Cabin holiday rentals in Comfort

What a beautiful place for a getaway! It’s very peaceful and the cabins are so cozy. There were thunderstorms the night we stayed at the cabin and we actually enjoyed watching the lightning from the big window. We also saw deer walk by and our dogs loved watching them from the cabin. Big thank you for clear instructions from the host and for being pet-friendly!

The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

Great place! This is exactly the perfect spot if you wanted to get away and did not have any plans. It was very peaceful. The trail was empty when we arrived but had a lot of water the next day. There was a hot tub that was available and it was wonderful. Sean and Ren were great hosts.

Dates: May 24th-June 9th Views/Environment: Spectacular views! Secluded. Peaceful. Stargazing while in the hot tub. Nature walk/hiking/outdoors. Picture perfect! Cabin: Spacious! Great layout. Comfy bed! Great amenities and well stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware, and grill stuff. Bathrooms are great and complete with bath towels and hot tub towels. Wifi available. Host: Spencer is a great host! I originally rented the cabin for 4 days but then i kept extending it and Spencer was easy to work with! I ended up staying from May 24th-June 9th. Location: The cabin was my home base. From there, we went to places like New Braunfels, Boerne, Kerrville, Frio River, Bandera, and other great places nearby. The bars in Bandera are awesome!!! We met a lot of people and I enjoyed the place so much. Check-in/Check-out: Super easy! No hassle. I highly recommend this place, 10/10! Looking forward to my next visit to Texas!

we loved it! it was secluded and gorgeous. your host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and knew about our surroundings. she even checked in on us which I really appreciated. im hoping to go there every year for our anniversary

The perfect place for a ladies weekend. The place is in a very peaceful location surrounded by tres and a creek. Our favorite time was spent in the hot tub every night. Great communication with the administrators. They were very responsive. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed seeing the deer, Cardinals and squirrels during our stay. Relaxed in the hot tub, underneath the beautiful oak trees. House has all the amenities and kitchen items necessary for a home cooked meal. Went shopping at the local grocery store, also nearby. Location is approximately 2 miles from town. Close to several wineries and restaurants. Michael was very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay! Everything was just as stated in the description..maybe better! The pool area is so nice, and the hot tub was perfect. We did encounter a few critters but I would say that's expected given the surroundings. Definitely make sure you wear sandals around the pool area .I almost stepped on a scorpion! We loved EVERYTHING about this place and would definitely come back and stay again.

John and Suzanne, Thank you so much for the lovely stay at your 2 bedroom cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our quiet weekend away. We especially appreciated how close it was to Perdenales Falls State Park and that you allow pets – that was a big bonus for us! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio, listening to the birds, and watching the sun go down. Everything was so wonderful that we didn't have to bother you at all. Thanks, Laurie

This is a wonderful ranch like get a way and it was just what we were looking to find. We are so tired of motels/hotels, crowded towns and streets. It is nice to just get out away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Birds, a deer, a turkey, and some wildflowers thrown in just added to the enjoyment . Resting on the patios in the evening looking at a dark sky full of stars was very relaxing. It is hard to describe the tranquility of the evenings we spent. It was an unexpected treat. So many sites close by to visit and see if you are inclined to do so. It was also nice that we were out away from it all and yet within a short distance of food, groceries and other amenities. Janet is the hostess with the Mostess. She was on top of everything! Super communications, super accommodations, and friends advice to help make our stay so enjoyable. OH, and sweet treats on our arrival that were very special! Thank you Janet!

In all my years of staying in really beautiful places all over the country, this perfect little cabin on the Medina River is maybe my favorite. I stayed for three nights and almost couldn't bear to leave. Even my dog was depressed when I started packing. The cabin is thoughtfully appointed--love all the 1950s, Wes Anderson-esque touches, including the record player, used books, puzzles, and games--but it's also comfortable, clean, quaint, and simple. The screened porch is where you will want to live, especially if you love delighting in the constant stream of hummingbirds. That is, when you're not enjoying every inch of the gorgeous surroundings. My dog and I spent many hours hiking the greenbelt, swimming in the sparkling river, sitting with the fireflies at dusk, meeting friendly neighbors (though you'll find mostly wonderful solitude), and photographing the butterflies, frogs, turtles, and birds. It's a true gem of a getaway, and I can't wait to return.

We had a nice time! Very peaceful, clean and quiet place. I like that has minimal decors and spacious. Dana and Kelsey were excellent in communicating and messaging us about their instructions.

Came to Fredericksburg as kiddos were playing in golf tournament at Lady Bird. Perfect place for a family of four.

The Gumbo Getaway was a beautiful secluded space just a few minutes outside of the town. Well equipped home. Kelsey was proactive in her communications throughout our stay and I even ran into her while walking my dog, extremely friendly and made me feel right at home.

This place was great for my husband and I! Small, cozy, and peaceful. We had a great stay and would stay again in the future!

I had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was incredibly cozy and peaceful. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was how easily accessible the river was—just a short walk from the cabin, making it perfect for morning coffee by the water or evening strolls. I would absolutely stay here again!

Shannon’s place is a great Hill Country get away. It is tucked away on a private hilltop about 25 minutes from Fredericksburg. There is a great little eating joint about 10 minutes away for indoor and outdoor dining in Alamo Springs. The house is beautiful with all the small touches such as snacks, bottle waters, and plenty of fresh linens that really made the stay that much better. The night sky is beautiful and it is very quiet. My wife and I could not be happier with our stay and we will definitely be looking to stay at Shannon’s place again soon.

This is our 4th time staying here I believe. Always very clean and cozy, great hosts! Will be back!

Very nice quaint, cozy cabin--just not sure it's worth the price since it's so small but I know it's a very desirable area with the Guadalupe River across the highway a ways. We went to a graduation party on the river so we really just slept here. Very comfortable bed!

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend at Trinidad’s and Samantha’s place! The whole airbnb is thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and you really can’t beat the views all around the property. Enjoy the stock tank pool and do some stargazing, because on a clear night it’s perfect for it. Thanks for an excellent stay!

We would definitely like to stay here every time we come to the Texas hill country! Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, greeting us when we arrived and providing charcoal for the grill for us to cook our dinner. The ranch is beautiful, with great views from the tiny home, and lots of wildlife. We loved the location and the places we visited in the surrounding area. This has been the highlight of our Texas trip!
