Barn holiday rentals in Cornwall

Thyme Cottage is lovely. The cottage was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The garden is beautiful and the private parking was a bonus. Thyme Cottage is set down some very pretty country lanes and is very peaceful. Despite the peaceful location, Thyme Cottage is close to Falmouth, the beaches and the local nature walks. Craig and Janet were friendly, welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. Our family would definitely stay here again and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet Cornish getaway.

The barn was peaceful and serene. Rob the host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Excellent communication. Comfortable and clean beds.

This is a wonderful and charming place. Extremely comfortable. Fantastic location. Exceptional hosts. The outside space to the accommodation is a real suntrap and we were also able to use the garden and treehouse as well (a fantastic construction with beautiful views) . Lots of information was provided at the property for things to see and do, walks, restaurants etc. Other than the accommodation the local pub 'the Kew Inn' provides delicious food - above and beyond just 'pub food'. There is also an excellent farmshop/cafe where we bought some Cornish presents for the children. As you would expect of North Cornwall the local walks are all incredible and many are not too demanding, so something for everyone. Everything is so close to the property - lots of beautiful beaches, south west coast path, food shopping in Wadebridge, Padstow and for me Bodmin Nursery for those who love plants. We were very sad to leave.

Lovely home right on the river. Excellent location to stay and rest up or explore the local area.

We spent 4 nights here over new year as a couple with our little dog. This space was private with a lovely garden with a babbling brook, which was perfect for our dog to explore (not secure for dog escapologists :-) ) . We hope to be back in the summer so we could sit out on the garden as it was lovely. The rooms inside were spacious and clean, as mentioned before the bed was so comfortable and huge. The enauite bathroom was perfect with a lovely hot shower and plenty of room to move around. The furnishing were clean and very tastefully decorated which helped make it feel cosy, warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own food and drinks. Overall this is a great space to relax, not far from key places such as Helston, Porthleven, st Michael’s mount and 25 mins drive from st Ives. Lovely local pub a mile away that serves great food. Great spaces and in a lovely peaceful area, we slept so well. Marion was really helpful and welcoming.

Really special position, very close to the cliffs and coastal path. Katy communicated really well and we had a great time there.

Our stay at Bee's was perfect. It is so quiet and well appointed we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Bee and her husband were both very welcoming and helpful. The location was very good to explore the local area. We would highly recommend it.

This was our second visit to the Wren's Nest. It was perfect for our needs once more. Marisa welcomed us and everything was lovely as we expected.

We really enjoyed our stay at little Chyshore Barn. The accommodation has everything you would need for a relaxing few days, we did four National Trust Day's!!! Glendurgan garden being our favourite. Gary and Sally were good hosts, and available should you need them. We would love to return someday.

Absolutely lovely stay at Heather and Simon’s place. They were wonderful hosts with beautiful homemade scones on arrival. Location was stunning and the gardens utterly beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet comfortable and cosy break.

This place is a beautiful home with a nice private backyard and very modern interior. The dog from the owner came over every day which was very nice for our kids. We arrived very late but everything was great from the beginning. On the first morning we received freshly baked bread from the owner. Within 30 minutes of driving there are lots of things to do. You can experience Cornwall including beautiful beaches but also relax in the house including a nice fireplace. Absolutely recommend this place!!!

A beautiful part of Devon, easy access to Cornwall and the North Cornish coast, quite nice being next to the farm with all of the animals, very little light pollution meaning you can take nice nightscape photos if you desire, there is a nice walk directly from the house to a nearby village… thank you

This is now our fifth stay and it continues to impress! Becky is a great host and was quick to respond on our request to change dates and was always on hand to help. The barn is very peaceful with beautiful views. There are some great local pubs nearby and you can easily drive to both north and south coasts. Thanks Becky for the welcome treats too which was appreciated as we celebrated our anniversary on the day we arrived!

We had the most wonderful stay at Apple Barn! Alan and Davina are incredible hosts. The welcome tray is a lovely touch especially Davina’s delicious lemon cake. We loved the hot tub and the home itself is so comfortable, clean, well-decorated and contains anything you could possibly need. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back:)

Lovely place, short walk to beach, opposite a brilliant interesting museum and a really nice big kitchen and clean spotless rooms. The lawn out the front is great for the kids. James and Julia are super responsive and friendly

Our stay at Rosemoor Lodge was wonderful and relaxing. Jane the host was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. We are looking forward to booking our next stay here again.

Just had an amazing 4 nights stay at Tallulah Rose. The cottage was lovely, peaceful and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was great to be able to sit outside in the morning sun to have a cuppa before starting our day exploring the beautiful Cornish countryside and coast. Susie was an excellent host. Really warm and friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Thank you for giving us the tranquil getaway we so needed!

Wow wow wow. We couldn't recommend The Granary enough. The space was not only in a superb location but was well equipped and super clean.

A beautiful place to stay surrounded by lots of outdoor activities to do and places to see with some incredible places to eat. They were so friendly and welcoming and responsive. Would definitely go back and stay if in Cornwall again

The Harvesters Keep was an ideal accommodation for our party of 4 adults The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped Hannah had supplied a welcome pack of home made scones, cream and strawberry conserve together with fresh milk , most welcome after several hours of travelling The farm animals in and around the property added to the rustic charm and the use of comfortable patio furniture enabled us to enjoy alfresco happy hours looking out across the valley as the sun set each evening

Don't hesitate to book here! Barbara is a perfect host. She is responsive, with clear, concise, and friendly communication. Once you're there, she's there if you need her, but will leave you too it otherwise. The home is clean and cosy. It's in a cluster of farm homes, in the middle of a lovely farm. Unspoiled country views from your private garden. There's public byways immediately outside the home (both are across active farmland, leads are needed!). Barbara very thoughtfully had a bowl of clean water waiting for my dog inside, and cream scones for me. The supplied waterproofs came in handy. There's plenty of household supplies to last during your stay, and you'll have all the usual cooking utensils. The location is perfect if you want to explore all of Cornwall - it's central and within a stones throw of the A30. You're no more than an hour from anywhere in Cornwall. Its near a large town with plenty of food/shops.

The surroundings were beautiful, with a lovely back garden and seating, the weather was on our side and complemented an already ideal setting. Our hosts were informative and helpful and supplied us with fresh eggs and milk on our arrival. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again in the future

An amazing 4 nights at Edgar's Barn - the perfect base for our day trips and activities around Penzance, St Ives and Lizard. The Barn itself was so cozy and welcoming and the bottle of fizz in the fridge and welcome snacks were a perfect start to our holiday. very tastefully furnished, very clean, everything you need available, a lovely log burner with a plentiful supply of Logs. The area itself so tranquil and picturesque. The icing on the cake was that I wrongly assumed I had booked 4 nights and not 3 but Emma was to the rescue and allowed us an extra night at discount and couldn't have been any more helpful. I've stayed at many Air BnB's all over the world and this is right up there as one of the best overall experiences would highly recommend!!!
