The Fortress is a wonderful place to stay. We had something for everyone to have an awesome time. We had a ggreat family reunion wwith our adult kids who live on the west coast. We enjoyed local attractions but found it a bit of a drive back at the end of the day from Manitou Springs or further. The place was immaculate, very comfortable, with a spectacular views. The host was very welcoming and responsive to questions. Thank you David, for sharing your beautiful home

The cabin was peaceful and homey. We were not able to enjoy the porch and hot tub due to weather but the fire pit and indoor games were fun. Bedrooms were comfortable. Surrounding views were beautiful.

Enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. The steep roads were a challenge because of the snow, so we were glad we had a 4wheel drive. The hot tub was definitely a plus since it was cold.

This stay was amazing! Perfect location. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Saw a few deer wandering in the backyard. Great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

Exceeded my expectations!! This place is even cuter in person, the location is so convenient and close to anything you’d need. The house was stocked with everything you could need all the way down to a poop scoop in the backyard. Our dog loved the doggy door and backyard space! I would absolutely stay here again and I’m pretty picky!

With the refreshments in the fridge when we walked in and the personalized welcome note, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Marlena was incredible responsive to communication and the place was just as described. Peaceful and cozy and we felt right at home. This is by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in and will definitely book here again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay with my family! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was super comfy, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to great restaurants and attractions. The hot tub next to the Creek was wonderful. Waking up every morning to the sound of the creek was amazing! Kristen was an exceptional host: responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. Check-in was seamless, and they provided helpful local tips that made my trip even better. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The Sunflower Cabin is such a beautiful, peaceful and cozy place to unwind and relax! Away from the hustle & bustle of city life and surrounded by wildlife, this cabin has everything you need to create a perfect getaway! The magnificent views and sparkling clean hot tub create a private oasis for star gazing at night and viewing the sunrise in the morning. Douglass and Annie were so nice and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even left some dog treats for our dog ! We really enjoyed watching movies but their amazing fire place and even saw 5 deer when we were walking around outside. Definitely would stay again

Everything was as advertised. Check in was super easy. Instructions for the property were clear and posted. Property was clean and host was welcoming and nice. Enjoyed our stay and local area was beautiful with lots to do, thank you!!

This was our second stay in this cabin so you know we had to have a great time there to come back again. The view is beautiful and quiet! There are others around but you feel like you’re the only one. In 2022 we brought our dog Bear but it was sad this year because he passed away but he really loved it too. I didn’t realize we left the Dog lead so he could stay outside with us, it was sad to see it was still there. The weather could not have been better. It’s a very comfortable and great place to stay.

This is a beautiful property run by an extremely friendly and responsive host. Directions to get to the property were easy and entry instructions were simple and easy to follow. The bed was comfortable and the decor is rustic and fun. The kitchen has modern appliances that are clean and functional. Basic cooking supplies are provided and she supplies a coffee maker and coffee supplies. The linen was clean and soft. Cynthia runs a property that is a textbook example of how an AirBNB should be operated and maintained. I highly recommend this property and operator. My wife and I were impressed and thrilled with our stay. It’s less than a mile from the Wolf Sanctuary which is why we were there. This cabin is supremely private. Agree romantic hideaway.

Great home, that feels like home. Huge comfortable couches, fully stocked kitchen with spices and containers for leftovers and everything I needed. Super close to the lake!

I love going places, but also usually look forward to going home. At Jennifer’s place, I never wanted to leave!!! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, the surroundings are beautiful, and I felt right at home. It’s so peaceful!! Can’t wait to return for another visit!

This is the perfect peaceful picturesque cabin to stay at. It was very quiet, nobody around, and conveniently located between Divide and Cripple Creek. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the pups, plus the extra pasture area behind that where I was able to enjoy my morning coffee and the views, and a game of catch with the doggos. 10/10 would stay again!

It's perfectly secluded for peace and privacy, yet still conveniently close to a gas station and grocery store. Ted and Barbara were wonderfully responsive and as kind as can be. I stayed here with my wife, 2 young children (both under 2), and two dogs. This location was amazing. It is extremely serene and peaceful. Sitting on the deck you can hear the creek babbling. My pups enjoyed it as they were able to run freely. The dirt road that passes by the cabin has next to no traffic. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Sitting and looking out the large windows in the early morning and evening was extremely enjoyable. We were even visited by several deer on our first night there, and they walked right up to the cabin. I highly recommend this space for its privacy, tranquility, and beauty. I certainly plan on staying here again with my family!

We enjoyed our stay at the loft house. Drew and Tara were super flexible and accommodating to our needs. The location is a nature lover’s dream, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful views right from the window. We grilled steaks or evening and it was so lovely to eat outdoors in that beautiful scenery. The space itself is beautifully designed—clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of cozy, aesthetic touches that made it feel both inviting and serene. You can tell a lot of care went into creating a calm and inspiring atmosphere. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck or relaxing inside with a book, it’s the perfect place to slow down and recharge. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape into nature without sacrificing comfort or style!

Brooke was helpful, responsive, and extremely kind. This location was amazing and our stay was extremely comfortable. Lots of nature and cute animals like deer, birds, and squirrels. The weather did not permit the use of the dome to view the stars but when it was dark and the clouds parted a little you can see just how many stars there are without all the light pollution. We had an amazing stay here the first week of June 2025! The view is beautiful, the kitchen was to die for, the hot tub was so relaxing and it felt so homey!! Definitely listen when Miss Stephanie says to bring an AWD or 4WD vehicle. That driveway is very steep!! We will most definitely be back again :) Absolutely no complaints!!

David was a responsive, pleasant host. The cabin was fantastic... just as described (better than described in my mind). It was cozy, well kept, and the remodeled kitchen and bathroom were great. The outdoor area was quiet and calm, with the nearest neighbors being far enough away to offer a sense of privacy and seclusion. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you, David!
