The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

The property is beautiful and exquisite in design. Large TV’s in every room and all mod-cons. There is plenty of space for 4 adults to move around. There are also plenty of little extras in the kitchen like condiments and spices, tea, coffee etc. There is a large gas BBQ that we used and a fire pit in the centre of a large table. Fortunately one of us thought to bring wood as there wasn’t any provided and it’s such a lovely feature to have a blazing fire late at night whilst drinking & having good conversation. Maybe it’s an idea for the host Ash to either provide wood or to make note on the booking that guests are to provide their own. The pub next door is also really nice. I honestly didn’t want to leave and would say that a one night stay is not enough. My only negative would be that as check-in is not until 4pm & check-out is 10am that when you consider maybe 7 hours sleep you’re not actaully getting much time to enjoy the place especially if like us you go out for a few hours.

We stayed here for a wedding and everything was spot on. The location is amazing, only about a 5 minute walk to everything we needed. I jokingly said it smelt like fresh bed when we opened the door - but that's exactly what it was as Paul had left us a note saying the fresh bread he'd baked us would be ready at 6! The fridge and freezer were also left full of supplies for us. Jill and Paul responded to our messages very quickly and helpfully throughout the stay and we would absolutely recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful stay at The Yoga Studio. The place was clean, well-managed and easily accessible . The hospitality was outstanding, the host Kat even came in person to make sure everything was okay. Truly appreciated.

Had a lovely family holiday at this lovely house, had everything we needed and more, the surroundings are beautiful, perfect for our dog and is a great central location for the rest of the peak district.

I can’t rate this Air BbB high enough. It was better than the pictures, immaculate, the master bed was so comfortable I want to find the mattress 😁 Jackie has thought of absolutely everything you could need, the amazing welcome basket was very well received. Three great pubs right on the door step, we one ate at one (The Farmyard Inn - great service and food) as the other had recently changed hands so wasn’t serving food as yet. The cafe right next door was also great, as a Kiwi I really enjoyed their coffee. Great walks right on the door step and just a gorgeous little village. Highly recommend!

Incredibly helpful and thoughtful is the best way to describe our hosts, the place was cozy and super tidy, very close to the trails we wanted to walk and Bakewell is a stones throw away. Incredible price, incredible hpsts who litrrlalt thought of everything and the perfect beds for recuperating after taking in the local views on a hike!

Lee and her partner were so friendly and helpful, she suggested places given the weather which we greatly appreciated & meant we saw more in the area than initially planned. Their place is so cosy and homely, it has everything you need for time in the Peak District and I would return again as its a great base for exploring the area further and place to relax after an adventure. Just beautiful. A tastefully renovated chapel with elegant furnishings and heaps of character. The well-equiped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we had lots of fun with the board games and cards provided. Ashford is a picturesque village with great dining and drinking options. A perfect spot for our family reunion.

Our stay at Sunshine Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The cottage itself is beautiful, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into making it pretty, comfortable, and full of everything you need for a fantastic stay. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Wirksworth and surrounding areas are incredibly charming, offering plenty to explore and enjoy. We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.

So enjoyed our stay at the Old Wash House. Everything was perfect from location to cottage & hosts couldnt have been any more accommodating. So many special touches from the freshly baked warm bread hanging on our door in the morning to the fire lit for our arrival. We loved it all & def hope to return ❤️ 😍

we have just enjoyed a 4 night stay at this beautiful cottage. it was everything we wished for, clean, private and stunning views. The hot tub was amazing and we spent most of our time thanks to the amazing weather outside on the patio. it is the small thoughtful touches that make the difference, washing up liquid, laundry capsules, cooking oil, milk, bread and amazing eggs! The owner introduced himself when we first arrived and was very friendly but didn't intrude at all. We do not have a bad thing to say about this cottage, could have stayed longer! Thanks so much.

The fact that this was our second time here speaks volumes. Superb place, ideal for a 'get away from it all' break. Host lives quite close and responds immediatley to any queries. No cellphone coverage but superfast wi-fi. Can't wait till next year.

The Annex is a great place to stay. It’s very comfortable, local to the village pub and shop. Two minutes walk. And also to great walks. My furthest drive was 20 minutes to park and walk. Alison and Neil are extremely knowledgeable about the walks and willing to talk about them if you ask. Also very dog friendly. Totally recommend the Annex as a good base.

Communication with Barbara was excellent. She was very friendly and accommodating. She was not put off by the fact we were attending a festival! The place was so charming and we loved saying hello to the dogs next door! Great location and we would definitely stay again. We loved all the extra little touches and the fact we could check in late. Thank you!
