Holiday rentals with breakfast in Civitella in Val di Chiana

The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We missed our train stop, and they quickly arranged for us to be picked up at the next station. The fridge was stocked with essentials, as well as bread, pastries, and snacks. They even took us to the grocery store as we did not have a car. When we had concerns about the comfort of the mattresses in the second bedroom (as one of us has a bad back) they promptly went out and purchased 2 brand new mattresses!! Unbelievable customer service!! The villa was spotless and everything was in proper working order. The hosts were very responsive, quickly answering any questions. The setting is postcard perfect! Beautiful views from every angle! Exactly what we were looking for in a Tuscan getaway. Quiet, peaceful and serene - what more can you ask for?

Lorenzo was an exceptional host. Very attentive, thoughtful, and full of great local recommendations. He checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. If I could rate this place 15/10, I would! We had a rental car, and the location couldn’t have been better, just a 10-minute drive to everything, with convenient parking right in front of the house. Plus, the garden was absolutely stunning

Sonia was extremely helpful from start to beginning. Gave us great recommendations which ended up being some of our favourite nights! The most stunning location and beautifully kept place, with everything you could possibly need to live in. 30 mins from Florence, 1 hour from Siena and miles of beautiful scenery and wineries as far as the eye can see As a british couple in our 20’s we loved our stay here ❤️

Norma was an absolute treasure, and her home and family were lovely. The property sits overlooking a lovely castle and a beautiful church with great views on the other side. The property has a great pool with plenty of privacy or interaction with the family, I only wish I spoke more Italian to be able to sit and chat with her lovely in-laws! Norma offered great recommendations for day trips, and overall the local area was great to explore. My only advice would be the usual: rent a smaller car to make life easier! Sitting on the patio overlooking the castle, with a glass of wine, is a memory we will never forget, and is highly recommended. Whether during the day or after the sun has gone down and the fireflies comes out (weather permitting) it's a Tuscan treat you won't want to miss. We truly felt like a part of the family and would love to return to her home the next time we come back. Truly a wonderful experience!

Good hospitality, kindness and availability, useful directions, always timely responses, spacious and quiet apartment, close to the historic center within walking distance and close to restaurants and clubs

We loved staying at Anna’s apartment and she went over and above on helping us. She picked us up at the bus station and drove us up to her place, then she explained where things were as we drove through the village. When we got to the apartment she explained how things worked and where things were in the apartment. There was a little language barrier as she doesn’t know a lot of English and we don’t know a lot of Italian but we were able to figure things out with her and she was very gracious and patient with us. The apartment is right in the heart of the village with plenty of stores, restaurants and wine tasting rooms near by. On the day that we were scheduled to leave we had a problem getting a taxi to get us back to the train station, even though we booked it the day before and we messaged Anna and she got right on it and got it done for us. She is a God send. We will definitely stay here again if we ever get the opportunity to come back to Montepulciano.

Beautiful place in the heart of everything you need to get to!

Clara was responsive and helpful. She was there to meet us and help us with parking and walked us through the entire house. She was wonderful. The space was perfect with a wonderful patio. Totally would recommend.

I had a happy time in a house that looked like it was in a movie in a beautiful natural environment. I think I'll keep my time in Kian Tti as a good memory thanks to the kind and friendly host who responds so quickly. It was a little difficult at first for the city girls who were new to the road to the accommodation, but it wasn't difficult when they got used to it. It's perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. I left today, but I want to go again.

Words do not do Francesco and Cecilia’s villa justice. We have stayed at many places, but this one is tops! Beautiful villa and surroundings. Great breakfast supplies (which we did not expect). Tremendous space, privacy,and beautiful landscape! We slept late most days because the loudest sound was the bumblebees in the stunning jasmine outside and the birds. We like to cook and the kitchen was fantastic. Everything was fantastic, including our very wonderful hosts!!! We will go back!! Great experience!!

