Marsha’s place was one of a kind. It was the perfect place for our honeymoon and will always be special to us. The location is unbeatable. The cottage itself was so relaxing, with plenty of comfortable places in the house with great views, games and activities to play and books to read, that we mostly wanted to stay at the house. Marsha gave us space and was also super friendly and helpful when needed. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!

Travellers—if you are thinking of going to Grand Manan-go! And if you go to Grand Manan—stay here! Seaside cottage is centrally located for your visits up or down island. We loved exploring Grand Manan; we equally loved our time on the deck watching the tide and the fog roll in. Alex is a wonderful host in all ways; especially a top communicator. We had some ferry drama on our first day and Alex was on top of it all the way. Highly recommended.

We were so pleased with our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful sandy bottom lake, privacy, comfort, very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again!

We loved our stay here! 20 minutes from local stores and shops- the perfect distance for some quiet and privacy. The driveway itself is an experience in its springtime glory. Flowers, lush grass and trees surround this home. The view from the deck and hot tub are so serene and still, we spent every moment outside that we could. We even got to see the porcupine stroll through a few early mornings! The kitchen had everything we needed and more, different options depending on your preferred method of brewing coffee, food processor, blender, etc. The overall layout of the cabin is perfect for families with small children as it’s open concept and the deck has the gate which was an absolute godsend for letting our son have some space outside. The mud room seems like a recent addition, it was perfect for storing all of our bags and stow away the consequences of my overpacking. The washer and dryer being tucked away is lovely. Thanks again Sonia and Lorraine, it was a great trip!

What a beautiful location , rich in history. The grounds are amazing with lots to do including walking trails. The receptionist was very friendly and took the time to give us a detailed explanation of where we were staying and where all the amenities were located. The breakfast was very good and the location is central to many attractions. Loved we could visit with our two dogs . I would certainly stay here again.

10/10 definitely recommend (especially if you have young children)! Beautiful lake, the kids swam in the lake until 9pm and we had to force them to get out. Also not a lot of traffic at all and the cabin is off the road, allowing me to totally relax and not stress about children going by the road. The wifi was a huge plus (not great cell service but wifi allowed us to use iMessage/facetime). We overall loved our stay!

This place was exactly what my wife and I wanted. The house was overlooking the ocean and plenty of pretty vegetation around the house. Overall, Joe was the star. He was so amazing with communication. I’d love to stay here again.

We enjoyed a brief (3 night) stay in early May at Sunrise Seaside Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable (especially the king bed) and coastal cute. The location is quite spectacular, especially for bird lovers (we saw as many as 19 bald eagles at one time, several heron, many types of waterfowl and, of course, loads of gulls! If you love nature, there is no end to the options in Lubec. We would gladly return!

This was the perfect rustic get-away! The kids had so much to do, and mom and dad had lots of space to relax. The diving dock was a hit (even in the cold) and kayaks were awesome! The boat washroom at the beach was such a nice touch and was super clean, the beach toys and kids toys in the cabin were great. I’m so thankful to have had an affordable place to unplug with my family- Thank you Keith and Sarah!!

Nancy and Darren’s place was a slice of paradise. Our 2 big dogs, my husband and myself loved our time at the Red Door Barn. We started our mornings at Louis Head beach, located a short 5 minutes car ride. We had the beach for ourselves and our dogs loved playing fetch on the beautiful stretch of sand. The Red Door Barn is impeccable and Nancy thought of every little detail. It’s beautifully decorated. Extremely clean. And just perfect. We loved the extra dog friendly touches such as the doggie treats, the water bowl, the blankets and the big basket near the door full of little surprises. The kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked Lobster from the Wharf several times during our 12 nights stay. I highly recommend staying at The Red Door Barn. We can’t wait to come back.

A great place to weather a storm! We were greeted by a rare nor’easter so we weren’t able to hike around much but we enjoyed having coffee and looking out the windows at the gorgeous view. There was a bit of a snafu with the cleaners that take care of the property, but Brian was very responsive and apologetic and offered multiple solutions. The bidet in the bathroom downstairs was a bonus!

One of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever been. Very peaceful. Nice beaches near and nice hiking trails by the lighthouse.

This was a great stay and we hope to be back. The weather was less than favorable but it didn't matter, we loved staying here. Beautiful location and an amazing home. It had everything we needed!

5 stars for the unbeatable views on the porch— we spent hours reading out there and had a lovely dinner out there during sunset! Inside, the ship theme (i.e. signs over the bedrooms) was adorable. While the property technically has all the amenities listed, note that amenities such as laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, cooking basics (i.e. spices, aluminum foil, oil), and trash bags are not included. The TV is also very small and far from the couches, but we brought games so no problem! Overall it was amazing, and my group would book again in a heartbeat!

A wonderful stay in one of our favourite parts of the province. The place was clean and tidy, equipped with everything you'll need and the beds were all very comfortable - my son was a big fan of the bunk bed. It was also a pleasant surprise for my son to a finda selection of games and kids books, which he made good use of in quieter times. Silka is also quick to respond to any questions you might have, though we had little need of that as all information we needed to enjoy our stay was provided. The location is fantastic. You could easily kill the whole day just hanging out in the back yard, combing the beach, but you're also within striking distance of numerous sandy beaches and coastal communities, so there's plenty of ways to fill your days.

We were very comfortable and relaxed at Anita’s. The deck with river view of Annapolis was delightful, with a full moon and lights from the shore. A pleasure!

I absolutely loved this cottage. It was cozy and inviting. Great location. The host Lydia was attentive and always ready and available to answer questions. I am planning to return soon.

We truly could not write a more raving review of Claudia and Dragonfly Dreams – 10s across the board! We were looking for a peaceful getaway to relax and de-stress and we got that and so much more. Claudia's cabin was so peaceful we slept 14 hours our first night! The cabin is absolutely perfect. No other properties are within sight, making this feel like you are in your own nature's paradise. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and even spices, and we enjoyed staying in and cooking all our meals. The bed was extremely comfy (obviously!). We enjoyed a wonderful canoe and swim as well. We had to save the best for last – Claudia! Having stayed at many Airbnbs around the world, Claudia is up there as the best host we've ever interacted with. She is so warm, kind and accommodating. She is extremely responsive to messages and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. We are so grateful for her and we will definitely be back one day! Don't hesitate to book!

The quintessential Canadian cottage experience in late June. Beautiful little lake, updated cottage with everything you could ask for in the kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding, great layout, big patio with new furniture. We instantly felt like we could stay all summer. Quiet mornings (except for the rooster next door, so light-sleepers beware), beautiful paddling and fishing off the dock. Quite a busy lake during the afternoons and evenings with folks tubing and jet skiing and what not, but not enough to interfere with swimming and enjoying the sun and the water. 30 minutes or so to Yarmouth or the Tusket Falls brewery if you’re looking for an outing. Great spot all around.

Very Responsive. One is always leery about contacting a host with an issue about the place, but after talking with a friend who has several Airbnb's who said she was always appreciative when guests let her know about issues that need addressing before they get worse we contacted William and Mary about a leaking faucet in the kitchen - no issues with them and they thanked us for letting them know. Unfortunately, this was then followed with us having to report that the stove gas had run out, which was eventually found out to be due to a leaking tank. The matter was handled professionally and as quickly as could be expected and the issue resolved to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend this place, as it is well situated in quaint little town that has great views essentially everywhere you walk and the hosts are easy to deal with. On the down side, a garlic press in the kitchen and a little bigger coffee pot would be great additions ;).
