Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. I highly recommend this AirBnb and my family I, look forward to the next opportunity to visit. Many thanks to our amazing host Alina.

We stayed for one week. We loved how peaceful it was and the pool was much needed. The monkeys are the highlight - they come and go without any bother. Could watch them all day.

Camille and her mom are wonderful hosts. The house was like a beautiful dream. It smelled so good every time I entered. The pool was always clean. I saw many animals. We didn't want to leave, but we would definitely come back again with my family to stay longer. The nature, the animals, the birds—I was truly happy there. I recommend that future guests be aware that if the directions don't lead you past Flamingo Beach, you might be on the wrong path. It's better to take the longer route to be sure.

Michael provided us with a beautiful home away from home for our first family vacation in Costa Rica. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults had multiple areas throughout the house to relax and reset. The house was beautiful and the views were fantastic! The gated community made us feel safe and the staff helped us with whatever we needed. This home was apart of us making lifelong memories we will cherish. Thank you to Michael for being honest, responsive, courteous, and a wonderful host. We will certainly recommend this home to all our friends and family!

The rental unit was exactly as we expected from the listing. In particular, a covered area on the roof deck was perfect for watching the sunset. A few comments from other guests had given me the impression that it might be necessary to drive to get to local shops or restaurants. Although we had a car, we found that almost nothing in town was more than a 10-15 minute walk away. (That said, a car was best for a trip to the grocery store.) Jennifer and Brian were both very helpful and responsive, not only in addressing a couple minor questions about the rental, but also in giving some advice about the area. All in all, a very nice stay!

The villa was amazing. Exactly as shown and described. Had a wonderful time, really enjoyed the villa . The view was amazing. Pastora and her husband were kind and very responsive to anything we needed. The area was fantastic. Plenty of options for adventures. Great restaurants . Locals were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

Thsnk you so much for hosting our group of 11. it was a wonderful vacation with the most amazing views. The layout of the house is perfect and communication with Edgar was perfect. The only comments is that we would have loved the windows clean. We will definitely recommend this beautiful relaxing vacation spot.. and be back!

Me encantó Casa Aura!! Todo lo que se necesita para disfrutar de una viaje a la playa estaban. Cercanía al mar, pero aún así una ubicación muy segura, privada y tranquila. La piscina tenía la temperatura perfecta y todos sus jardines hacen la estadía muy fresca y agradable!

A nice property off the beaten path. It is a few miles out of Tamarindo with decent roads to get to the house. Beautiful nature surrounding the house. Carolina is very responsive and made our stay easy.

What a gem. To see that view when you walk in the door is amazing. It’s a beautiful house with everything you may need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the pool is exactly like the pictures with warm water and bar stools to gaze out over that stunning view. The AC & fans do a great job of keeping you cool as a retreat from outside. We also loved the use of the beach chairs, towels and beach toys for the whole family. Our 3 small children loved it! We will be back!

What an incredible place. It’s a few minutes outside Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo and worth the drive. The place has insane views and is so unique. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. 11/10.

This place was very nice. The location was very close to the beach - walkable - and to downtown Coco. The pool was also refreshing after a day at the beach! The property seems well managed and taken care of - making for a comfortable and stress free stay.

Yerry fue un excelente anfitrión, siempre muy anuente a responder todas mis dudas y además, una persona muy amable y accesible. El lugar estuvo perfecto: limpio, cómodo y con todo lo necesario para una estadía sin preocupaciones. Theresa and Darren were amazing hosts! our flight arrived at 6 am and we were at the house by 12. Theresa said that because they didn't have anyone checking out we could check in early which was amazing. we had a little difficulty finding the house but that was our fault and when I messaged Theresa she answer right away with a pin allowing us to find the house instantly! Throughout the stay Theresa and Darren were very thoughtful, responsive, proactive and helpful! Anything we needed they either offered for us to barrow theirs, told us where to buy it or bought one themselves for the house. Lastly, when our other Airbnb cancelled on us last minute they agreed without any hesitation to have us stay one more night. the location was fantastic, the beach was a 5 minute walk as described as well as downtown. The pool was a great bonus as well as the AC. Would definitely recommend and will without a doubt be going back! thank you for everything!

