We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

What a lovely place to stay. It was lovely and clean and the surroundings were beautiful. Easy to find and once we were there everything felt like home. The best part is waking up to the sheep each morning.

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. Such a wonderful stay at the barn. Hannah welcomed us with tea, coffee, and breakfast items making our arrival seamless and stress free. The place was immaculate and like a home from home. Finally, the cinema room was a fab addition and we were even treated with some cinema snacks left by Hannah which made the experience the best. Thank you so much, would happily stay again!

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. Beautiful appartment in a lovely location. Beds were comfortable which were much needed after a full day of walking. No issues with parking close to the appartment and the cafe located below is perfect for a yummy treat 🤗 would not hesitate to recommend and will be booking again x

Jazzy was very quick a responding to messages. Always replied in a friendly manner. Her home is lovely and had helpful information inside. Great location. If we are ever in the area again, I'll be hopefully staying here if available.

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Such a lovely room. I really appreciated the extra touches - some canned drinks and milk in the fridge, some muesli for breakfast, provided shampoo and shower gel. It's a straightforward walk down to the bus stop to get into town. It's also only about £7 Uber to town and the train station (off peak). Any messages or questions were always answered quickly by the lovely Rosie.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

Lovely Apartment in a great location for visiting the beautiful places in the area . It had everything needed for our stay with a lot of thoughtful extras . Claire was an extremely responsive host. Parking was easy for 2 cars on the local roads and there were plenty of places to shop eat and drink nearby.

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Myself, my husband, our baby and mother in law all stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding in Kelham island. Khateeb was incredibly responsive, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The weather was particularly hot during our stay, which was a bit of a concern with our baby, and he dropped off a fan to help us cool the apartment down (which was massively appreciated). The flat was very clean and tidy and the sofa bed was set up ready for our arrival. The location was excellent, we recommend The Grind Cafe just across the bar. There was ample parking a short walk away and even though the apartment is in the heart of Kelham island, it wasn’t too noisy throughout the night. Would highly recommend!

stayed for a total of 5 nights, spotlessly clean and space large enough for 2 people. off street parking, so quiet, well stocked fridge with jams milk etc. I really liked the bedside table that included to USB charging points. will definitely stay again when I am next visiting

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you so much for the treats you left us in the kitchen! And the homemade jam you left for us to try was yummy.
