This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! Had a great time! Perfect for a little weekend getaway. Lots of activities included to make the most of your stay, had fun kayaking, fishing, and biking. The cabin feels a little out in the open, with no trees and located near the main road, and being quite close to the other cabins. Hosts were great and responsive and made us feel welcomed!

This retreat was a little slice of heaven! I was in Bridgetown over two days, and the commute to and from Leslie’s place was easy. It was nice ending the day (and beginning the next) surrounded by fresh air, clear skies and the sounds of nature.

An incredibly charming and cozy cabin with a world-class view. In my opinion, the perfect size for two people. Very comfortable, clean and worth the money. Incredibly private and peaceful. I would highly recommend this location. The host was kind and communicated with ease. 110% recommended.

It’s nice overall, we had a great experience. Place is cozy and quiet, close to the nature, plenty woods for the fire pit, it’s great for weekend gateway. Host is very responsive and friendly. It would be great if the amenities are a little updated, and have a dishwasher.

Bryan is a very responsive host. The tiny home is definitely made with love and has all the amenities you will need during your stay. I loved being able to watch sunsets over the various balconies and spaces throughout the property. The detached sunroom was also a treat! With its own wifi, TV, books and games, it was a nice room to chill out in that is also looking over the water! Will definitely want to return to this little slice of heaven.

Very homey and comfortable cabin. Can't beat the location and surroundings where just beautiful. Did not lack for anything in kitchen, will book again!!

The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. You are just far off the beaten path for some rest and relaxation but still close enough where the South shore attractions are just a drive away. The hosts will answer any question you have with a rapid response. Our two labs loved the property and Cailean Rae and Kate made a personalized gift basket for us and the pups. Can't recommend them enough.

Had a lovely stay at Mark’s quaint cabin on the waterfront. Couldn’t recommend this place enough to those who love a more rustic, earthy experience 🌳

An incredibly peaceful location, the view from the cottage is amazing. It was a great weekend getaway and close to lots of trails to soak up the last of the fall sunshine.

Great place. Kayla was very accommodating & even brought over some spare cushions and a blanket for us to have a lovely fire on the beach. Highly recommend! The only downside is the beach is very rocky so it’s kind of awkward for swimming but sunset is very beautiful

Loved this quiet peaceful space for a family getaway. Close to gorgeous beaches. 15-20min away from Carters beach and Summerville beach. The latter is a great beginner surfing beach.

Susan is, first of all, an absolutely wonderful person and so incredibly sweet and helpful. But we had an absolutely beautiful stay at Bear Beach. The private beach was stunning and so peaceful—we loved leaving the door open at night just to listen to the ocean. The wildlife, from birds to the occasional seal, made it even more magical. The sunsets were breathtaking, and the house itself was immaculate and super comfortable. Our dogs were in heaven, too! They cried for like 10 miles as we drove away. And in we’re being honest, we felt the same. :) We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Thank you, Susan!

Kathy’s place was ideal for our trip to the area. Our third trip to the residence should be enough said.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! Denis was a great host and took great care of us as guests. The kids had a great time jumping off the dock, enjoying the playground, and countless games of washer-toss. The AC was lovely on hot nights and the beds were cozy and comfy. The bunkie was a fun added touch. We would love to stay there again!

Jesse was in contact with me very quickly after booking and checked in with me at my check in time. He also followed up to see how the stay was going. I would definitely recommend the rental and will plan to use it on future trips.

Our stay was amazing once again! The house itself is beautifully designed with a deck overlooking beautiful sunrises with water views and sounds of nature all around. It is a tranquil place to relax and unwind. The home is well equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed use of the grill and propane fire pit. There is also a beautiful area with a fire pit overlooking the water. We were also able to access our internet and stream movies on the TV in the evening with a fire going in the very large, beautiful, stone fireplace. We enjoyed the garage amenities; pool table, darts, and corn hole. The ambiance itself makes it truly a dream vacation. This home is a gem! Beautiful, private surroundings. We needed a break away from noise and traffic and this was the perfect spot. We'd return for sure.

This was the perfect family getaway out of the city! Very peaceful and quiet cabin. We loved being able to sit out around the fire pitt in the evenings. Lovely area to walk- roads aren't busy, beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend Pizza at Stews (local convenience store), it was delicious!

We loved staying at the Seaman’s Cottages. The location was ideal, directly across the road from a lovely restaurant, not to mention the amazing Summerville Beach. Our dog was spoiled with beach walks everyday, as were we. The cabin had everything we needed and central to south shore destinations. We loved spending the evenings on the deck listening to the waves.
