Very good stay at Lydia and Pierre-Yves's. We were hosted very well. Pierre-Yves even took the time to make recommendations on the places to visit in the area to better organize our weekend. The accommodation was perfect. Even better than in photos. Jill's cottage is super nice and keeps all its promises. Jill is very kind, answer very quickly to the questions we need to ask him, it's perfect! The cottage is very close to the village of POUILLON where you can find everything you need, a Pätisserie bakery that makes excellent products, a bar-restaurant with 1930s decor, menus at reasonable and delicious prices, an adorable staff... One of the nicest locations we’ve ever visited! Peaceful, beautiful location and comfortable, well-appointed lodging. Gracious, responsive host. Walking distance to a small pharmacy, small grocery store, and very nice restaurant. We would like to go back again!

We spent a few very pleasant days in a beautiful natural setting. We have enjoyed peace and quiet. Marie Claire is welcoming and very nice. We'll be back.

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

The accommodation is perfect for a couple or a single person, it has a parking space near the entrance of the building. The residence is away from the city center but very quiet and has a bus stop line 7 that leads directly to the city center (train station district, Pont Saint-Esprit).

It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

We had a fantastic stay in this cottage just outside Espelette. The cottage itself is super neat, quietly located and equipped with every comfort. What makes this place extra special is the hospitality of our host. She had prepared all kinds of local delicacies for us on arrival — a really warm welcome. During our stay, she thought of everything with us and did everything to make us happy. That made it very personal and pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at Jean and Agnès's. First of all, a very good welcome, with very nice touches. The small chalet is charming, well-equipped in a beautiful environment. And despite the sometimes capricious weather, we enjoyed the beautiful sheltered terrace every evening, a beautiful surprise even better than in the photos. Our dog Pepito had a blast in the garden. This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

We had a great stay at Sharon and Joop's place. The latter is well thought out, accessible, pleasant and you feel good there. Being able to park next to the accommodation is a real advantage. We really enjoyed this place, which is very well maintained, very clean inside the apartments as well as outside. The welcome was very pleasant from the hosts, always concerned about the well-being of the tenants. The explanations are clear. We recommend a visit to Sharon and Joop without worries.

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We used the bikes to ride to the village where there were amenities, including a grocery store. Branne is close by with more restaurants, and amenities. Easy to reach wine tasting options. Hanging out by the pool is also good with amazing views and a bbq.

A lovely home with even lovelier hosts. Their complimentary fresh bread in the morning was a cherry on top.

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

We had a great stay in the countryside in a very beautiful house. The Basque Country is really a beautiful region, Benat, and his sons are really very friendly people

I would like to take my whole family and friends. The house, its owners, and everything around it were conspiring to make her enjoy her days to perfection. Everything is close. Supermarkets, Boulangerie, restaurants. Gudrun was always attentive. The people in the surrounding villages are super friendly. The surroundings are magical. I would always return.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.

Such a fantastic house to have a holiday. Amazing amenities including the amazing outdoor cooking/bbq space we used a lot. The pool and huge amount of pool games and other games was amazing. The house was really lovely and well located to be able to visit St Emillion, Pomerol, Libourne and other areas quickly. We definitely plan to go back!
