Holiday rentals with a kayak in Dane County

Adam was a great host and his McFarland lake property is wonderful. House has amazing views of the lake and has large gathering spaces inside/out for your group. We had 7 in our party and it felt plenty roomy enough for all.

This is a gem if you like to walk to local restaurant have access to all the stores you need and a need to feel surrounded by nature. The master bedroom was so wonderful with a screen door to leave open at night for fresh air, also a small balcony to view the water from bedroom. We left the outdoor summer lights on the deck that somehow reflected on the ceiling of the master bedroom at night it left a beautiful light pattern, magical place, to see turtles, birds and we saw a heron as we left the house, resting on the dock. Great location and amazing hosts! We had dinner on the grill with music it was simply perfect.- Thanks, again to our hosts! Worth it!

We had a great stay it was comfortable and clean . She left a not says my happy birthday to my boss it was his 84th really a nice thing . I would highly recommend

Our family loved our stay! It was quiet, peaceful, and in a great location relative to downtown Madison! There’s lots to do with the life of the city, and our stay provided the perfect balance of solitude. Definitely a go-to spot!

We planned this trip to introduce our 14mo son to my 96-year-old grandmother. My family lives all over the country so we don’t often gather in the same place. This house allowed us to bring multiple families & generations together. Everyone had plenty of space & and activities to do. The older teenagers (17-19yo) fished, used the hot tub, jumped in the canal and used kayaks. The younger children played games, used the swing set & enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit. And the older generations sat out on the back deck to watch it all from above without having to navigate the stairs. We were able to prepare meals in the kitchen & a couple of nights we used the grill outside. The house also had everything we needed for our toddler - pack & play w/mattress, highchair and safety gates for the stairs. We had to be strategic about showering so that we didn’t run out of hot water, but there were a lot of us, so was to be expected. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Stephan's house is great. The living area downstairs is big and ope with beautiful views of the lake. The upstairs bedrooms were quiet for sleeping. The master bedroom had the sweeping views of the lake as well and was perfect for morning coffee. All bathrooms are shared, there is no separate master bath. Overall this is a great place for a family vacation.

This home is absolutely beautiful. It is right on the lake! Quiet at the end of the road. The porch overlooking the lake is heated and very, very comfy to sit and watch the sunset. It has a huge oversized tub that I didn’t even realize. And the infrared sauna in the living room was fantastic - especially after coming in from outside. The host Kym was very responsive and super helpful. “Evolve” the hosting company never replied to any messages. However, Kym was quickly responsive every time. So no issues at all that way. Easy Peezy and very well supported. I highly recommend this home! And I would love to return! Just beautiful. Thank you for a great stay. It was a perfect place.
