Family-friendly holiday rentals in Coronado

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Our recent stay at Michelle’s Airbnb in Leucadia, California, was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Michelle has thought of every detail to make her guests feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that rivaled the coziness of our own home. The kitchen was a standout feature, fully stocked with everything needed to whip up almost any meal. From cookware to an impressive array of spices, we had all the tools to enjoy home-cooked dinners, which made our stay even more special. It’s rare to find such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation rental! The location is perfect for soaking in the local culture. Right on the beach, we loved taking daily walks to explore the vibrant Leucadia community. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset every evening from the living room or deck—pure magic! This was my second stay at Meaghan and Derek’s property, just me and my dog, Oreo. It’s the perfect place to rest and slow down. The quiet, combined with the beauty of the surroundings, truly helps to cultivate a peaceful mind and leave you feeling recharged. Meaghan and Derek are wonderful hosts—you can genuinely feel the love and care they put into tending their property. It’s a special place, and I’m grateful to have returned. I can’t wait for the next time!

Chris did a great job making sure we were able to enter and we were happy. The place was spotless, newly renovated with the latest designs and literally right on the beach and boardwalk with incredible views! I highly recommend the home and PB in general!!

We had a great time at this condo. I have 3 little kids and they loved watching the airplanes land and take off. It was a bit noisy at nights since the condo is very close to the airport and a railway. But we didn’t mind that. Location is very close to downtown, little Italy and balboa park. The property management communication was quick and efficient. We had an issue with the garage door but they were very responsive.

The house was extremely clean and easy to find. The home is central to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, that are all in walking distance. Alex had clear instructions that made the check-in process super simple. The house is peaceful and quiet with space to relax inside and outdoors. Will definitely stay here again when n San Diego.

Cozy spot in a great location. A lot of places to eat, grocery stores and within walking distance or a cheap ride to / from the park. Camila was very nice and helpful! Definitely check it out.

Amazing location if you love being in the heart of a city. Walk to get your coffee in the morning, your pastries, down to the water. Couldn’t get a better location for brunch, dinners and lunches out. So many amazing restaurants and cafes. DEFINITELY come so you can go to the San Diego farmers market on Saturday, it’s top tier. Her place is beautifully decorated, has the charm of the historic building but modern feel with decor. It’s floor to ceiling windows so if you need black out curtains, it won’t work for you but amazing if you love natural light. The kitchen isn’t as stocked with ingredients as some airbnbs are but this isn’t a must nor something a host needs to provide so hardly a detractor. While the parking is a walk, IT IS FREE!! and downtown free parking and amazing location are so hard to get! So the walk to the car isn’t bad. My husband would drop us off and go drop the car etc But honestly we walked mostly and didn’t our car for much.

We had such a lovely time at Jane's casita. It was so quiet, walkable to everything, and peaceful. Lots of birds to be seen from the patio. I'm glad we stayed here for our San Diego vacation and would definitely stay here again! Cute decor, too :)

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved Leah and Drew’s place! It was so nice to have a spacious, clean, dog friendly place with an amazing backyard that was within walking distance to the Dog Beach and lots of fun shops and restaurants in OB. They were very easy to communicate with and we appreciated all the thought they put into their place. We hope to stay here again one day!

Nicholas’s apartment was the perfect find for my Southwrn California getaway. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the pool was just what I had hoped for! A perfect spot to relax during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Great restaurants and shops in walking distance, free parking, gracious staff - all around perfect!

I was only able to stay for one night this time, but it was so nice to arrive to a cozy, welcoming, private suite-like space rather than a sterile hotel room. I immediately felt comfortable and knew Teri was available to help me if needed. Exactly as described/pictured and the neighborhood was very quiet. I will definitely book again and hope to stay longer next time!

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

If you're currently looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area and have kids, stop looking. This is the place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrie's property. Kids Paradise was ideal for our young ones, and thanks to Carrie’s thoughtful preparations, we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. This made it possible for our children to have a wonderful vacation, while also allowing us parents to relax. I highly recommend this accommodation for families with children of all ages. We look forward to the possibility of staying at one of her other properties in the future.

Roger and Kari's place was a home away from home for our family with three small children. The place was well accommodating to littles with access to child furniture (pack and play, high chair, etc) and was child proofed as well. The quiet inside and outside was much appreciated as a place to get away from all the San Diego/CA exploring! Roger and Kari were very responsive and understanding to the unpredictable life with our kiddos. Thanks for a great week!

Will and Janine see such gracious and mellow hosts. Their place and the surroundings are stunning and the lodging is a wonderful space for relaxation and restoration. The pool area and sunshine were just what we needed. The kitchen area is small but well-appointed. it being a pet friendly space was much appreciated. Don't get us started on the bathroom! While it's a shared wall with their part of the house, we never lacked for privacy. Lastly, the value for what you pay is top tier. Highly recommended and we hope to return next time we're in San Diego!

We had a great stay at Tigg’s place. It was easy to get around, very walkable to get food or go to the beach. The studio had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a nice stay at Teresa’s condo! It was clean and spacious. The location was very convenient for us with a lot of things in walking distance. Teresa was also a fantastic host. She was extremely responsive and proactive.
