Monthly Rentals in Damarionas

We had a lovely stay in Filoti! The views from the patio/ porch cannot be beat. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks overlooking the city listening to church bells chime. The space is amazing, newly renovated and modern, yet feeling like its been there for years. The bedrooms and kitchen/ balcony are on different levels and there are a LOT of stairs to reach the door from the closest parking, so if you have mobility issues, take note. However, this was part of the charm for us, nestled in the winding streets, living next to locals (including cats, goats, and a donkey)! Filoti is a 30 min drive from the beaches and Naxos Town (Chora). This added to the calm as it was removed from the beach town business but was still accessible. The location is also perfect to explore the eastern side of the island, its small towns, and beaches. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene stay and don't mind a little walking, I highly recommend staying!

Wonderful, private, clean, well lit, quiet, everything we needed plus extras from Marie. Great stay but neighbors from other rooms share outside space, we got along well with ours so no problem. Well worth a visit to Filoti especially if you are looking for quieter more private space with incredible views. Filoti is a beautiful village that has everything you need and Marie is very responsive.

Our stay in Apollonas was a unique and special experience. Being here in the off-season was very different then we expected, but the host was so kind and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. This is a VERY very small village so know if you stay during winter there’s no restaurants open and no grocery stores (you’ll need to buy food in Chora/Naxos when you port or fly in and bring it with you). There is one bus that runs Tuesdays back and forth from Apollon to Chora for €14 (winter price) or you can hire a taxi for €60. The Airbnb is very small but cozy and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking! The dishwasher and laundry machine were a HUGE bonus. If you’re staying in the winter, you should be comfortable keeping yourself busy or spending time alone walking around the village or the beach. The seaglass was a delight to find! Stormy weather had us inside quite a lot but the location is stunning and the host very kind and responsive. I’d love to visit in summer!!
