Beachfront holiday rentals in Chincoteague

Took my adult siblings and parents to Taryn’s property & everyone has already asked “can we go back next year?” The seclusion, water views, and acreage to explore was incredible. We were excited to take our dogs who loved running through the marsh out to the beach. Yes, there’s a lot of flies and ticks due to the marshy area, but we brought plenty of bug spray and checked the dogs each evening for ticks. Definitely recommend catching a sunset on the beach. No frills, no fuss..lots of fun & no-phone-service family bonding time.

We had a great week! The house is on the bay and has a beautiful view from many rooms. The screened-in porches are awesome. The house is clean and as described. The kitchen is clean and well-furnished. I started every day with a cup of tea in a rocker (provided) at the end of the dock. I was unsure if my 4 boys in their 20's would be happy and they were. It was a time to enjoy each other. We went swimming, used the paddle boards, rode the bikes and played games at night. You are about 30 mins from Berlin a fun little town and 40 mins to West Ocean City(we went their 2x for dinner). Claire is so nice and very responsive. Between her and Mike we were well taken care of. They work at a Marina 5mins. down the road. We ordered crabs, clams and corn. They cook it, will deliver it and helped us out with how many to get. The house has the utensils needed. It was a lot a fun and highly recommend giving it a go. The home is warm and exudes love of family.

Very comfortable, great location, quick response time from host

We rented A Little Slice of Cambridge because of the Iron Man competition held that weekend. It was convenient to the venue...and allowed to walk to the competition and nearby restaurants. Pamela was a wonderful host...communicating easily. The rental was well stocked with toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and extras. The house was comfy and the beds comfortable. An enjoyable stay...unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for more sightseeing...although I did walk down to the Lighthouse and beautiful wharf.

We loved our short stay at the Little Gray House. The view alone was worth the stay. The beaches are both easy walks and the area is lovely. Everything was clean and cozy and Bronwyn and Kat gave lots of information ahead of time, including some great recommendations. Would definitely recommend checking out The Hatchery and the Gwynn’s Island Museum on the island and spending some time exploring Mathews. We will be staying here again and hopefully soon!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage on a private beach! The peaceful setting and direct access to the water made for a truly relaxing getaway. We especially loved the Adirondack chairs and firepit overlooking the Chesapeake Bay—perfect for amazing views and cozy evenings. The master bedroom and living spaces offered beautiful water views that made every moment feel serene and special. The owner was incredibly accommodating with check-in and shared thoughtful, personal tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the bay!

Lisa was very responsive to all my texts as I had several personal hiccups trying to get on my trip. Her cottage is absolutely adorable and I am eager to come for a second visit. The cottage is very comfortable with a variety of indoor and outdoor space to gather in. In addition, it is in a great location with the beach just across the street. The neighborhood was peaceful and a sweet beach community. The fenced in yard was a gem as I was traveling with a dog.

We had so much at Anne and Neil’s place. It was more beautiful in person than in the photos. The furniture and antiques were so beautifully appointed. We had lots of fun as a family enjoying their pool, searching for shark teeth and shells on their beach, and getting on the water in their boats. Lots of fun. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

Identical to pictures! Beautiful rental in convenient location. The beach and boardwalk were easily walkable and having Fish Tales next door was convenient! My only suggestion would be is to bring an eye mask if you are a light sleeper, there are no shades on kitchen windows so it’s very bright in the early morning since it’s all connected. It helped us to get up and moving in the morning so we didn’t mind. Morgan was quick to reply to messages and a very gracious owner! We will definitely be back.

Joe and Kristi were so nice, the condo was beautiful! The view of the beach was amazing, you can see the beach from the deck and even from inside through the glass, if you’re having a couple hours of relaxing time between activities, the view and sound of the beach makes it still fun to be inside on vacation. Great space to sleep. It was an amazing place to stay for vacation.

Raphaelle is a great host and our stay was amazing. With great views and an accommodating place, would certainly return!

