Great place for large family gathering. 2 Main floor master bedrooms and 3rd bedroom are really nice. Basement bedrooms are great for teenagers/young adults. Outdoor kitchen & pool are fantastic. Great house for large group with plenty of places to hang out

It was a lovely quick getaway from Atlanta. So peaceful and quiet in the community of Big Canoe. We played 9 holes on the Cherokee golf course which was pristine and had some magnificent views. We ate at a local restaurant "Home" in Marble Hill that was recommended by Brian. The meal was outstanding. The home was nestled among trees and we felt like we were in a tree house. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was beyond enjoyable. The house was so beautiful and the amenities were ideal for our stay. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm. My favorite amenity was the workout area just down the street. I worked out every morning and the equipment options kept me busy. The view from each room just gorgeous. We will absolutely be coming back. The area has great restaurant options in all directions and there is also a mountain hike to the highest elevation in GA where you can see multiple states from the top. It’s a great place for a couple get away or for a small family to enjoy the mountain air and small town feel.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb for our girls’ weekend! The house was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Every one of us slept comfortably, which can be rare when traveling in a group, but this place was so well set up. The location was secluded and very private, surrounded by nature, which made for such a peaceful retreat. We even saw a lot of deer right outside, which was a beautiful touch! Our host was fantastic—very responsive and incredibly helpful with recommendations. She suggested some great wineries and restaurants in the area, as well as local hikes to explore. One of her recommendations, Roo Winery, was a standout. We went there and had a wonderful experience—the wine and atmosphere were great. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we would definitely come back!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. Amazing location with beautiful views. Very secluded and peaceful. The house matched the listing as described with everything you may need at your fingertips. The hosts were also very accommodating requests and responsive to any messages with no delay in response. I have no reservations for recommending this beautiful property if you are looking to relax. I will ABSOLUTELY be back to stay again!

Beautiful setting and beautiful house! We loved the peace and quiet of the location and yet it was close to everything. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the place was spotless.

Dahl House was perfect for our needs! Beautiful inside and out, with the best amenities of any Air bnb we have ever booked. Fully stocked kitchen was a plus. Pots pans, bowls, spices, good knives, they had it all. All the light switches were labeled - there were so many! I love the ceiling fans in all the rooms and the living space was amazing. My favorite was probably the porch with the rocking chairs. The location was great for walking to the square, which we did daily. The house was squeaky clean and welcoming. Will definitely recommend to our friends with kids at UNG.

We had an amazing getaway! The home is beautifully built with attention to detail—every corner felt special and unique. The furniture was very comfortable, and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The showers were spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy for us to cook and enjoy meals during our stay. We loved taking several walks around the well-kept property, visiting the animals on the farm, and simply soaking in the peaceful natural surroundings. It was the perfect escape. Downtown Ellijay is just a short drive away and is a charming town to explore. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. The check-in process was seamless, and their local recommendations were spot-on. We didn’t need to reach out for anything during our stay because everything was so well-prepared and easy. While the pictures of the property are stunning, it’s somehow even more beautiful in person. We would love to come back. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

The Nest at Cardinal Hill was absolutely beautiful, from the Mountain views to the greatly decorated home to the awesome outdoor space. Although we had a small unexpected issue with the water, Tina and Jay responded and fixed the issue immediately. We had a wonderful experience with friends and family.

We had an incredible stay at Joseph's place !! Everything was above and beyond expectations and we cannot wait to return!! The property was the most amazing rental we have had - the house was beautiful, immaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated. The property was a peaceful and gorgeous sanctuary full of foliage, a private creek and a private waterfall with tables and benches to enjoy it all !! Our dog had the time of his life and we enjoyed watching him explore in a safe environment. Joseph was very communicative and responsive and there was an instruction binder with clear instructions as well as a helpful binder of things to do in the area. Everything you could want or need was well supplied and we enjoyed sitting out on the enclosed back porch as well as the seating areas around the property including a fire pit and pans for panning gold in the creek. I cannot say enough positive things about Joseph's secluded and serene retreat - 5 star experience !!!

This is the perfect getaway for a quiet mountain retreat. The back porch is the best perch for a little quiet time to unplug. All of the basics were there for a family to feel right at home. The shallow rippling river made a little “ride” for the kids to float down until well after the sun went down. Coopers Creek store is 5-10 min away if you run out of s’mores, eggs or firewood. The locals are super friendly and hosts were superb. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

This is a wonderful home. We loved it! The location was perfect for us to attend UNG graduation. Very close to downtown Dahlonega and so many wineries. The house is so unique! We truly enjoyed the rustic feel of the cabin and the historic aspect that the hosts incorporated into the home. The property is peaceful and the yard was beautiful and fun to explore.

Kelly’s home was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed and more. She was super friendly and quick to respond, making check-in a breeze. The location was perfect with just a short cab ride to local wineries. The porch and backyard were especially charming. We’d definitely love to stay again!

We had a wonderful time staying here. This charming cabin has everything you will need for your stay! Its so cozy and fun and the host really did think of it all when it comes to accommodating to guests. From a little charging station for your devices, to a tv in every room, kayaks, grill, a hot tub this place really does have it all!! We had so much fun. The porch was my absolute favorite spot to be. We had a fantastic time!! I was so sad to leave. We will for sure be back!!

Such a relaxing getaway. Gorgeous views and a peaceful community. So much to do within Big Canoe or you can just relax out on the porch. Super close to a grocery store and restaurants. The place looks even better in person. I was obsessed with the master bathroom. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back for future vacations.

We loved this home! It was spacious yet cozy. My baby loved to sit on our laps and rock on the rocking chairs on the front porch! We were in the area for a wedding so we didn't get to do much in the house but there was a pool table upstairs and a great basement! Kelley was so friendly and accommodating. We were bringing our 3 month old and she let us check in early to get settled and said we could leave late as well. She really had everything you could need at the house. She even let us know that she has a pack and play that we could use. We highly recommend!!

There is a reason this home continually receives 5 stars! We came to escape the corporate crazy and Nancye and Gustavo's home went above and beyond our expectations. From the amazing beds, coffee bar, a kitchen only a chef could adore, hot tub, and fire pit, all exceptional. The only down side was that we couldn't stay longer. We made new memories here with our family and hope to go back to Serenity soon.

The perfect place for some R&R! The porch with its comfy furniture, fireplace and swing bed was exactly where I wanted to be to watch the rain for the entire weekend. We slept SOLID in the comfy beds and dark rooms at night. Kitchen was extremely well stocked! would love to go back!

We were in town for my son’s wedding at Swan Lake Overlook which was only an 8 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay at The Neighbors place. Clean, comfortable, fully furnished kitchen, comfortable beds and 2 full bathrooms was an added feature. The host was quick to respond and very helpful.
