John was communicative and helpful from the get go. His place was easy to find and access. As others have said it is in the heart of the town, making it close to everything, but also a bit loud on a weekend - a white noise machine took care of all that though. Great spot and very convenient!

My family had a wonderful stay at John's apartment in Dungarvan. John was an exceptional host—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with local tips and recommendations. The apartment itself is beautiful, bright, and impeccably clean, with a spacious balcony offering a stunning sea view that made every morning feel special. The location is perfect—just a short walk to some of Dungarvan’s best spots. The Tannery Restaurant, run by Paul and Maire Flynn, is a must-visit for its fresh Waterford produce and mouth-watering focus on flavour. The Local bar is another gem, offering a warm ambience, live traditional music sessions, and a great selection of beers on draught. Both are only a few minutes away on foot. This apartment is ideal for anyone looking to relax by the sea while enjoying the charm and hospitality of Dungarvan. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The place is beautiful and decorated with love for detail. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. Paul is very helpful and a very entertaining conversation partner. The surroundings are enchanting and a dream beach is within walking distance of the accommodation. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great stay at Janet's place. Everything was just as she described. Although the bathroom and kitchen are dated, they worked just fine for us.

We originally booked this listing in May of 2020, but sadly were not able to make the trip due to Covid. 5 years later we finally got to stay int he lighthouse and it was well worth the wait! It was truly a magical experience, with breathtaking views and so many special little details in the house to make it feel like home. We spent 10 days in Ireland and this was the highlight of our trip!

Staying at this beautiful country house just outside Adare was truly an unforgettable experience. The home, originally built in 1831, is steeped in charm and history while offering all the modern comforts you could hope for. The house itself is stunning. High ceilings, antique details, and cozy accents make every room feel like part of a storybook. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and thoughtful—offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Irish countryside retreat with historic character this is the place.

What a great stay at a beautifully well appointed home. Plenty of space and lots nice touches to make you feel welcome. Siobhan was awesome and so friendly. Her communication was quick and timely. Highly recommend this place to stay.

This was our second time staying at Brigit’s and this time we made sure the whole family came along with Jim our dog. The most beautiful and magical place that we all enjoyed so much. We will be back again!

The online pictures just don't do it justice - the views are just magnificent. The house has everything you'd need and Louise, the local manager, met us on arrival and helped us out with some great local knowledge. The area is wonderful for walking and just taking in stunning coastal views. The local town of Castletownbere is very close and has everything you need for your holiday.

The accommodation was an absolute dream. It’s located in a quiet and beautiful area, perfect for a relaxing stay. Summer was incredibly helpful and always available whenever we had a question. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and we felt at home from the very first moment. We would come back again anytime!

Wonderful stay at William and Joanne's. Everything you'd want from a host and a place. They were so friendly and accommodating, really went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay memorable. The place is clean and comfy and the spot is truly beautiful. Very happy we stayed here.

This is the perfect spot for a trip to Kinsale. It's right in the heart of everything, but we were never bothered with noise. We weren't lucky with the weather, but the apartment was so lovely to spend time in, that it really didn't matter.

Our stay was great! The place was very clean and centrally located within Clonakilty. We spent a night in the Brewery Bar below…great time with local people. Camilla provided with us with some nice starter food…much appreciated! Just be careful of a couple low doorways:) Would stay here again!

Marie's place is so convenient, walking distance from everything, free safe parking. Its quirky decor and quiet setting made it an ideal base for your break away. All of Marie's reccomendations were spot on. Very quick response to any messages. Wouldn't hesitate to re- book, will be reccomending to friends.

We rented John's place for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. It was perfect for our needs and was close to many attractions. It was very clean and bright and John was a great host. He even made us homemade cookies!

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. He and Claire were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed making simple meals with the delicious lamb and fresh salmon available in town. Also having laundry facilities was fantastic, easy to use machines. Great view from our window, but we were sorry to miss the donkey s, they were elsewhere. A side note: The bedding in Ireland is interesting. Every bnb we stayed in (4) had one duvet and no top sheet. We found them to be too warm everywhere we went. But that’s no shade on the bnb. Just the way things are done, I guess.

Fabulous location that is walkable to many attractions as well as excellent restaurants and pubs. Super cute property that looks out on the water. Appreciated them leaving coffee! Don’t miss the roaring donkey pub on Wednesday night.

The location is perfect for a quiet getaway. Right next to a beach and away from everything. Sean popped down and said hello when we landed and was sound out. I will book in again if ever heading this direction
