We really enjoyed our stay at Becky's place. It was just as described and exactly what we were hoping for-peaceful and relaxing. The house was clean and comfortable and all the sweet little creatures just outside the front door (especially Mosley the burro) made this place unforgettable. We also loved the rocking chairs on the screened porch! Becky is so kind and accommodating and her delicious breakfast in the morning, in the gorgeous lodge, was icing on the cake.

Everything about our stay was outstanding. The house is in a great location for a quiet getaway, but close to New Braunfels, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Gruene, etc. for fun activities and dining. The house was perfect for our group of five adults. The balcony views of the hill country, especially at sunset was a highlight. Our hosts did everything to make us feel like welcome guests in their home.

Linda was an amazing host. She answered all our questions immediately and was always accommodating if we needed anything. The home was an incredible place to stay. Where else can you walk out onto the porch with your morning coffee, and watch Texas Longhorns? We saw foxes, deer, and lot of birds. If you love nature, and being someplace peaceful, you need to do yourself a favor, and book this place! Oh, and in case you are wondering, the internet is great. I work remotely and had no issues with working, or streaming entertainment. I spent most my time outside during my workday, looking at all the wildlife, while my colleagues were surrounded by 4 walls, and very jealous :)

Awesome stay, we enjoyed the trails, fresh eggs, and the fire pit! Will be coming back this summer!

Visited this place with a big family. It was a great place that fit all of us while enjoying all the play areas and pool. I would 100% recommend.

The farm house was well appointed. The lack of tvs in every room reiterated that guests are there to unplug. If you need a break from the chaos of day to day living in the city, Montesino ranch has you covered.

We absolutely LOVED this place! A very rural feel with just enough modern touches! Great bed/shower/ and absolutely beautiful! Great trails and wildlife! If I had to say any negative it would be …. the pool needs to be slightly bigger or add a water/ swim hole , if you have more than a few guests as it can be a little crowded when its really hot outside! With that being said I would still give it a 10! Thanks so much for a great stay! Will definitely return if at all possible! Pam and Kelly were great !

My family and I had an incredible experience at this place during Memorial Day weekend. From the moment we arrived, Richard and Donna, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our kids had a great time. They helped them feed the deer, started a fire for s’mores, and even provided us with board games, a stocked kitchen, floats for the river, and anything else we might need. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the river. This makes it perfect for families with kids. The kids can easily explore the wildlife that comes to visit their yard as well. The home itself is clean and cozy, with everything you could need to make a comfortable stay. They are very delightful people and we can’t wait to go back again!

The Farmhouse is in a very quiet area. We loved the nostalgia of the place and the peaceful atmosphere. Bartley was spot on as a host. We would definitely stay again!

second time rent9ng the property. Just like last year. The host is amazing the homes are amazing. it's quiet, great property for a cook out with family or watching the deer run around in the morning. we will be back next year as this is becoming an annual spot for us.

A great stay overall. Our crew was a family with adult children, and this was a perfect space for that. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and multiple decks were nice (they could use refinishing though). Great views of the hill country and good proximity to town. Even with steep hills, the neighborhood was nice for walking. The rooms and space were as described. Overall clean but we did have an issue with some bedsheets. However, the response was immediate, apologetic, and was resolved. We used the grill while we were there and it worked just fine. One thing to note is the sound of the floors. If you're in one of the downstairs rooms and there is activity in the kitchen and living room above, you will hear it. Not much can be done about that, just a note for light sleepers. Should I be in the Canyon Lake area with a group, I would stay again.

Was the perfect spot to get away from the big city, but close enough to city ammenities that we didnt feel lost in nature. The property was a cute retired vineyard, and we even saw deer relaxing in the old trellis.

We attended a concert at Mountain breeze and this was a short 15 min drive . I forgot my toothbrush and they had 2 extra which came in handy, appreciate it! Definitely coming back, lots of room for 2 people. Wine was available however we had our own drinks.

Marie's cabin was perfect for our girls weekend away! We had all the peace and quiet we were looking for, were able to enjoy the pool and not worry about bothering neighbors. We got a glimpse of the Longhorns and plenty of deer sightings. The cabin is decorated impeccably and shower in the master bath was fantastic! Our group of 8 had plenty of space to lounge and dine and make ourselves at home.

We were actually pleasantly surprised that the home was even better than the photos! John was a fabulous host. He met us at the property to welcome us and gave us an overview of the whole place. We had 2 requests and John met our needs without blinking an eye. The home was well cared for and had everything we could possibly need and more! I would highly recommend the ranch and I will definitely return. Thank you John!!!

This place is amazing, we will definitely be back. It it located right off the river, the pictures are accurate. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are ice chests for usage and plenty of nice outside seating. The inside is immaculate and the outside scenery is beautiful. We woke up to deer in the window. It is secluded and private but not too far away from town, if you would like to venture out. I book tons of air bnbs on my work account and the hosts for this property are by far the best I have ever dealt with. They are responsive and send extremely detailed useful information regarding the property and information that list close restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful time with our family, I can’t wait to go back. Deserves more than 5 stars!

My stay at Brenda’s was perfect! The bed was inviting & the place was spotless clean and beautiful. All the amenities you may need are provided ! The check in procedure was simple and Brenda was beyond accommodating to me and easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend ! Thank you again Brenda !

Even better than expected! This was a perfect spot for our staycation, right outside of Austin. Best part was waking up to a dozen cows outside the front of the house! The kids loved it.

My daughter, my sweet 9-yr-old grandboxer, Gertie, & I had the best spur of the moment getaway at this lovely lake house. We enjoyed it so much, we added an extra day! Gertie was just diagnosed with a serious heart condition, so physical activity is now limited. She can’t play like she wants/used to or even go for long walks. We have to get creative with ways to stimulate & entertain her, so this affected where we chose to stay. The huge main deck was the perfect, most peaceful & beautiful “giant playpen” for Gertie to enjoy the outdoors & make new friends with all the deer, squirrels & birds. She LOVED it! We did, too, & spent most of our time out there making priceless memories with our sweet girl. Everything is exactly as shown & described. We had easy, ongoing communication with both Marisol & Carmen. It felt like talking to kind, helpful neighbors. Thank you, Marisol, for your parting sweet message about Gertie. We hope to be back to make more memories w her. We LOVED our stay!❤️?

This house was the COOLEST!! I cannot recommend it enough. From the decor to the outdoor space it was such an amazing stay for our large party. Plenty of room for everyone while still feeling very communal. Rick was incredible and so personable. You MUST stay here!