Olga’s place was amazing! Closer to town than we thought. The space and pool were perfect. There were three of us, but you could easily accommodate three couples. Olga checked in on us and made sure we had all of the amenities we needed. Would stay here again!

Cocomarindo was a great place to stay. The unit was exactly as shown in the pics, impeccably clean and walkable distance to town and the beach. Dann has ensured everything you could possibly need for day trips is provided- beach towels, chairs, cooler, snorkels and insulated cups. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, toaster, blender, microwave, air fryer and a ton of spices as well as dish towels, soap and paper towels. Dann provided all the info to get from the airport and into the unit in advance so arrival was quick and easy. He also provided great recommendations for local day trips and restaurants. The property has amazing landscaping and a great pool, there's also ample parking if you're renting a car, laundry facilities and a generously stocked library. We had an amazing stay at Cocomarindo and I highly recommend it!

The best AirBnB ever! I was sad to leave this incredible home away from home. It has everything you need. Usually, rentals lack the right utensils, enough plates, etc… NOT THIS PLACE! This had everything and all the nice extras. I highly recommend this home for an incredible vacation experience. We were able to enjoy all that Playa Grande has to offer plus some other wonderful excursions that were short drives away. AMAZING! Ready to come back.

Me encantó la casa conteiner! Fuimos a descansar con mi pareja y dos perritas y estuvo increíble. Amé demasiado la piscina y el deck. Y me fascinaron muchos detalles de la casa como azulejos de cocina, baño, puertas corredizas. Hermoso lugar tranquilo para disfrutar y/o descansar. Me quedé con ganas de quedarme más días así que seguramente volveremos!

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

This place was absolutely flawless. The beauty of the views, the pools, the shuttles were perfect! We cannot say enough kind words about his service and the home. His communication is amazing. He even gave us a wonderful recommendation for snorkeling and we had a blast.

A 5 minute walk to the beach. 15 minute walk to the main road BUT you can uber from the airbnb to the main road/restaurants for literally only $3.95 each ride. Its a little difficult for people to find exactly (ubers and taxis) but its manageable for sure. AC was POWERFUL and we did not go a single night hot. Backyard was very spacious. Everything was clean. A lot of extra amenities like sunscreen, lotion, books, even Uno cards to play with. It felt very secure because it was gated both in the front and in the back. There was no door on the bathroom but my husband and I personally did not mind that. Water pressure is decent in the shower but nothing to complain about; every other faucet had strong water pressure. Quiet street and the most you’ll hear are the dogs at night. The airbnb was literally down the street from a couple of restaurants and a couple blocks away from a traditional Soda. Good overall experience, i would book a second time. Thank you!

Perfect hours for our vacation. This is just one example of what makes Costa Rica amazing!

The property is in a great location within 10 minutes of walking to a very beautiful and non-tourist beach and to many quaint restaurants/cafes. The house is relatively new with plenty of modern amenities, kitchen is fully loaded, rooms with AC and in-suite bathrooms. There is ample secure parking and outdoor chairs for relaxing. Shawna is a very helpful and responsive host. Four of us stayed comfortably for 4 nights.

Casa Prana was absolute paradise. We just got back from an amazing trip to Costa Rica, and this house made the entire experience next-level. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—luxury at every turn. The beds and linens were unbelievably comfortable, the outdoor space and pool area were to die for, and the coffee setup was unreal—perfect for those early mornings before surfing or fishing. The house had everything we needed and more. It felt like every detail was carefully thought out, making it the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy every second. If you’re headed to Costa Rica and want to do it right, Casa Prana is it!
