Monthly Rentals in Colfax

My time with Susan was exactly what I needed. After leaving a stressful job that took a toll on my mental health, I needed to get away from the city. Being at the farm with my dog in tow was exactly what my soul needed. Thank you to Susan for the wonderful hospitality!

This is an awesome place! i travel with my mom (she's 82) gk visit family as much as we can, so we look for great airbnbs so we can cook for ourselves and enjoy low-key hang-time. This absolutely fit the bill. It's adorable with a little bridge to the wraparound deck. The kitchen has all things needful, and like I said, I cook all our meals (restaurants aren't as healthy). And a great coffee maker - super important. It's just got all the right stuff, in exact proportion to the space. Just perfect! It's only a couple minutes from hwy 80, but it's so quiet up in the trees. Loved our stay!!! 😊

A splendid getaway in the woods with beautiful garden, cute goats, and cozy vibes. Jerre is a wonderful host that makes you feel at home. The two dogs and a cat always come by to say hello asking for pets. Hummingbird House is a serene hideaway for those that want to get away from the city and into nature. It was an experience we would absolutely do again. 😌

We absolutely loved our stay! House was clean, comfortable bed and couch, had all utensils you need, toaster oven worked great, had an air fry setting and bake setting too. Pinball machine was lots of fun! The views from your own private balcony were gorgeous! They had some great rental options for water toys. The walk to the lake was not far, but the hill to get to and from is pretty steep! It would be hard to carry your own paddle boards or big ice chest. But there are options to get your large item stuff around. I suggest asking the host for details prior to packing. The post did say grill, but there is no grill, I’m sure they will be fixing but, plan food accordingly. All in all, such a GORGEOUS property. Very friendly and responsive, and we can’t wait to go back!
