The host is very funny and friendly. Wi-Fi is very good. There're many restaurants around there.

We hiked from Cabanaconde to San Juan via Sangalle and Melata. We enjoyed our stay at Rivelino's place for one night before we hiked back to Cabanaconde via Mirador San Miguel. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. We sat in the balcony for a beer and a hummingbird flew in. The place was peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were available. Simple rustic delicious food. We think it was Rivelino's family (wife, son and daughter) who looked after us during our stay, and they were all very friendly, helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Simple room, beautiful gardens with fruits all around. Hot springs, a great view of the river and a terrace with hammocks. Also dogs, chickens and chicks. Beautiful starry night. Isaiah was easy to communicate with. He does speak a little English and the property is very well maintained and managed by him.

We had a great stay for our night before our 3-day trail. Room was a bit cold but they have wam blankets and so we had a really good nights sleep. The hosts are super nice, we had a problem with the flushing in our bathroom and they quickly gave us another room. We had a hot shower and we can keep our luggage there while we trail. Super sweet hosts that are very attentive, can definitely recommend staying there 😊
