We spent a lovely family weekend in Katie’s home. It’s very practical and well equipped. Walking distance to the beach. Katie was extremely helpful and reactive. Highly recommend!

Steps to Shore+Shops|6BR/4BA Retreat is more than I expected. The photos don’t do it any justice you have to see it in person. The rooms are very nice. The bathrooms are updated and also very nice and the whole house is special. The backyard is beautiful the front of the house as well. The kitchen is big with a very nice large island. The house has everything that we need as far as in order to cook, sufficient storage, laundry room and bedding included as well as towels was fantastic. It just is really a very nice vacation home. I’m glad we stayed there and we will consider staying there again in the future. Megan, our host was also lovely. She was attentive when I texted her and responded quickly. She gave very clear instructions on how to get in what to expect and if whenever I had a question and text her, she would answer my question fully to my satisfaction. Definitely a great host!

Brandon’s home was as beautiful as the pictures. We loved how easy it was to walk to everything in the town. The pool and rooftop patio were an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, and the house easily accommodated our group of 8. We will be back!

Great place to stay. Hyrum was quick to respond when I messaged him. Neighborhood is quiet but conveniently located to the highway. Would stay here again.

The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. Cupboards were stocked. The view of the river is gorgeous. Brian responded quickly to any questions we had. Check in and out was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

The house was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. One of the highlights of our trip was going kayaking (my first time)—an unforgettable experience, my family loved it, even my 3-year-old. Pam and Rick had great suggestions for local activities, and their tips helped make the whole outing smooth and enjoyable. The peaceful setting of their home was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings, especially after running after our 2 toddlers. We’re so thankful for this memorable stay and highly recommend their home to anyone visiting Montrose and we would love to return someday!

It was peaceful and serene. I wanted a place to relax and let the issues of the world fade away. That's exactly what I experienced at Skip-A-Way Landing. The house is not only beautiful but it has a warm and welcoming feel to it. Like coming home after a long time away. Overall the house is lovely however the subtle touches throughout are also much appreciated. It's the small details that let you know that the owners put a lot of thought into it and care about its' guests. I did not want to leave. I'm already looking forward to going back. Highly recommended!

What an amazing place! The photos did not do it justice. We had beautiful weather and the back patio/deck was the perfect hangout. We went kayaking, caught a lot of crabs, and enjoyed being by the water. We had the firepit going while one of us was grilling food and the vibes were perfect. The detached game room saw plenty of heated pool games with a great selection of music and sound system. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. Dawn provided very detailed instructions so that you know all that you need to do. All-in-all, great spot that is a perfect group getaway!

Great for a group/family weekend getaway. Erin and Aryn are very hospitable hosts and provided all the essentials. Everything in the kitchen and all the light switches are clearly labeled, making it easy to navigate.

This was our family's second stay at The River House. We had another relaxing and fun week! Kayaking across to the state park is one of our favorite things to do there. We also enjoy shopping and eating in Leonardtown. We had one rainy day, but reading on the day bed with a beautiful view (in spite of the weather) and working on a puzzle were an enjoyable way to spend the day. We hiked out to Calvert Cliffs State Park one day and enjoyed lunch on Solomons Island on the way back. John's pet friendly Airbnb is such an awesome place to vacation with our dogs. One of them loves to fetch her floating stick off the little beach area and play frisbee in the yard (bring a long leash that you can tie to the badminton net poles). Our other dog loves basking in the sun in the yard and on the deck. There are so many great things about this place, but the sunsets alone are worth the stay!

We loved Kathy's place! It's a very short walk to the beach, the playground, and all the shops and restaurants including the Pink Poodle for ice cream, which our daughter really enjoyed. Kathy's communication was great before and during our stay, and her house was very easy to find and access because of her clear directions. We also really appreciated the fact that there were pack n plays and plenty of kids toys, colored chalk, etc. to keep the little ones occupied. The only thing missing was a bathtub for the kiddos, but we made do with a plastic tote from the general store. Aside from that, 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend Kathy's place for any other families with young children. Thanks!
