Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cherokee Reservoir

Graylin & Melissa are awesome hosts!!! I texted Melissa a number of times before and during our stay and she alway got back to me in a timely manner. She couldn’t have been more helpful. If we come back to Gatlinburg, we will definitely be staying with them again. The place was absolutely perfect!!!

Booked last minute and got instructions within minutes and was there and in the hottub in less than 30 minutes. Was just what we were looking for to have a peaceful place to relax after daytime adventures in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Was a great location about half way between each.

Beautiful location. Spacious cabin with many things to do including pool table, TV, relaxing on the deck in the hot tub and having coffee in the rocking chairs. It was just a short drive to the attractions in Pigeon Forge. We loved it.

Our stay at *The Good Life* cabin in Pigeon Forge was truly delightful. The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered plenty of space to relax. Every detail contributed to an atmosphere of comfort, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Nestled in a peaceful setting, the cabin provided the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. It was close enough to town for easy access to attractions, dining, and shopping, yet far enough away to feel private and tranquil. Whether enjoying the quiet outdoors or the warmth and charm of the interior, we felt completely at ease throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a spot that combines comfort, charm, and a serene location, *The Good Life* is an excellent choice. We would absolutely return for another visit!

Absolutely stunning! It’s well kept and the view is breathtaking, black bears show up regularly (don’t worry they’re friendly). There’s a game room and toddler stuff as well. 8 people can sleep comfortably. FYI this is in the mountains so the road is not for rookies. 4x4 recommended.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Cute little cabin with some awesome scenery. Very clean and Alan was very responsive to any questions. The community pool/gym was a big hit with the kids and we enjoyed the view at the top of the mountain. This cabin is a wonderful central location. 20 minutes to the Greenbrier entrance of the park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Definitely would stay again. 10/10

Amazing!!! We loved every minute of our stay at bees knees! If you want to get away and have privacy-yet still be close enough to all that there is to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This is the place!!

Clean and easy to get to from Pigeon forge or from Gatlinburg. The neighborhood has a pool looked nice we didn't get to try it.

What a wonderful stay in a wonderful cabin! This cabin is awesome - great bed, great shower, great location, great hosts. The fireplace is awesome. It can be switched on for just the overall effect but you have the option of turning up the heat for warmth. I scheduled my stay for some much needed peace and quiet during a difficult time in my life. I arrived with the sniffles but it progressed into much more. I kept asking for extensions if time and Samuel & Angie were awesome. Thanks again to them. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and my stay.

The description and pictures paled in comparison to the cabin and atmosphere itself. They truly did a remarkable job with blending the rustic beauty of the cabin with modern conveniences. The farm is beautiful and was a pleasure to visit. The hosts were wonderful people who went out of their way with ways to make us feel at home. An added bonus was that our dog was not only permitted to join us on our trip but welcomed by them. I can't say enough about what a pleasant experience we had. We plan to return for another visit.

We would 1000% stay again! We barely left the home because the views and the comforts were perfect for a vacation. They have every amenity you could ever ask for. There were appliances in the kitchen that we never used but we were impressed by alll of the options. The beds are comfortable and it’s easy to feel at home. As for the driveway- it is quite steep and looks intimidating but people that have experience driving on mountain roads will be totally fine! I made it with my Honda Accord. Book your stay, you won’t regret it!

A nice place to stay for the week, private property, neat on the inside

Really enjoyed the place. It was very nice and warming. The host was very very nice and love to come and stay at this place again and I would recommend this place to anyone that just needs a quick getaway or a break.

This was a great cabin to getaway for a few days. It’s a nice little place to stay, especially for just 4 nights. We’ve stayed in Bear Cove Falls in other cabins with my family before and it was so easy to find this place. Definitely will have to come back to Shady Cove!

My family really enjoyed our stay at Charles’ cabin. It is easy to find, but also away from the business of the city. The space was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the porch! I appreciated small mindful touches like a safety bar mounted by the bathtub, and plenty of towels. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Loved this cabin. We saw bears at the cabin almost ever day. Even on the deck one day. We enjoyed the hot tub, the arcade game, the pool table, and having lunch out on the deck. One bedroom on the bottom floor and one on the top. It's much cooler on the bottom than the top so keep that in mind when picking rooms.

Shastina was a fantastic host! The cabin was incredibly well prepared and clean, with amazing mountain views. Our family loved how the cabin balanced being close to the attractions, centering itself in nature, and providing us with a peaceful environment to unwind after a busy day. Along with the cabin itself, Shastina always had a quick response time whenever we needed anything and helped us.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was exactly as described in the pictures. Our kids as well as us adults loved the game room! The hot tub was just what we needed to relax at the end of the day. 100% recommend!

Matt was super responsive and we loved the place! He provided snacks and some refreshments and it really did feel like home.
