Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dana Point

This is our second time at Highrock House. Absolutely love the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. Every amenity is available at the home - no need to leave unless you want to! This is our favorite place to stay in Idyllwild! We will definitely be back.

We had such a nice get away at Deanna's home in Dana Point. We stay in the area often and would love to stay there again. It was by far one of the cleanest Airbnb/Vrbo stays we have ever had. It was so quiet and the location was unbeatable. Plenty of walkable restaurants as well as Doheny beach. The back yard was perfect for the dogs and the doggy door made it much easier too. Thank you Deanna!!

The house and the beach were great. There was plenty to do great restaurants within walking distance.

Fabulous location, easy walk to beach, restaurants and fun. Clean home with everything we needed. Would stay again for sure!

Annette’s place couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were looking for. My husband and I wanted a getaway that was relaxing, but in an area where there were restaurants, bars and close to the ocean, and this was it! The house was very comfortable and stocked with everything you can think of, including the hot tub in the back yard. We loved the special touch of Annette meeting us to walk through everything in the house.

We had a great time at Wyatt's house in Dana Point. The location was wonderful - a view of the ocean and within easy distance of walking trails, the beach, restaurants, etc. Although you can technically walk to things, being on the east side of Pacific Coast Hwy, we decided that driving and parking (which was easy to get) was the better way to go. The house was very well stocked. There were also beach chairs, boogie boards, surf boards, a cooler, etc in the garage which were great! The house was clean and very comfortable. Easy access and Wyatt was very quick to respond during the rental process. There is street noise from the PCH, especially with the sliding glass doors open. I wore ear plugs at night and that worked just fine. One thing that should be mentioned is the VERY steep driveway. I suggest a smaller car that can turn around at the bottom of the drive rather than having to back up the drive. A big car works, just a bit more difficult.

We loved staying here for a long weekend as a family of 6. The beds were great and the layout worked perfectly for us. We loved being right on the beach, and even having sand right out the back door so our small kids could play safely while we cooked inside, read a book under the heaters, or what have you. We spend most of our time outside, and enjoyed the provided body boards, beach chairs, and sand toys. We loved having nightly fires with the fire pit as well. The host was responsive when a few issues came up, and always friendly. We enjoyed exploring the town of San Clemente, which is known for it's casual surf vibe. Things to note: neighbors are very close, so be prepared to share the space. All guests need to be approved by host- there is a 24/7 neighborhood gate attendant. Overall, we made some very happy memories here and look forward to coming back!

We have stayed at Kim's place several times , and it's like coming home - each time ! A fantastic location - easy to walk to the shops and restaurants, and it's a 10 to 15 min walk down to the pier and beach. ( to be fair it is a brisk walk back up , but well worth it , and , in season you can jump on the the free trolley to get around all over the area !

Penelope’s home was exactly what we hoped for - clean, easily accessible, close to shopping and activities, plenty of parking space and comfortable. We never needed to reach out for assistance as everything was listed clearly and comprehensively both in the listing and in the house manual. I could not recommend this home and Penelope as a host more - I hope to return in the future!

Very clean, cute decor, comfortable and spacious (for our family of 5people), has a lot of ample amenities even for kids! Clubhouse, pool & jacuzzi access. Securities at the gate were friendly and the Neighbors mostly seem don't mind having Air BnB guests in a gated community. Walking to Waldorf hotel took about 10m, beach about 20m. But the restaurants and stores were in short driving distance. We really enjoyed this spot. Thank you!

Stayed for a quick getaway and had the most amazing time! The local food and community were great, and everyone was so nice. We loved the recommendations in the guide book. The space was clean and comfortable, and perfect for our stay.

This studio is exactly as described. It was cute and centrally located. Beach and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. The queen sized bed was also comfortable which is always a pleasant surprise while traveling. Host, Manny, was very responsive and friendly.

We had the best time in this little gem of an apartment. Located in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood of Aliso Viejo with direkt access to trails, a good connection to the freeway and only few minutes by car to beautiful Laguna Beach. Cari is an exceptional host, very thoughtful and attentive whilst always being mindful of everyone’s privacy. The unit sits tucked away in the lush and green backyard of the main property and allows for a quiet stay and feeling of safety and calm. The unit is fairly small with a tiny kitchenette, but offers everything one can need to handle daily life. Very thoughtfully equipped to make the most of every square foot, clean and high end appliances. Highly recommend this place - whether that’s for vacation or for seeking a temporary home.

My daughter got married at Casa Romantica and this was a perfect location. It is also walking distance to Avenida Cabrillo and Avenida del Mar where there is a variety of shops and restaurants. The beach is also close, about 1/2 a mile or so, if you are in the mood to relax to the sound of the waves. I was very pleased with my stay. Thank you.

Great value for money and location. Super cute and walking distance to both restaurants/shops and a meandering neighborhood walk to the beach. Only thing to note is that the trundle part of the bed is a little rickety and fitting four people might be a little tight with bathroom inside the bedroom. But great stay and easy communication, would definitely recommend for a place in San Clemente.

Had an amazing experience. The view from this location is incredible. The place was spacious, clean, and felt like home. The host met us at gate and was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended great places for us to do in the area. Just an amazing place to experience!!!!!!!

Great communication. place was so comfortable, just like at home. cooked and ate at home, convenient to stores, beach and restaurants. watched sunsets at the Strand about 4 minutes away and visited our old hang out The Harbor House. views from the balcony was great. met several neighbors while walking the dog and all were so nice!

I have stayed in a number of Air B&B's and Loredana's place is a 10 (10 being the highest). Her place is super clean, well appointed, has oodles of amenities (including a washer & dryer and a complete kitchen). There is a designated parking spot right in front of the condo. It was quiet at night and yet near everything you could possibly need. Loredana is responsive in her communication. This will be my first choice when I come back to visit family again!

The best Airbnb she got everything we needed and more, plenty of beds and bedding for 4 people, kitchen got everything including condiments, dish soap etc if you ever need it, plenty of towels and beach towels, beach chairs, bathroom was with everything you need shampoo conditioner gel sunscreen etc I did not brought kids but I have also seen lots of things for kids. I did enjoy having a lot of extra things I never seen other places. The condo premises is absolutely beautiful we loved it . Thank you so much we are coming back soon

We’d stay here again in a heart beat. We knew others said it was a GREAT location but literally…it’s a GREAT location. The home is soooo very comfortable.

Paul's Airbnb had a pack n play and pool/beach equipment, which was so helpful for our family beach vacation. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. We loved the pool and the walkable distance to downtown Oceanside. We loved being right on the beach. Everything was just what we wanted and the host was very communicative and helpful. Great trip, thank you!

Rebecca was a wonderful, very accommodating, and mindful host! She has created a very vibrant and colorful yet comfortable environment in the Air B&B and made it definitely worth the stay! She made check-in and check-out very easy and even recommended some great local spots! The place is beautifully decorated and in a great location in laguna Niguel. Highly recommend! :) 10/10! Gold stars! Thumbs up!
