Beautiful views and surroundings. Great back deck to enjoy the area. House was well set up and kitchen had everything we needed, and appreciated the coffee! Rebecca was super helpful and responsive….we had a great getaway!

I dropped my son off at Radford University for a summer program. We stayed here and it was perfect. The location was convenient and the kitchen, living room, and bedroom were beautifully decorated and well appointed. My son especially loved the gas faux wood burning stove that added to the coziness of his pullout bed. We would stay here again!

Our stay was truly exceptional. The property was immaculate, very comfortable, and exactly as described. We greatly appreciated the attention to detail and the peaceful atmosphere. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to others!!

Plain on the outside and pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Very spacious, nicely decorated, very clean, very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Nice fire-pit area and front patio. The surroundings are very peaceful and it’s close to the interstate. Thank David and Amy for hosting us. We will definitely stay there again if we are in this area.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Emily's lovely and bright airbnb. It was the perfect place to kick-off our 2-week road trip. Emily kindly allowed us to check in an hour early. This allowed us to eat an early dinner before heading out to see the Roanoke star on a day when storms were forecast for the evening. Luckily, we avoided any storms. Seeing the star was lots of fun! On the way back to the airbnb, we stopped off for some fro-yo at Sweet Frog, conveniently located just 5 minutes from Emily's place. Then our family enjoyed playing some ping-pong before calling it a night. Everything was so clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The backyard is filled with birdsong, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. We felt very at home here, and we'd definitely return here if in the area again.

this was a fun weekend trip we take every year to see our friends who live locally. We usually stay at hotels in Blacksburg or Christiansburg. This was cheaper than a hotel, we drove less and it was in a quaint little town. It was immaculately clean and had all we needed for a two night stay.

Joe's Place was a great place to spend the weekend in Blacksburg. Joe was very responsive, example-we got there a bit early and Joe generously let us in. Electronic keypad on door made coming and going very easy. It was well appointed, with enough kitchen items, clean linens and towels. Furniture and beds were comfortable. It was not cluttered but decorated in fun VT Hokie football items-a true fan would enjoy. Definitely a great place for a guys sports weekend, especially being on that side of town with a short drive to the stadiums. Thank you Joe!

The appartment is right in the center of Roanoke with everything right on your door step. It's spacious, comfortable and well presented and equipped. I cooked in a lot, made easy by a well equipped kitchen. There's a lovely recliner to relax in, not to mention the bed was super comfortable. All in all it was a definitely a 5 star rental.

Wonderful place to stay! Easy walk to downtown & parks. James is an excellent host.

Our stay at this Airbnb was great. Its amenities met or exceeded expectations. It was quiet even though it was a weekend. It’s greatest feature is location. You can park your vehicle & experience most of what Floyd offers by walking directly from this apartment. We stayed for two nights & took in the Dogtown Roadhouse, the Floyd Country Store, the “farmer’s market”, & the evening street scene. We hiked to the Red Rooster Coffee Shop Sat AM – it gets busy! We only stayed two nights & took in the Fri evening flat-footing dance with music by The Leftover Biscuits, Saturday American afternoon music over lunch, & the featured performer that evening – Chris Jones & The Nightdrivers (very affordable for this caliber of talent). If I’d done my homework, we would’ve shown up Thu & taken in the summer series concert at the amphitheater, & stayed through Mon so as to take in the Bluegrass Jam at the Store & then the open mic at Dogtown Sunday eve.

Jamie was very responsive and kind!! Enjoyed my stay here, struggled with bug bites from some of the bedding but the stay was really nice overall and was spacious and clean.

This was truly one of the most charming historic homes I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home. The space was beautifully maintained, full of character, and had all the little touches that made it feel welcoming and cozy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The hosts were wonderful—so friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. As a lifelong Andy Griffith fan, staying here in Mount Airy (aka Mayberry!) made my heart so happy. It was the perfect home base for visiting all the landmarks and soaking in the nostalgia. Highly recommend this gem—thank you for a memorable and heartwarming stay!

We enjoyed staying here. The interior of the loft apartment was clean, well decorated, stocked with whatever you’ll need, and the included laundry room was a major plus. The location is in close proximity to a major grocery store, and downtown Floyd is walkable where there’s a lot of fun things to do and see. We ran into a few small issues while staying, and the owner was quick to communicate and resolve them. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! Kathleen thought about all the little things and we didn’t want for anything. The views were fantastic on the deck, we sat out there often. The living quarters were beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time.

One of my daughters and I stayed at Matt's listing to just get away and be together. It was a wonderful stay! A very easy walk to a private and lovely beach area. Easy access to 2 great pools, a hot tub, sauna and even racquetball court. Our time inside Matt's space was equally as relaxing. Simple and comfortable decorations, all things desired were easy to find. Even had a dishwasher - that was a treat! It was great to have the top floor as the view was fabulous. Top floor did mean taking a few stairs, but that was not at all a big deal. We hope that Matt was satisfied with our stay, because we would LOVE to return (and other daughters are hoping they get to go :)!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Mary Anne was incredibly responsive and helpful at all times. The place and surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful long weekend here, enjoying all the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. We rented a boat, played mini-golf, walked along the lake, and ate great food. This condo is the perfect location to relax and play.

We’ve stayed here several years in a row. Place is always spotless and welcoming. We love the corner unit. Very convenient for boat docking.

The view from the condo was stunning and beautiful, just like John’s photos online. The detailed directions and descriptions were very accurate. John welcomed us during check-in and thanked us when we left. It would be nice to have screens on the sliding glass door. Definitely would consider staying there in the future!

Perfect place for any Radford events. Nice layout with three bedrooms, each with a bath. Quiet considering you are surrounded by college kids and decor was tasteful and comfortable. Well worth it.
