Overall, it was all good. Disadvantage: Located on the 3rd floor, the stairs are narrow and uncomfortable. The parking lot is far away and there is an airbiz in the area. Because other vehicles are parked, I can't use free parking and have to pay a separate parking fee. It's so annoying that it's happening.

The house is clean and tidy, and it feels like you are back home when you enter the house. It is especially cozy ~ The location of the house is also very convenient. There is a bus stop outside the alley, and you can walk to attractions such as Kumamoto City and shopping places.In addition, the host was very gentle, prepared delicious snacks for us, and thoughtfully wrote a note in Chinese. The local restaurant he recommended was also delicious.We have very good memories of Kumamoto.

Helpful and friendly host with all the supplies and a feeling of great value for money

Makiko was very kind and her home was beautiful. She was very friendly and if there was anything we needed she would reply right away. This was a 10/10 home and stay. This was a huge highlight of our trip to Japan, especially Kumamoto. If we ever come back to Kumamoto (which we more than likely will) we would definitely be coming back here. There’s no other host like Makiko who is kind, sharing and lovable. There were snacks in case we got hungry and also ice cream. She did many kind gestures and like I said, she deserves WAY MORE than 5 stars. Everything about this home was great and you could really tell Makiko cares about her guests! By far this is my favorite AirBNB I’ve ever stayed at. This was great! Thank you so much Makiko and I hope to see you again soon!
