very pleasant stay in this small cottage, very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we will be happy to return to on a future trip!

A wonderful place to stay, surrounded by nature and animals. Very clean and welcoming, and Dominique went over and above to allow us to check in early. Would highly recommend.

Anais's cottage is really charming! Old farm building tastefully restored. We enjoyed the large living room and cool seating area to rest, all very well equipped in simplicity. We felt like we were in a family home where we met! Table outside with view of the hills and fields and even a small sheltered outdoor space to enjoy if too hot or rainy. Bucolic spirit. Anaïs is discreet, available and responsive. Very nice contact. Thank you Anaïs.

A haven of peace in a beautiful green environment, quiet, with a magnificent view and the company of animals (Jack the llama, the donkeys Lulu, Stella and Bella and two cats). What more could you ask for! I thank Corinne for her warm welcome, kindness, availability and discretion during the stay. The pool is perfect for swimming or relaxing. Lots of beautiful sites to visit in the area. I'm already planning to go back! Thanks again Corinne!

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

Large property, quiet, clean, with a beautiful outdoor pool. The house is spacious enough for 8 people. Big plus: the house is very well equipped (coffee, sugar, breakfast, tea towel, toilet paper...). For a short stay like ours, it was a nice surprise to find all these amenities on site. Smiling and positive, Alexandra welcomed us with warmth and kindness. During our stay, his concern for the well-being of his guests was matched only by his elegant discretion. The accommodation, functional and very clean, perfectly matched the description on the site. He met our expectations. We had a very pleasant week in a generous nature filled with birdsong and cricket chirping. What a quiet and relaxing place! And what about the sweetness of the end of the day on the terrace, in the shade of the lime tree! We also took full advantage of the welcoming pool with impeccable maintenance. As you can see, if you are looking for a peaceful haven close to the countless sources of culture and relaxation offered by the Périgord Noir, you are at the right place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Patricia is a very welcoming host who passionately introduced us to her garden and animals. She shares her know-how through very informative workshops (plants, donkeys, etc.) The tiny house is very nice when you want to recharge your batteries as a family in an eco-lodge close to nature. The pool available is a real plus to cool off and have fun with the kids. The summer kitchen also allows you to cook outside the accommodation and thus expand the living space. We highly recommend this listing!!

A great weekend at Laurence's, the cottage is faithful to the photos, it was a real pleasure to stay there. The amenities are good quality, the same for the bedding, the weather did not allow us to enjoy the garden but it is very nice and not overlooked. Excellent communication with our host who was waiting for us on arrival, the advice and recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby were very much appreciated. We would have stayed several more days, thank you for offering such a nice place for city dwellers in need of greenery!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful, really well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. You're surrounded by animals, from chickens to cows and the view into the valley is stunning. Beki and Andy couldn't have been better hosts, we loved the folder with plenty of tips for the area.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

A brilliant and beautiful Gite with the best hosts. Can't wait to come back. Hosts are so good that they went above and beyond the call of duty and even managed to organise someone to come and collect my car and get two new tyres fitted and receiver to the Gite. he even left his car for the two hours in case we needed one. Great hosts beautiful Gite. My advice is simple-book now !

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

Ideally located at the crossroads of remarkable sites (20-30 min from Sarlat, Rocamadour, etc.) Blandine's place is a haven of peace and calm. We were able to recharge and rest in this in a natural and peaceful setting. Breakfast is very decent with very good bread made by our hosts. Thanks for our stay!
