House holiday rentals in Cold Spring

Rick's House (Hemlock House) was a wonderful getaway! We unfortunately didnt hit the best weather but the house was perfect for a cool and rainy long weekend both indoors and out. The open first floor with huge kitchen was great for hanging out and cooking with alot of cozy nooks to read and relax. There was a lot of various outdoor spaces and decks to lounge on as well and the hot tub was perfect for the cooler cloudy weather. The bedrooms were all comfy and each room having its own bathroom was another plus. We all loved the sounds of the creek and being able to walk around the trails in the back. The House is in a fantastic location - only 10 minutes from Rhinebeck which has everything you need and is great for walking around, shopping and dining. Rick was informative and provided a great guidebook with clear instructions and local resources and recommendations. Thanks for a lovely stay!

I spent my birthday at this beautiful house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless and full of natural light, with lovely views that made the stay even more special. The atmosphere was peaceful and clean, and the house had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. I truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Little Owl Teahouse. It’s a cozy and well-outfitted cabin with a super comfy bed and a great leather reading chair. Drank lots of the delicious mountain well water. Made breakfast in kitchen — love the pans and electric cooktop. Short drive to Woodstock for dinner. And oh the beauty of the surroundings - scenic views everywhere. Our two little doggies were happy to romp in the fenced in yard. Little too chilly when we were there but pool looks so appealing. Lisa is a proactive and super responsive host.

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

We had a great stay at Nathan’s place. The playroom was great for our kids and we all enjoyed the pool. The view was also beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Obsessed with this Airbnb! My husband, dog and I typically go to upstate NY or the Berkshires for long weekends but I came across this Airbnb as I had an event in westchester over the long weekend. Highly recommend! So much hiking, wonderful restaurants and so close to the city. My dog loved this property as well! Will be back.

We had a great stay at Tiffany’s place! Everything was exactly as described and she was great at communicating throughout the stay.

This is the second time we took our family here. Everything is as great as we remembered. The kids enjoyed swimming, jacuzzing, rowing the boat and playing ping pong and billiards when it is raining. Great three-day weekend well spent. The lake view is fantastic and it is 1.5 hours from Manhattan or 2 hours from Brooklyn. The rate did get more expensive comparing to two years ago but I can tell the location is still very popular from June on. I guess May is a nice shoulder season and the host allowed us to do early check in and late check out. Maybe it is more affordable to combine two families or a group of friends.

Ann’s place was just perfect for our weekend trip to the area. Super responsive host, unbeatable location steps to Main Street and all the amenities you’d need in a house. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We were there for a USMA graduation, and the location / accommodations worked great. Handy having a decent grocery store two blocks away. The walking loop down to the Foundry and Cold Springs Park is delightful. Nice with our house guests (extended family and friends) to be able to spread out in the place. Kitchen was spacious and awesome for family meals. Pool wasn't open yet, but looked inviting to add to the outside BBQ area.

Beautiful property in the best location in Catskills region. Whoever did interior design deserves an award. Definitely recommend and would come back again myself!

After using Airbnb for years now no other place was a perfect 10. The lake house was simply great. Not only the physical status but the follow up and generosity of the hosts where beyond. We didn’t want to leave.

Rosemary and Ed were warm hosts. They had great advice on where to join hiking trails surrounding their property. The space is welcoming, clean and as described. Rosemary kindly offered us some fresh veg from their garden! Would 100% recommend.

Beautiful home, designed and decorated with such thoughtfulness. Cheryl&Jamie were very generous, providing us with farm fresh eggs, snacks and carrots for the animals. The house was fully equipped with games, kitchen supplies, towels etc. Drivable to many towns. We are already planning for our next trip here.

Just as described, André’s place is a lovely well furnished cottage with an especially comfortable bed in a very private, quiet setting. We hope it will be available the next time we are in the area.

The pictures don't don't capture how beautiful the lake views and access are, both outside and inside the house. The glass walls really bring the outdoors inside and are great at sunset. (The home does has the retro thing going on, but I was happy to find it not overwhelming in that respect.) The density of trees, which I really appreciated, and the situation of the house make it very private and comfortable. They were great hosts, very kind and responsive. I met one of the hosts at check-in and felt welcomed and given all the info I needed. Their home has a good vibe and it was easy to just relax here. Very happy to recommend this listing.

Ellen’s place was beautiful and cozy. The kitchen worked perfectly and even though it was April it was still a bit chilly so the wood stove was a welcome amenity. The shower was great and there was a soaking tub. It was quiet and beautiful. We like all the art and it was very homey.

A beautiful, comfortable house right on the Hudson with stunning views. We loved watching all the life on the river, herons and loons and ducks, as well as boats from tiny crafts to massive barges. There are great hikes just a short distance away. It is a perfect place to rest, write, draw, and make music.

It was a lovely location and the place was very convenient to the town and walking and it was a very comfortable for myself and our family to spend some time together. We even had a picnic on the lawn at the picnic table.

We stayed at Bengisu's place for 4 nights during our Hudson River getaway and would highly recommend it. The basement apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the fenced back yard was very quiet and private. Bengisu was very responsive whenever I had questions, and we especially appreciated that she let us check in early. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire with them one evening. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to Main Street, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Just a short drive away is the Culinary Institute of America; West Point Military Academy; Bannerman Island; breweries and wineries; and historic sites. If we are ever in Beacon again, we would not hesitate to stay at Bengisu's place.

This was hands-down, my favorite. Air B&B ever! We hope to return and spend more time on our next visit. We were literally immersed in and surrounded by nature and it was so beautiful and peaceful. It also felt like home the minute we stepped in… like going to a friend’s “country weekend” place where the books, puzzles, games, records, artwork, handcrafted pottery, electric blankets, dog beds and more (!) just make you feel at ease and in comfort. This place is so loved and it shares that love with its visitors. Thank you to the owners for sharing such a special place!

Celia's place was absolutely lovely. It is difficult to capture how picturesque the cottage and setting really is from photos. Whether you are sitting inside at dining table or outside on the terrace, the view of the meandering creek is such a stress reliever. The cottage is super clean, has comfortable beds and is very well stocked for cooking at home. Communication with Celia is clear and responsive. If I am ever back in the Hudson Valley again I would definitely book with Celia again.
