Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chittenden County

This was our third time at Doug’s house and we have already booked a fourth visit. It’s perfect for a small group and our two dogs. Close to Burlington and great restaurants. His home is quiet and peaceful and super clean with a beautiful yard.

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home and would love to come back! It was spacious and had everything we needed for six adults and one baby. The scenery was stunning, and Maggie was very helpful and responsive. Amazing shower in the downstairs bathroom too!

Sherry's place was amazing! Great views! This is our second visit here and have booked a third later in the summer. Sherry is a wonderful host and we appreciate her opening up this beautiful lake cottage for us.

We stayed here for UVM graduation weekend. The location is perfect being so close to the airport and campus and the EXPO center. The rooms and spacious and comfortable allowing family to eat together, play card games, and watch TV. We wished it had stayed dry so we could have used the outside fire pit.

One of the BEST AirBnB stays we have ever had! The house and grounds are perfect for a VT getaway. It was the ideal home base for our adventures to Ben & Jerry's, Stowe, Woodstock, Middlebury, Burlington, and Hanover, NH. Jericho Market is only a few minutes away and has all the groceries you need (I seriously love the grocery store). Our favorite Maple Syrup experience was with the wonderful folks at Palmer Lane Maple in Jericho. Bob was wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend this house enough! Internet, hot water, space, privacy, kitchen tools, etc. were all perfect. We had an excellent time and would go back in a heartbeat. All four of us truly felt right at home.

5 STARS! Very cozy property filled with wonderful amenities. Large spacious bedrooms and great outdoor space and seating area. Beautiful views of Lake Champlain from many spaces in the house. We had a such a wonderful stay, so much so we booked it again for another few days! Tamara was an excellent host. Would love to visit again :)

Scott's place is very quite and peaceful, ideal for couple looking for a romance getaway. We have everything we need in his place. Temperature dropped the weekend that we were there, so Scott was nice enough to prep the indoor fireplace for us and it was amazing! The kitchen was nice and he had left a few items for us in the fridge. Overall a really good stay, definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Kailee's Airbnb. Upon entering, I was so happy to see such a clean, cozy place. I love all the little touches, from the flowers to the artwork to the furnishings. We felt so comfortable,and right at home. We were very busy, so we only got to spend time sleeping there. I appreciated the comfy bed,and bed sheets. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I would have loved sitting on the deck, and walking the beautiful grounds . I also wish we got to meet you all. We will be back! Thank you, Kailee!

Great place to stay for skiing Sugarbush or Mad River Glen, convenient to restaurants and shops. Very quiet setting, just be prepared for a little bit of non-paved road to climb to access it. The apartment felt more spacious and open than I expected, and accommodated 3 adults quite comfortably. Wax bench was a nice bonus for us skiers!

I really enjoyed the quiet, private porch. A Cup of coffee, while watching the birds and hearing the river nearby was quite relaxing. Great location for viewing the stars at night & long slow strolls on the country dirt road.

Every little detail about this quaint apartment suited us perfectly! We were in a beautiful space that fit my family of 4 very comfortably! After a 6 1/2 hour drive without stopping for food we were beyond excited and thankful to be greeted with a homemade loaf of sourdough bread and a basket full of treats! The space is perfectly appointed and pristine! We were just minutes away from our daughter whom we were visiting at UVM, and minutes from the lake, river and pond for my husband and son fishing enthusiasts! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Our stay at Mark and Robin's was fantastic -- check-in was very easy, the place itself was spotless and spacious, and Robin was extremely friendly throughout the stay, offering great recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The stay in Burlington was phenomenal and Robin & Mark were very accommodating.

This place is incredible!! First time in Vermont, and Chad and his family were so kind and welcoming. The place was a perfect size (would work comfortably for a solo traveler or couple) and had great amenities, including a large shower with a tall shower head (iykyk). The setting is absolutely pristine- a perfect retreat for rest and rejuvenation. Great location with easy drives to Burlington and all the little towns in the Champlain Valley, as well as Stowe and Montpelier. And, just to emphasize, the hospitality was second to none. Definitely will be returning to the area and would book here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great holiday weekend in Charlotte at Robert's apartment. It was close to the mountains we wanted to climb and a nature preserve where we skied. Close to Burlington and Middlebury where we found dinner each night. The apartment is cozy and comfortable; really a delightful place. We also met Robert who was funny and the perfect host. We stayed during a massive winter storm that dumped so much snow on the area and Robert was always very interested in making sure we could get out of the driveway! There were also thoughtful snacks and what not for us when we arrived which is such a nice bonus. We will definitely check to see if the apartment is available the next time we come to VT. Thank you so much, Robert! We hope to stay with you again soon.

Lovely comfortable cabin for our family of six. Short drive to smugglers notch where there is great hiking and bouldering!

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

Absolutely gorgeous lake access. We enjoyed the community and local businesses. Mostly we took advantage of the lake activities

Exactly as described, very clean. Check in process super easy. The area is within driving distance of Burlington and even Stowe. The place was absolutely beautiful, bed was incredibly comfortable. Perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring Vermont on our weekend away. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at the Waldhaus. It’s so quiet and serene, and we loved the view from the huge picture windows in the living room. Our kids felt right at home with the bunk beds and puzzles/activities. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. We hope to return soon!

Lovely house and the host was amazing. She was very nice, replied quick, and very helpful. Beautiful house with great views and very secluded. Everything was spotless and it included anything you would need. Very cozy. Great experience 100% coming back.
