You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. The wood burning stove makes the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing night in. Logs provided and if you wish to purchase more they can be delivered to the cottage. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost. Spacious and bright cottage, with open fire for the winter months. Well equipped and comfortable for a short stay or a longer break. Off street parking on shared driveway. On a quiet side street but close to nearby independent shops, pubs, cinema and restaurants of Wirksworth. It is a great place to stay if you want a walking or cycling holiday or if you prefer a more leisurely break, taking in the stunning views of the Peak District.

Situated in the beautiful Pennines with all the amenities of the village of Marsden, great views and privacy. The Scullery is attached to our family home and we are tucked away in a very quiet and private spot yet only 300 metres from the centre of Marsden and just 650 metres to the train station.
