Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Coronado

Lindsey was an amazing host and the place was just as amazing! very nice and cozy inside and it was in a perfect location about 15 minutes from downtown. every place we had planned for the trip was very close and the beach less than 4 minutes away was a nice plus! it was very clean we spilled water on the floor and when we wiped it up the paper towel came up still white! i would definitely stay here again :)

This was an absolutely unforgettable place. Anthony and his wife, Shannon, were perfect hosts. They left a binder with plenty of great recommendations of places around the area to check out, and on our first night when we were out shopping for groceries, they were more than happy to provide some essentials (cooking oil, spices, etc.)! The place itself feels so cozy and was an excellent little getaway. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend (now fiancée) here, and Anthony and Shannon left us so gorgeous flowers and a note as a congratulations. I really can’t speak higher of this place. It’s so welcoming and you really can’t find nicer, more respectful hosts. TLDR: easily the best stay in San Diego! You’re going to love it!

Wonderful place to stay!! Check in instructions were incredibly clear, and the hosts very helpful and responsive to any questions I had. The pictures are a great representation of the place; very cozy, light filled, clean, and comfortable. I really enjoyed being within a short walking distance to Petco Park while still being able to explore some of the neighborhoods in San Diego easily. I would absolutely stay here again!! Thank you!

Apartment exactly as pictured. Luis is very communicative and responsive. Easy self check-in. Very well-equipped apartment in a quiet location. The garden with outdoor games is very nice. 2/3 small points of improvement without importance, put a real curtain in the bedroom to avoid the light in the morning, there was no towel in the bathroom we had to find them ourselves in a closet, a few very small stains on the shower curtains and some walls of the house.

It was great experience to stay at the location. Highly recommend that place !

My stay there was great! The house was very clean and easy to travel and get around!

Daniel’s place provided a full kitchen which enabled us to store food and make food. We did not have to drive all the time to find food at the restaurants. Each of San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and downtown San Diego are about 10-minutes away by driving from the stay without traffic, and it was good to have 2-tv’s inside the stay to binge-watch the Netflix on a lazy day: one in the living room in front of the sofa and one in front of the bed. Parking was street parking only, and the street sweeping hours were 10am-1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There were chickens which made noises in the morning time like 7-11:30am and dogs that did not bark all the time but occasionally during the daytime in the adjacent neighboring houses which altogether formed the vibe so different from the urban life. We actually liked that. Overall, the stay was cozy and pleasant.

Molly was a great host. She was always responsive and clear with instructions. We loved the place itself. There was plenty of room to unwind, and it is nicely located between a number of great areas in San Diego.

Beautiful & private, this was the perfect spot for our visit to San Diego! Would definitely book again!

Staying at wade’s was amazing. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood and in the retreat as well! Quiet and peaceful, bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock. Would highly recommend staying at Wade’s retreats!

Tamaras listing was exactly like her pictures for a first timer In san diego the location was so beautiful and peaceful right off the beach exactly what I needed for a mini vacation I loved that it had its own little cozy balcony, and rooftop grill/ fire pit overlooking the view of imperial Beach there was so much to do in walking distance you couldn't beat the price for this place would definitely recommend and the host was very helpful and accommodating to any questions we had no matter the time if day thank you for making my stay worth it !

I highly recommend Jessica’s place. It was clean, well stocked with everything one would need for a lengthy stay, and nicer and bigger than the photos. Great view of downtown, little Italy and the water from the huge patio that had ample seating. Jessica was a very friendly, responsive and accommodating host. The elevator has access directly into the suite which made going in and out very convenient. The area felt very safe and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. While it was close to the airport and had airplanes flying by, the noise was minimal and not at all a problem at night. My only suggestion for guests is to bring sleep masks if you plan on sleeping on the bunk beds as that area does not have dark/black out blinds and is bright in the morning. All in all a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

The place was very cute and modern. The outside patio with sofa and hot tub was a great place to eat breakfast and hang out at night. Ricardo was highly communicative and very helpful when we needed anything.

Amazing stay for me and my boyfriend! The location is central enough to everything we wanted to do and see here in sd. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed! Instructions are listed clearly and communication with Nick was always quick n reliable! There’s some pretty significant construction out in front of the building, so street parking was a bit tricky since the parking space provided in the garage couldn’t accommodate our truck - but that was just a minor inconvenience for our ginormous rental lol.

I had a great time staying at Thelma De La Paz’s place! The space was cozy, very clean, and exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Thelma was a wonderful host - polite, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Location is secluded from Rosarito beach which is nice. There is no other property around it on the beach. Pools are nice and clean.

Beautiful spot on the 6th floor of basically the only tallish building around. The views were incredible and the location was great. Nice quiet area, right on the ocean, and the sunsets were insane. Nice and clean.

Tony’s listing was exactly as described in photos & writeup. Very clean & on point. Responds quickly & gave us a heads up prior about a Marathon going on so we could plan travel accordingly. Located in area where you can walk to local restaurants & bars. If traveling to San Diego again, I will most certainly book this place again.

Had a great vacation with some friends at this beautiful home. Looked outside and could see the beach and the waves. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The home was beautiful and had tons of amenities.

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.
