The house was absolutely perfect — clean, cozy, and full of charm. The environment was peaceful and felt like a true retreat from the world. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, making the stay smooth and enjoyable. I honestly felt like a hobbit in his garden — surrounded by greenery, calm, and character. A truly magical and relaxing experience. Highly recommended!

I received such a kind and warm welcome from Emmanuel, it had been a challenging day getting to Arques and I think it showed on my face Emmanuel gave me a beer shortly after I arrived, I don't think he realises how much this meant at that time. He then suggested some fantastic local restaurants for the evening, if I'm ever passing again I would have no hesitation in staying. Thanks very much!
