Another long stay at Forge End has come to an end for my self and work colleague. Again a big thank you to Alea for accommodating us and looking after us over the past 13 weeks and during the booking process. Forge End has been a real home from home for us and has made a long period working away from home a really enjoyable. Luxury Cottage with Sauna, Hot Tub and Sea Views

CarolineRating, 5 stars12 months ago
One of the loveliest places we've ever stayed! Superb and spacious accommodation, beautifully decorated and really well & thoughtfully equipped - it will *exceed* your expectations. With the sauna and hot tub, it's not easy to drag yourself out of the house! And to top it off, the view across the loch is utterly mesmerising. Vivienne was a great host, letting us know everything we needed and leaving a lovely welcome pack. The house is in a peaceful location that is still handy for the main road and great for interesting local walks .... if you can drag yourself away! Can't recommend highly enough 😊

Monkstadt no 1 - Betty's Lookout

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wow!! What a beautiful spot! Betty’s lookout was perfectly outfitted for our party of three and we enjoyed both the cabin, the hot tub, the wood burning stove and the views!!! We were so lucky to get the pleasure of the incredible food, service and ambience of Monkstadt 1745 for dinner while there. Making our bucket list trip to Scotland and Isle of Skye so very special. Thank you for an incredible experience.

Luxury 1 bed cottage with hot tub and sea views

SamRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Outstanding! The cottage was perfect: from the views of the three lochs, the castle, and the surrounding countryside to the relaxing and private amenities and yard. We couldn’t be more pleased with the rental and especially the hosts Karen and Graham. We would highly recommend their 5-star property!

The house is situated at a beautiful spot with scenic beauty all around. Away from the hustle. The turn which leads to the house feels like on top of the world with sea view! Could see the sheep from the window. Our family of 5 had a great time. It had a drawing room with books and games, a very well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes and dishwasher. One bathroom and WC, three rooms and 5beds. We could was the clothes in the machine.

What an amazing location and host. We were blessed with sunshine for our stay which made it even more spectacular. Una was a brilliant host, provided recommendations and the AirBnb was perfect for our stay. Can't wait to visit again and explore more of the highlands.

We really enjoyed our stay at Johan‘s cottage and would love to come back for a longer stay at some point. The cottage has all the necessities and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was clean and tidy. The cottage is in a beautiful but secluded area. So if you are looking for some peace and quiet, it is absolutely perfect.

THE STRAWBALE BOTHY SKYE: unique, cosy with views.

ValerieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It’s difficult to say just a few words! Here’s the list: It’s a privilege to stay in this unique place, built with care for guests AND for the earth! A warm welcome, easy to find. The view is outstanding Great wee kitchen, bathroom, sitting room. The shower is lovely. A welcome blackcurrant cake slice! Lots of food basics provided. Private and warm and quiet - except for the birds singing Walk to the Pub in 20 minutes- it IS hilly - but good food and beer Really nice Wild swimming in the harbour at the pub. Nicola provides 3 big towels to cosy into afterwards! Only 35 minutes to Lochalsh, about 50 to Glen Elg wee ferry, 35 to Broadford. If you are older, the access is steep for cases etc. Take your time, and it’s fine! If we come back to Skye, we WILL come back to Nicola❤️

DagmarRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Being a long time traveler I can honestly say that Alex’ place is THE most beautiful house I have ever been. We were looking forward to “coming home” after each day trip. Alex has been more than a host. It felt like having a friend on Skye. We will definitely be back - we loved it ◡̈

Carragreich Cottage

The cottage is beautifully modernised and has all the amenities you could want but the bench at the back overlooking the water is outstanding. I spent hours sitting there, watching the birds and the boats.........usually with a dram of Isle of Harris whisky not far away.

Atlantic Drift - Isle of Skye - Amazing Sea views

AlexandreRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed at Atlantic Drift for four nights and had an amazing time. The accommodation itself is beautiful, charming, clean, cosy and well-equipped. It's located in a small village but it's still really private. The village is a bit isolated, at the far north west of the island, but if your looking for somewhere remote, like us, it's the perfect place. It remains close from some interests points like Neist Point or the Three Chimneys restaurant, and maximum two hour drives to see the other ends of the island. Linda and Ken were very nice and quick to respond. Thanks again for having us.

Red Mountain Garden Cottage (Self Catering)

DoreenRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We thought the cottage was absolutely charming, comfortable and attractively furnished and the views were stunning. Carbost is a lovely village and the people in the shop and the Post Office were really friendly and helpful. We did have a bit of trouble with the lock on the front door but some WD40 would probably fix that and it certainly did not spoil our overall enjoyment. Would definitely Red Mountain Cottage

The Old Croft House

RichardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an amazing time staying at Andrew’s cottage. The setting was perfect. Upon or initial arrival, we got a bit confused as to how to locate the cottage. However, Andrew responded quickly to our request for help, and we had no issues thereafter. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect. The location was ideal for our needs, and we will always remember our sheep neighbors. Andrew truly is a super host! Thank you, Rick and Mary Lou

“The Cedars" croft cottage Portnalong Isle of Skye

MariaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at The Cedars was a truly delightful experience. The cottage had a cozy, countryside charm and a peaceful atmosphere. Its distance from other buildings provided extra tranquility. There were some lovely walking trails nearby, and the cheerful company of sheep added to the charm. The amenities were excellent — we had access to everything we needed. All the instructions were so clear that we didn’t need to ask for anything else. Kind regards to our Hosts!

Craigellachie Seaside Studio

PhoebeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay. The studio is in a stunning location with great views of the loch and mountains. It's very cozy and feels like home (and it was spotlessly clean). It's a perfect base for exploring the area and a lovely place to come back to in the evening. Neil and Carol also provide a great, and very detailed, guide for things to do in the area. We would highly recommend staying here.
