We stayed in this beautifully done new home for the weekend and hosted family dinner one evening. It was cozy and lovely environment especially with the fire place. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve our family, plus plenty of coffee! I loved the open floor plan and high ceilings! Would love to come back in the fall or summer and enjoy the screened in patio with extra dinning and seating space. Would stay again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay and found it perfect as we were visiting family nearby. Cabin was very cute and had everything we needed; from binoculars, grill, fire pit, beach chairs, towels and comfy beds. Beautiful lakefront view and the sunsets were gorgeous! We enjoyed the beach area; spent time tanning, kayaking and fishing. Fun to kayak from dock to channel connecting to Otter Tail Lake and saw two giant sturgeon. Highly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

This is a beautiful home with amazing views. My mother-in-law and spouse both went on at length about how much they would love to have a place just like it. The cohost Katherine was proactive about letting us know there would be deck work happening and was very easy to communicate with. If you have the chance, I’d highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place, had a wonderful stay! Clean, quiet, private, smooth check-in, slept 4 very comfortably. Incredible views of the lake from the dock and porch, very easy water access. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Access to the beach (yes beach) and beautiful, clear lake were unsurpassed. Boat was in great condition. Our favorite parts were the great decks, deck furniture, dock for kids to fish and all the toys in the storage area!

We loved our stay, had an amazing time, and would go again! Everything you could need was there for cooking, playing games, paddle boarding, hanging out in the water, etc. Paul was amazing to work with & communicated very quickly. The only downfall was that the listing/photos did not disclose that there was no direct access from the hallway to the third bedroom. You had to walk through either of the other two bedrooms. This made it a little awkward for three couples to stay in the house. One of the couples ended up sleeping on the pull-out couch downstairs. But do not let those things stop you from staying at this place. We made amazing memories playing cards on the deck, grilling steak, using the paddle boards/lilly pad to hand out in the water, sitting at the fire and so much more! I would highly recommend staying here.

Yvonne was extremely personable and great at responding immediately to any questions we had. Let my partner and I check-in earlier as our situation was a little different before arrival. It felt as though we were the only ones on the property, very quiet and peaceful and she was more than accommodating to our needs and plans. Also incredibly clean, we definitely recommend this stay!

Our family had the best time staying at this Airbnb! It was exactly as the pictures showed and I thought the kitchen island was bigger than expected! The kids loved playing outside, the playset was a huge hit! We loved the convince of the lake and the view is beautiful! The kids also loved all of the games/toys that had available at the house, since it was still a bit cold in the mornings! We would love to stay in this house again!

This cabin was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and had many fun amenities including the volleyball court and the sauna.

My family and I spent a week at this special island. My husband, our five year old twins and our two year old, along with our au pair enjoyed this immensely. We have stayed in AirBnbs all over the world and this little oasis in Northern Minnesota is certainly one that will stay in our hearts. The house is filled with all kinds of amenities for your stay including spices, pots and pans, crock pots, pitchers, and baking supplies. We couldn't believe everything that was available and it made it so wonderful because you do truly need to bring everything with you and if you forget something it's a big deal to head out and get it. The home carries a lot of history with it and we enjoyed learning about it. Definitely bring bug spray but they weren't as bad we expected. We rented the pontoon and loved the whole experience. I have never been so relaxed. One of the highlights of the property is the sauna. Equipt with a stove from Finland, it definitely felt like a true Scandinavian activity!

Nice space and great host. Just didn’t luck out with good weather so didn’t get to enjoy many of the amenities. Would stay again!

We traveled to Dent for a sibling and spouse reunion. There were 15 adults and 1 child. There was more than enough room for our group. One bedroom went unused. There was lots of seating inside and out. No need to bring lawn chairs. We ate every meal at the house. It had all the kitchen gear needed to cook, bake and grill. We rented their pontoon and used it frequently for leisurely rides around Silent Lake and for fishing. It was mid-September, so we were often the only boat on the lake. There we several float items in the garage which we didn't use but were available to us. We grocery shopped at the Perham Central Market 22 min from the home. We reached out to the host once during our stay with a question and they responded quickly. Family was all in agreement that we would go back. Great central location for my family that came from Montana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Nebraska. There are more good things I would say but feedback space is limited. I would recommend this home.

Loved our stay, beautiful, private, clean, and plenty of room to sprawl out. The kids loved the kayaks and roasting marshmallows over the fire in the evenings. Ashley was very responsive, we would definitely visit again!

Great place. I thought this place was so clean! Enjoyed our stay. Loved that the kitchen had so many utensils/gadgets…even a cheese shredder that I needed (and used)! Loved the deck/view/back yard. Used the grill - so that was another plus. Not all AirBnB’s provide coffee pots OR coffee - this place had both - a simple BUT appreciated extra!!! Shampoo/conditioner/body wash in both bathrooms is also a very nice “extra”. Communication was great! Recommendations for a local restaurant was spot on. Would highly recommend!!!

very beautiful location right on the lake. easy check in and good communication from the host. launching your own boat is a bit tricky, but we got it done. really enjoyed the stay

The beach, the house and lake where beautiful. Beach was well maintained. Lake was clear with little to no weeds by shore. House had plenty of room and was well maintained. Close neighbors but still a nice location. The only thing that I wish they would have had was the Lilly pad. It was not a deal breaker just would have been something else for the kids to do. Also an umbrella on the deck would have been nice. Otherwise our family enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and fun!

Exactly the venue we were looking for! Would be happy to be back in future if traveling in area. very impressed with overall communication with Host and strongly recommend any of their options in future
