Kippers Waterfront Hideaway

KaraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The Hideaway is a magical place. I used to boat in the area before moving away. With the beautiful and peaceful views of the salt marsh, it felt like coming home. We loved being able to take our dog swimming and retrieving from the sandbars at low tide to doing a whole lot of nothing on the deck. We also got some use of our paddleboard! The house is very well appointed without being stuffy at all. Everything you need and more. Overall a great trip!! We hope to be back!

The Pearl, Apt. #2

RobertRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very nice apartment with a wonderful balcony with comfy chairs overlooking the gorgeous bay, with sandy beach and rocky coast. The apartment was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Great kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are comfortable and extra blankets are in the closet. Plenty of storage for clothing. The upstairs bedroom area was up a ladder which precludes small children. It was okay for our 5 year old but not for the 3 year old. The town is lovely and the center of town just 4 or 5 minutes away on foot. Beach access is just a minute away. Mary was a wonderfiul host and helpful. This is one of the lovliest AirBNBs we've stayed in and highly recommended.

Beverly Farms Guest Suite

This was a very homey and comfortable place. It is an attic space but has been done very well. It was a bit warm (as a top floor) but the AC cooled it down quickly. I had many of the conveniences of home and ample space. I was quite comfortable in this Airbnb. The only small downside is you need to be able to carry your luggage up quite a few steps. Fine for me but for example, it would have been difficult for my mom.

The Cottage is a special place, right on Chebacco Lake, with lush gardens. The cottage itself, while one big room, is well-appointed with everything you could need.

Ipswich Waterfront Getaway

ShelbyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place was awesome. My only complaint was the weather - not much you can do about that! Was hoping we could swim and use the outdoor shower when we booked but it was 50s-60s so definitely more of a hot tea / watch the sunset/ watch Netflix situation which was awesome after a day of strawberry orchard and famous lobster rolls and ice cream. Bed and shower were awesome!!

Friendship Acres Barn Apartment B

Couldn’t recommend Jayne’s place more. It was so cozy and secluded, with two beautiful horses constantly grazing right outside our windows/screened in porch. The farm was beautifully kept, with flowers everywhere, a fire pit, and chickens. The inside was big, bright, sleek, and clean. It was just me and my husband but there was plenty of room for two more guests. The kitchen had everything you need and we used the screened in porch every chance we could. It’s a quick walk to the water where all the restaurants are. We enjoyed walking to Googan’s in the morning for coffee and a breakfast burrito. We spent a day at Crane beach nearby, an absolutely gorgeous spot. We also drive nearby to Gloucester and our favorite, Rockport. Jayne was quick to answer if I had any questions and made some great local recs for our stay. This was such a peaceful getaway, you get country coziness, salty marshlands, and the oceans/beach right near by. Definitely book!
