Holiday rentals with a patio in Detroit Lakes

Breezy Shores Resort is a collection of two-story townhouses right on the lake. Our unit was well-equipped, beds were comfortable and the gas fireplace in the living room helped to warm the apartment quickly upon our arrival on a cold spring night. We had four days of cold, wet weather and we were glad to have a comfortable place to spend those days. Then the sun came out, the days warmed up and being right on the lake made our last four days really wonderful. Everyone we encountered in the office was immediately helpful and responsive. Nearby restaurants served us well -- we especially recommend cheeseburgers at Shorewood Pub, we had an excellent carry-out pizza from Zorbaz, and also can recommend nearby Bleachers and the Long Bridge Bar and Grill. This was an excellent stay and we definitely would come back.

Bee and Paul’s was very beautiful to stay at. The scenery was amazing and the hot tub was perfect for the night we utilized it. They had very great communication and Paul was really helpful with every question we asked. We went there for a bachelorette party and their recommendation list provided was a great guide to local restaurants. Location was great as it was private yet a larger town was only 15 mins away in case we needed anything. Thank you for having us!

Judith was very easy to work with and communication was fast. The bread from their farm is amazing. The place was nice and quiet when I was there. Tucked in the woods but right off of the main road. I needed to extend my stay and Judith was very accommodating. Would stay again!

The cabin is very nicely done! The lake was great for fishing. We do wish there was a table outside and some outdoor games or water toys to use; otherwise, it had everything we needed and was a great place to stay.

Great overall. Only complaint was an underground bees nest that stung one of us and the dog. Texted manager & she didn’t offer to come spray. We had to go to hardware store and buy spray ourselves. Also gas tank for grills ran out. Manager hesitantly offered to get some but said we could about 10 miles down the road. Paid out of pocket for these things.

Great place to stay for a few days! The beds and couch were super comfy. I also appreciates the water filter pitcher that was in the fridge. Our host was informative and very accommodating. Would visit again!

This house is absolutely incredible to see in person, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to stay in an historic home! Mary was a very-responsive host, checking in to see if anything was needed plus providing helpful instructions for my stay. I can't wait to stay here again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this home; it is even more beautiful and impressive than the pictures reflect, and I felt right at home. This was a great home for our extended family. The indoor and outdoor amenities were excellent. We had lots of fun with the games in the garage.

We came to Tammy’s place for a bachelor party and we’re blown away with the experience. Tammy was gracious enough to leave a gift for the bachelor upon arrival and was very welcoming for our weekend. The house itself was beautiful with stunning sunset views over Lake Belle Taine and had plenty of sleeping accommodations. The lake is one of the clearest anyone in our group has ever seen. With this we got to view many fish and loons while cruising on the lake. There was plenty to do off the lake as well with many golf courses and restaurants close by. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience. Thank you Tammy for having us!!

This is such an awesome Lake House Getaway! Hidden Gem! Very Peaceful, Quiet, and Absolutely Beautiful Scenery…right on the water. This destination is perfect for when you finally have a day off, or weekend getaway. And you just want to relax and recharge. And if you like to grill, just a mile away is Lake Country Meats. That has some awesome cuts of meat, and will also season it for you as well. Absolutely fell in love with this place. Looking forward to a return trip to Alexandria, MN.

We loved our stay in Richelle’s home! The beds are super comfy, kitchen was well stocked, everything was super clean, and the kids loved the amenities. Perfect for a family!

Very cozy cabin that fit all of us comfortably. Nice, easy access to the lake for swimming and fishing. No complaints.

Beautiful Lake and great fire pit for good family fun.

My family of 12 stayed here. There was adequate space, bathrooms, and amenities. Many enjoyed the free canoes and evening campfires. The proximity to Park Rapids was nice, with shopping close by. Our host Ashley was very kind and responsive to our requests for additional blankets and kitchen items. The lodge provided an additional break out area and pool tables. There were places of interest for all to enjoy. The price was affordable, especially with no cleaning cost. I would book this Airbnb again.

This was a great get away weekend spent with loved ones. The space was clean and spacious with nearby restaurants and coffee, or if you wanted to cook there was plenty of availability of kitchenware and basic items. While booking, the hosts Eldon and Jonathan were more than accommodating and responsive. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor was also very cute throughout the entire space. The space was very clean and more desirable than staying in a hotel and I will continue to use the space as I travel to the area in the future.

The space worked well for our family members and the lake was beautiful. There were memories made and we'll be back some day! 💛
