Liza's place was wonderful! I would happily book a stay at Rickett's retreat again. The location is ideal, and the place itself is lovely, and it is well represented by the listing. Liza's communications from booking to checkout were detailed, timely, and friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here!

This was the most peaceful and beautiful space I have ever been to. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. All the greenery and the deers and random dog was super gorgeous and felt really at home. The hot tub was amazing and super relaxing. Robert was very kind and responsive, Received a phone call about all the lights, hot tub, close trails, and recommended spots!! Super helpful and very kind gesture. Would 100% go back to this place

David is probably the best host we've encountered so far. Very proactive, provided details for the property, sent very detailed recommendations for nearby activities. He was open to coming by and showing us everything if we needed. And he added one day stay to our reservation for free without us even asking! The location is great, quiet and beautiful, close to Carmel and Monterey and to nearby parks. Great place to stay with kids. We will be back.

A magical sanctuary! We loved every minute of our stay and the only negative part was that we had to leave. The location is epic- walk anywhere, restaurants, beach, UCSC, downtown, coffee shops. The hot tub is totally private and the place has a very homey feel. The lot is beautiful. Would stay here again.

Carmel River Inn is exceptional! I have stayed here many times and it's always an excellent experience! Beautiful grounds, beautiful, quite,peaceful with a babbling brook behind it!! you can't go wrong, highly recommend it,easy access to many great restaurants and shopping

A lovely space for our family of four. The host, Gabriel, was very helpful and provided lots of great suggestions for things to do in the area. And he notified us that we could have a later check out time which was perfect for our short weekend stay, making it feel even longer. The beach is very accessible and beautiful and the neighbors were friendly - even helped us jump our car. A lovely space to visit. Highly recommend it!

This place is so adorable. The grounds itself is very clean, peaceful and inviting. There are so many flowers and colors. Our cottage was so cute, my partner was saying she wants to buy one as a vacation cottage lol. It was very clean when we got there. Our kitchenette was convenient and had enough kitchen tools and utensils for the two of us. We also utilized our outdoor patio to eat breakfast and we were able to hear the ocean. It’s right off the highway so it was quick trip into Big Sur and right around the corner was a store and restaurants. Overall we had a very nice stay and were very pleased with our booking.

We had an awesome stay! The cabin is beautiful, with a perfect backyard for our pup to play while we enjoyed sitting around a fire. It’s the perfect little place to relax. Also, the host was very accommodating with our requests, which made our cross country road trip easy. Would recommend for sure!

Great find! This home has so much to offer and perfect for families…we didn’t even turn on the TV. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Games, blocks, exercise mats, books, fire pit, etc. Located between Felton & Boulder Creek, plenty of good food and grocery near by. Quiet and private, but still close to everything. Tamara was very responsive and accommodating. We hope to stay again.

Wow where to even begin! We stayed here for my son’s birthday/ Mother’s Day. This place was beyond what I expected, my family LOVED the little cottage and the gorgeous views of the ranch. We also enjoyed that we were able to really walk around outside and see the animals, my son especially enjoyed Russel the cat greeting us. The sound of the frogs at night was actually quite pleasant as well… The location was truly amazing, tucked up away from the busy city, surrounded by stunning vineyards. The house was clean, welcoming, & cozy. Check in was really easy, and communication was quick and friendly. It felt nice knowing their caretaker Samantha was on the property. Cheryl greeted us the morning we were leaving, I’m glad we got to meet her! She was very cool & very sweet. 🥰 Barlocker’s is definitely a one of a kind GEM 💎 We are still reminiscing 💗 In hopes to come back again 🤞🏽

We absolutely fell in love with this area and this little cottage is the perfect catalyst that started it all. Location is perfect and walkable to all that we wanted to do. My husband and I felt right at home and had an amazing time. Would love to stay here again!

Had a little difficulty entering communicated with the host, he was very helpful and made it very easy and accessible moving forward! Over all, it was very quiet out the way space exactly what we were looking for!

Cozy Corralitos has a garden filled with a wide variety of plants. The lemon and other citrus trees had an abundance of fruit. Many different birds were on site. The house was clean and comfortable with a well provisioned kitchen . Melissa was gracious and quick to reply when I had a question. The neighborhood is very quiet.

This place was so lovely and in a nice, if a bit quirky neighborhood. there were walkable restaurants and we were even able to walk to the beach (it was a longer walk and involved cutting through a Home Depot parking lot, but definitely doable). There was a GREAT bakery around the corner for breakfast. We were mainly in town to go to the aquarium and this place was a reasonably straightforward drive there. It was quite unseasonably warm our first day so the unit was approaching 80 degrees when we got in, but we opened all the windows and in cooled down quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at Thea and Stefano’s cottage in Pebble Beach was nothing short of magical! Our stay in Seaside was just as anticipated. Tiffany’s home was substantial for our family. Plenty of places to sleep, comfortable living area and kitchen. The location was perfect for our weekend plans, and super close to Monterey, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend staying at Tiffany’s place. We will definitely consider it for our next time in the area!

Daniela is the ‘perfect host’. Her unit is PRISTINE! Her kitchen is fully equipped, extremely safe neighborhood, comfortable bed, and is located walking distance to the most beautiful ocean in the world! (I’m very partial to our beautiful California coast.) I can honestly give Daniela’s cottage a perfect 10/10! I CAN’T WAIT TO RETURN!
