the home was great! comfy beds, hot tub was wonderful- a sky of stars was able to be seen from the tub. kitchen has the essentials for a meal at your temporary home. good location between sagatuk and south haven. would stay again

Sarah’s beautifully built A-frame home was the perfect base camp for our weekend away to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. Getting to downtown Three Oaks was a breeze and a public beach was a mile-ish down the road. We would love to come back for another visit!

The cabin is a beautiful property that easily hosted 8 adult men on a golf outing. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and the basement media room was a huge hit with the group to watch sports, play foosball, and have mortal combat tournaments. There is a selection of fantastic golf courses all within a 30 minute drive, and Grand Rapids is only 30 minutes away as well for dinners, and going out. I'd highly recommend this cabin for a golf outing, and I would gladly book again if I was going to be in the area.

Host was very responsive and had great recommendations! This was our first time in MI and didn’t know what to expect about the Saugatuck/Oval Beach area but the location of this place was awesome—all the sites/downtown Saugatuck/Oval Beach less than 12 minutes away! Home was cozy—kitchen well-stocked and beds very comfortable. Would recommend bringing your own water or water pitcher with filter—we weren’t used to MI water—not the best tasting. And would bring your own coffee-maker—if they replace current one in the kitchen, great! Keurig part of coffee-maker was broken and we alerted the host—carafe worked fine but pretty slow to brew. Would stay here again!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

Me and my now husband stayed here with both our families during our wedding weekend and really enjoyed our stayed. The house is extremely spacious yet has intentional furniture for gathering with large groups. The host provided several yards games which we had fun playing while also utilizing the other outdoor amenities like the grill and hot tub. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Perfect little cabin for a family of 4 and a dog! Loved the lake and fishing.

One of my favorite AirBnb visits ever. Country cabin feel with modern conveniences and lux hotel touches, like the decor, toiletries provided, nicely rolled and displayed towels and blankets. We loved having the property to ourselves for solitude and privacy. We loved every attention to detail. Very clean. Peaceful. My favorite things: The beautiful cedar interior; the new kitchen sponge; the room darkening shades; the fun assortment of games; the candy, snacks and ketchup, mustard, and mayo provided; the chain lock on the front door that gave me added peace of mind; the yard games; the swing outside; the fully stocked and prepped fire pit; the walking trail through the forest (it loops around so whichever side you start on brings you back to the yard); the outlets next to the beds; 2 bathrooms; and the second light in the bathroom was nice and bright enough to apply my makeup. Only suggestion would be to provide a bucket or shovel to help put out the fire. Five stars plus!

Amazing, peaceful, and relaxing. We spent my sister’s bachelorette weekend at the Buffalo house and it couldn’t be a better location for our Parent Trap themed weekend. The walk to the beach was short and easy. And the beach was amazing. We went to nearby New Buffalo for shops and food and it was wonderful. Couldn’t recommend this home and location enough!

Cabin decor is spot on. We arrived and once entering knew we picked the right place. Was our central location for some rockhounding. Cooked all meals from cabin and used the fireplace on the night it was cold and rainy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had such an amazing stay on Jim's property. The lake, easy to get to in a short walk, was very serene with a ton of activities to do. We pedal- and paddle-boarded and also used the aqua-cycle! We also sat around the firepit and saw a ton of shooting stars. The bikes were also great, and it wasn't a far drive from South Haven where we went to the farmer's market and would have gone to the beach if it were warmer. Although there were two RVs with people also on the front of the property, it still felt pretty private and everyone kept to themselves. The most interaction with other people was walking on the boardwalk to the lake and hanging out on the dock. Such a fun weekend!

I had a fantastic weekend here - the neighborhood was quiet, absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful. Loved that the beach was a quick walk away. House was exactly as pictured, and Phil was very responsive & helpful. I look forward to coming back!

Peaceful log cabin in the heart of south haven. Irene and Mark were always very prompt at responding. They have a beautiful log cabin that felt remote and perfect for pups to walk off leash. We felt completely disconnected and this bnb was a peaceful slice of heaven. If you’re looking for a glamping spot with your fur babies this is perfect. Recommend downloading a few campy audio theatres ( no cell reception or wifi which was ideal for us). There are some really fun restaurants 10 mins into town so definitely recommend checking those out as well. We had a great time and hope to be back soon!

The yellow door cottage is an absolute gem! It has clearly been lovingly put together and with numerous small details in mind. The ability to walk down to a quiet beach free of crowds within minutes was the highlight of our trip. Having beach chairs and towels so you don't have to bring your own was the perfect touch. We loved enjoying the local wildlife just from the living room, out on the patio, or while walking to and from the beach. The stairs down to the beach are a workout but worth every step! The cottage was cozy, inviting, and the perfect little getaway for a quick family trip. It's location is nearby to so many local spots in New Buffalo, Lakeside, Union Pier or Three Oaks. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Wonderful place! Outstanding deck which almost doubled as a second home outside! Endless amenities inside and around the resort to entertain a couple or large family for a weekend getaway! Nicely decorated and plenty of beds—especially in the loft for the younger kids! Near the red arrow highway so easy to navigate around nearby towns as well. Awesome hosts that were very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

This place completely exceeded our expectations!! So many thoughtful details and just an overall beautiful place to stay. Perfect spot to get away to and be able to relax the whole time. Will for sure be returning next year for another stay!

What a wonderful find this adorable little cabin was!!! Although tiny it has everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. Having the kayaks to use was wonderful and the steps and decks leading to the beautiful lake are just perfect.

The cabin/cottage was the sweetest retreat. Nestled in a wooded area, it was a peaceful, relaxing place to begin and end our days in Michigan. We enjoyed the amazing view behind the cottage, watched deer, turkey and critters walk through as we enjoyed our morning coffee. The HOA beach was peaceful and accessible. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the lookout point. The space itself was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Our host was interactive, responsive and helpful. We'd love to come back again. Great location within easy reach of wineries, restaurants, the Art Coast and beautiful parks and beaches.