We had a wonderful stay at Chris and Loreees place! Super responsive when needed and clear instructions for check in and out. Private, quite, clean building and condo and we had everything we needed. The views were stunning & exactly as pictured. Walking distance to many stores, restaurants, and 7-11 next door for convenience. I would recommend staying here!

Condo was exactly as described! Amazing oceanfront view! I was also impressed with how much room there was. It was cruiser week so it was a tad bit noisy at night, but other than that and the fact we couldn’t stay longer, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay!

Jason was absolutely amazing! The view of the ocean from the room was spectacular! The room was very homey and I look forward to staying again in the future! Bonus was watching the dolphins from the balcony every morning 10/10 experience!!

Effortless beach week. So grateful NOT to have to deal with toxic air-fresheners, dirty dishes, light pollution, poorly chosen furniture, buying supplies, funny smells, crappy blinds, clutter... This condo is superior to many other AirBNB we have rented. Absolutely NOTHING was worrisome. Plumbing in tip-top shape, gorgeous bedding. Kitchen very well stocked (we actually cook most of our meals.) Detergent provided and plentiful. Not a speck of dirt or grime anywhere. This level of excellence is rare. The view is tremendous, and beach access is easy. Parking, elevator, luggage carts - all easy. The price is quite high, but we decided it's worth the attention to detail that is given to this property. We already booked for next year, and hopefully by then the building renovations will be complete. Highly recommend this quiet, spacious, extremely private unit at Marigot. Thanks Elysian.

We had a great time at Seth’s place. The location was perfect, quiet but still plenty to do. Easy beach access and clear directions for everything. Watched dolphins from the balcony and loved hearing the waves.

Came down for a duck hunting trip! The place was perfect! Very clean and cozy! Hope the owner was very attentive and quick to respond with any questions! If in the area again I will definitely book again!

The cottage is amazing! It is located in such a nice/quiet area. Beautiful views of the water and marina. The house has all the amenities you could want, right down to bug spray! It felt like we were right at home. The inside was decorated so cute, and you could tell the owners put a lot of thought into how to make it a great place for visitors. I only wish we had more time to spend there!

Kenneth was an exceptional host for the following reasons -provided great recommendations for food, adventure on & off the property, & everything in between -approachable when we had questions and/or curiosity -clear & prompt communication -such a cozy, welcoming restored smokehouse (smelled like cedar, oak, & pine in there..LOVED it) -very well kept & clean, his & her robes were perfect for the shower & towels, washcloths, & linens were ready & waiting - fully stocked with treats, coffees & teas -gorgeous property w/ amazing dock for casting a few & enjoying unreal sunsets - super peaceful & serene My husband & I had our mini moon here & it was a continuation of our dreamy marriage to each other. this was our second time visiting after 2 years it looked fresh and clean and beautiful as our first stay the house is beautifully appointed with furnishings and all the comforts of home right down to drink shaker and hand mixer needed for me to make goodies to take to my families home nearby they also filled fridge with all sorts of goodies like eggs butter bagels juice pancake mix and strawberries just all sorts of things it really made us feel just like home can’t wait to go back again next year

This is a perfect spot for a girls weekend to just be. The surroundings are gorgeous and the home is fantastic. It is a quiet neighborhood for those who enjoy early morning walks. Every room of the home feels airy and comfortable. I would return for sure.

This waterfront home has gorgeous views. The location is very private and peaceful. Our family really enjoyed fishing from the dock, playing yard games (we brought our own), and just relaxing. Our two-night stay was the perfect amount of time for us to recharge. I would rent the house again.

Kassandra was very responsive and communicated well. The house is beautiful with the best view. Very nice with small children as far as being able to go back and forth from the beach. My husband also enjoyed some fishing. Everything is well stocked, and what stood out most is the shed with sand toys, beach chairs, and more that are accessible so we didn’t need to pack our own. Also the amount of beach towels and regular bath towels available were great. We will definitely be staying here again.