Filippo's place is definitely one of the best Airbnb's to know the Toscana. Filippo, in the first place, was very flexible with the check-in hour, allowing us to make the check-in around 6 pm after we visited San Gimigniano and Certaldo. Filippo's apartment is strategically located if you want to visit San Gimignano/Certaldo/Siena (25 minutes away by car). And the rest of the beautiful towns of Tuscany as Montepulciano/Montalcino/Val D'Orcia/etc...are only 1 hour away by car. The surroundings of Poggibonsi are beautiful, and the town is really relaxed and full of excellent options to eat (eating information provided by Filippo). To resume, this place is outstanding and has everything you need to have a wonderful time under Tuscany's sun and landscapes. The apartment has a dishwasher, a clothes washing machine, and it's really big. If you want to visit Tuscany, this is definitely your place. Thank you, Filippo, for being a wonderful host.

We stayed here for three nights. The location is great for visiting the historic center of Arezzo on foot and the area is really very quiet. Being the historic center, you have to park outside because of the ZTL (active at certain times and days) but in 5/10 minutes on foot there are parking areas. Great starting point also for visiting the surroundings, Val di Chiana and Val Tiberina.

The style, the cleanliness, the scent of my grandma's home. Really a caress after a day on a motorbike. Super breakfast with homemade tarts. Lots of availability from the owners but with the right confidentiality. I'll be back

We were guests for two nights, at two different times a few days apart, during a couple's bike trip along the Eroica. The location is excellent, we have always and only reached the farmhouse by bike. In the evening, you can only hear the sounds of nature, which is truly regenerating. The 360° panorama is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The pool is fantastic, very clean, equipped with deck chairs and surrounded by a well-kept lawn. Everything here is authentic. It's wonderful to see how carefully and simply Serena and her family manage the place, respecting and enhancing the nature that surrounds them. It was a real pleasure to stay here, an oasis of peace that gave us moments of true relaxation. The pool, in particular, was a panacea after the intense days on the bike. Thanks for everything, Serena! We'll definitely be back!

Matteo (and his family) were extremely gracious hosts. They are in a beautiful location and a perfect “base camp” to explore the region - from wineries, Florence, Sienna, Lucca and more. His cooking class was also amazing and highly recommended.

Teresa, Agustino, and Danieli were great. The home was gorgeous. The breakfasts were fantastic. The winery tour with Danieli was beyond memorable. If you get the opportunity to stay at this property, take it! We highly recommend.

I have to say, this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Patrizia’s house is quiet, cozy, and charming, far beyond my expectations. Guests stay in a private villa with a large grassy area, perfect for our dog to run and play. Every morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast for us, using fresh ingredients straight from their garden. So natural and so tasty! We stayed for four nights, but it still didn’t feel like enough. The whole place felt like home, the lovely scent, the comfortable bed, the garden, the animals, and the short walk to Cortona town… The house can be a bit difficult to find on the map, but don’t worry, Patrizia will kindly meet you at the parking area. What truly touched me was that she even remembered my dog’s name and called him when they first met. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who truly loves nature, peace, and a warm, authentic experience.

Our stay was amazing! The place is super unique and the property was beautiful! Loved waking up to the rooster, getting a visit from the resident cat and dog and visiting horse. The sunrise from the tree house is spectacular. Hearing the birds in the morning and simply being surrounded by nature was so peaceful and re-energizng. Also loved the delicious pastries in the morning. my only suggestion is to have a a couple hooks or somewhere to hang some cloths. Elena was a good host..and we can't wait to go back.

Candida's house is adorable, full of art and history, much more than a simple experience of a common accommodation. The bedroom where we stayed had a nice decoration, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped. We had a good time on the terrace, surrounded by a beautiful garden, a small paradise to enjoy. The breakfasts were delicious!!! Prepared with a lot of dedication. The best thing about the accommodation was meeting Cándida, thank you for a very special stay.
