Absolutely incredible place. Very peaceful and scenic and provided with everything we could have needed. Wonderful hosts, would love to stay again.

A delightful stay in a charming shepherd's hut! Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. The hut is nestled in stunning surroundings, offering peaceful views and a true escape into nature. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome book, filled with great local recommendations that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a tranquil retreat.

This is a unique place.. you have to like wild and back to basics.. I stayed in the circus trailer. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was worried at first at the slightly tired appearance. But once the fire was lit, the fairy lights were on it was perfect. The most comfortable bed with the greatest view from it. Tea making facility and somewhere to charge my phone. Toilet and shower block were spotless, the shared kitchen and use of fridge and cookers was great. Fire pit and wood supplied and it was the most amazing dark space. The view of the stars, ISS and starlink were the best I’ve ever seen. I stayed here so I could walk the SWCP and it’s a 15-20 min walk to Polperro from the site so it was perfect. I would stay here again. This is definitely a wild, back to basics place to stay but I loved it. Matt was super helpful and responded quickly to any questions.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of days. Everything we needed for a peaceful time. I would say that if you have mobility issues it might not be the right place for you as the path from the car park to hut is very steep and chippings under foot. The only other issues was you are unable to check in until after 5pm which I thought was late and it would have been nice to have had the hot tub warm when we arrived as it took a few hours to get it warm enough to use. Otherwise a great little place and would recommend it.

Had a great time staying here with my dog. I loved how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. On a sunny day, I got early morning sunshine in my cabin, and at night, I was able to enjoy the sunset right from my bed through the window. It was picturesque from every angle. The owner, Dale, is certainly very talented—you can see it in the small, charming designs he created for both functional purposes and decoration. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can prepare your own meals without needing to go to the town centre every time. There’s easy access to the coast path, perfect for a little hike with your dog. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a peaceful, private stay with their pets. It’s so convenient to simply open the cabin door and let your dog out to the field to wee. ☺️

A simple and small shepherd's hut in the magical Cotna valley, surrounded by and embedded in, young and old trees and next to wondruos gardens with an enchanting outdoor seating area. Own outdoor kitchen next to a yurt (cutlery, salt and pepper provided, a fridge a stroll away) and a warm shower amongst hawthorne trees. I ordered the delicious organic breakfast hamper and fell in love with the sourdough buns. Truly the best I'ever tasted and they also made my stomach purr. Sara very kindly showed me how to make them. A very kind and relaxed host, lovely to chat too! Cotna is right next to gorgeous woodland tracks and to one of the most beautiful and wild British coastlines I've met.

Great place, highly recommend!! Gary was a fantastic host, who instantly made us feel right at home. The shepherds hut was amazing, in a quiet spot with no noise. It was my partners birthday so they provided some amazing extra’s to arrive to, as well as some homemade cookies. If you’re visiting Cornwall, stay here - you won’t be disappointed!

I have to say what a gorgeous little rare gem this was to find. The location was 10/10, so peaceful and tranquil, the shepards hut was perfect, so quaint and cute with absolutely everything you could need to enjoy your stay. we slept a solid 11hours and that is absolutely unheard of. We cannot wait to come back, thankyou so much for being wonderful, accomodating hosts and creating such a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you Pauline for letting us stay at your Awesome Shepherds hut and the use of the beautiful summer house.. equipped with TV, comfy chairs. Outside of the summer house lovely table and chairs to dine. The Shepherds hut was perfect, large shower and toilet all squeaky clean. All other amenities in the hut perfect. Pauline a wonderful host, friendly and very informative... asking if we needed more pillows for my aching back! Wood burner all ready to light, but we didn't need to as we were very cosy and warm. The Shepherds hut is ideally situated for exploring Cornwall.. beaches and moors. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. We will be back! Thanks once again

During my hike along the Coast Path, it was a rare day of rest. I was able to rest relax in the cozy shepherd's hut and visit the beach nearby. Thank you for this opportunity. Sue is an incredibly helpful and kind host. Thank you so much!

Had a lovely night away here with my partner and our dog. Lovely area with amazing views and lots of things to do around! Had some lovely little field friends too! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend! Louise was friendly and super responsive.

Absolutely lovely stay! From the moment we booked it, Emma was excellent with communication and sent really helpful instructions. The actual hut was so cosy and set in beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was a perfect bonus and stayed hot for ages! Lovely finishing touches, including homemade cake, topped it all off. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at Birdsong and, as always, it was perfect. Damon is extremely helpful and friendly, the shepherd’s hut is pristine with everything you need. Would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Really lovely shepherd's hut in such a beautiful and peaceful location with a compact but well equipped kitchen. Bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was surprisingly good. The hot tub was excellent, with lovely views over the surrounding countryside and very well maintained. The robes provided are a really nice touch. We visited the Star Inn for dinner and would thoroughly recommend for great food and friendly service.

We have just stayed here and it was amazing ( we stayed here again last year)! Would 100% recommend ! Everything you needed in this beautiful Shepard's hut and so peaceful. Can walk into Perrenporth easier on the walk down the hill. Anneli was so helpful and great with communication. Thank you for making our stay just brilliant

We just had the best night away at the shepherd hut. The host as amazing and answered any questions straight away. The hut is so private and has all you need for a night away. The space outside the hut is just beautiful. The dogs had fun roaming the field outside: we will definitely be booking to stay again as we’ve had the best weekend away

Had a lovely 2 night stay in Dennis Hut! Everything was as described. Beautiful, peaceful location. Yummy cakes on arrival! We stayed here and spent the days travelling around various areas of Cornwall. Wouldn’t recommend Lanivet as a holiday destination but Abbie’s place was gorgeous and I highly recommend a getaway there! So many nice seaside towns around a 30 min drive away. We were lucky to have beautiful weather all weekend, so could enjoy sitting outside the hut in the mornings and evenings, but even with poor weather I think this would be a really lovely place to switch off a bit and enjoy yourself. The hut was clean and tidy, Abbie was easy to get hold of and gave us lots of great recommendations. Huge plus that it’s dog friendly as my little girl loved being able to explore the surrounding woodlands. Thank you so much!

Beautiful cabin in a fantastic location. Loved being right by the beach as well as having easy access to lovely souvenir stores and delightful refreshment stores. Ellie had very clear and understand instructions on how to get places which was very helpful 🙂

An amazing, peaceful stay at Lowarth Treargel Shepherds Hut. Edwina & James were extremely responsive hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect and very secluded for a relaxing stay. All the little touches made our trip extra special. Would definitely return!
