Holiday rentals with a kayak in Wisconsin

Took my father and a couple of friends up to fish the river for the weekend. We came across Tims place and it couldn't have worked out any better. Private cabin setting with water access. Tim was very accomodating and responsive. I would highly reccomend, just don't have it booked next time we want to visit again!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin on a peninsula into the river, surrounded on three sides by water! One of the most tranquil places we have stayed, with all the amenities you could need. The kayaks/canoes were lovely and Susan provided so many other little touches we never knew we needed! Another plus to the rustic cabin is the built-in easy-to-use sound system which made for great memories singing songs together while cooking dinner etc. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone planning a visit to Eagle River or the Northwoods of Wisconsin!

Very clean & comfortable place! Beautiful yard and deck.. beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and the living area chairs were just what we needed after a day of shopping! Jody was responsive and had check in & check out instructions written out so well. Thank you for having us! We’ll be back!

All we could want in a BnB & more- very clean, quiet neighborhood, roomy with plenty of places to put our stuff away out of sight, comfy beds & furniture, sauna, hot tub, well-stocked kitchen, extra pillows & blankets & towels, tea kettle in addition to the coffee pots, and space in the cabinets. This is a place to truly kick back & just relax. The lake view was our favorite thing, and could be enjoyed right from the comfy couch- which was wonderful when the weather wasn’t cooperating. We really enjoyed watching the Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallows. Something we really appreciated was use of the attached garage. It rained a number of days while we were there, including while we were unpacking our car, and having use of the garage was great! This is a place that gets earmarked in hopes of a return trip.

Perfect getaway for me and my family! The house had everything we needed and more. The lake was gorgeous and the views from inside were also so beautiful. We loved kayaking, swimming, grilling, making s’mores at the bonfire, playing arcade games and just enjoying each other’s company. We lucked out and no one was around us so we had the lake all to ourselves!! It was exactly what we needed and we can’t wait to return! Thanks Kimberly & fam!

This was the perfect place for a group of six women to unwind and relax. The place had all we needed. We didn’t even leave once we arrived. Plenty of room and yet cozy enough to sit and visit.

As soon as you walk in the door you feel like you are home! The dam keepers cottage is a hidden gem for Eau Claire, listening to the water going over the dam was peaceful and relaxing, the cottage is a one of a kind very eclectic decor you see something different all the time. We were there 12 days and each day I saw something I hadn't seen before. Lots of books on the area to glance thru! Loved the cottage and will be returning on one of our next visits!!

Very nice clean place. We went for a relaxing weekend away and that is what we got. Things to go do that are not far, but a distance that allows your time at house to be peaceful. Bethany was great at giving the details needed and quick to respond. Thank you for allowing us to stay and relax

Angela’s cabin is the definition of cozy, charming, and relaxing. Tucked so close to the water, it feels like you’re floating on a houseboat! The one-bedroom space was just right for me, my husband, and our 13-month-old son. We spent our days fishing off the dock and soaking in the beautiful views. Angela was incredibly welcoming and always just a quick text away. It truly was the perfect spot for our little family getaway—10/10 would recommend again and again!

The cabin was spacious, clean, and lovely. So many incredible amenities, particularly the hot tub. Lovely and quiet surroundings leading down to the river. Just awesome.

We recently stayed at a beautiful waterfront home in Nekoosa, WI, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property’s location on Lake Sherwood provided stunning views and easy access to the water. Mornings were peaceful, sipping coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise over the lake. The home was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were responsive and provided clear instructions, making the check-in process seamless. We especially enjoyed the private dock, which made fishing incredibly convenient. Overall, this property offered the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor fun. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene lakeside getaway.

My husband and I came here for a long weekend to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place! Such a beautiful, immaculately clean, and well-stocked cabin with so many extra special touches! The location was wonderful, no neighbors right on either side of the cabin, so it felt private and was so quiet and peaceful! The leaves were at the height of changing color and made for gorgeous views out on the lake and from the cabin!! (2nd weekend of October) Coffee on the deck with the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings was just perfect! Thank you for everything you did to make our stay so wonderful and responding so quickly to messages and giving great instructions on various things! We cannot wait to come back here again!!

You will not regret booking this place! It was everything you could possibly need for a home away from home in a GORGEOUS place. The beautiful lake was visible from the sunroom and there were so many games and amenities that made it feel like home. It was very clean and had lots of water toys to play with as well. The hot tub was a nice bonus as well. We absolutely loved disconnecting here and appreciated all the little touches like blankets in every corner and firewood and kitchen essentials. We would definitely stay again!

My husband, two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The point of my vacation was going somewhere we could take our dogs and this was the perfect spot to relax with them for a few days. Everything was clean and there was a perfect amount of space for us to relax. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and most of the time it felt like we were the only ones around. It was great to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant and bar a minute or two down from the cabin since we wanted to stay close. The only thing that bummed me out was we went at the end of May and the dock wasn’t put out - and I was hoping to spend time sitting out on the water. That could have been me not realizing the typical “season” but had assumed it’d be out so I recommend checking if that’s important to you :)

Rob's place looked great in pictures and description, but once we arrived -- it was more! Kitchen WAS fully equipped and included a fully stocked coffee bar! Very clean and enough space for all 11 of us. No searching for extra blankets, pillows, etc. Everything was where it should be. Rob answered our questions quickly and directions about the property, surrounding restaurants, etc was top notch! The scavenger hunt was fun for all ages -- we were a group aged 1-58. We didn't even have to bring lawn chairs or outdoor games! When we visit the area again, Rob's place would be our first choice!
