We had a great stay at the cottage, perfectly suited for our family. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and ideally located about fifteen minutes' drive from La Rochelle, making it a perfect starting point for discovering the region and the island of Ré. Special mention for the pool, which the children loved! But above all, a big thank you to the hosts for their warm welcome, their availability and their great kindness. We would definitely recommend this listing!

We spent 2 very pleasant days at Nathalie's place. The hosts we were sharing the cottage with were friendly: it made us feel comfortable in our first experience of shared accommodation.

Natalie was very available from the beginning, when I booked the room I asked a lot of specific questions to know which space was shared with who and what the room looked like. She responded in detail within an hour. Then, on the first day on site, she lent us bikes which allowed us to move around the island without any worries. We were in high season and there were no bikes to rent in the area on the first day, so it was a much appreciated service, especially since the house is in a place a little far from the city center, so big bike rental shops. The common room is very nice, spacious and comfortable, well suited for all hosts. Everything was very clean, the toiletries were there and without fail. Really nothing to complain about, if I were to stay in the island of Oléron again, I would not hesitate to come back!

An unforgettable stay ( we will come back) a wild and peaceful setting as if we were the house. Clear simple community rules adapted to everyone ( very important for sharing the premises ) There is no shopping mall nearby so don't come to go shopping! (Board games provided on-site ) Some nearby internet activities will help you. I hope the host was happy with our presence as well as it's very important that it works in the 2 senses😊😘. Looking forward to coming back so not all book at the same time

Functional house with everything available , quiet area and good location. Lots of activities nearby , possibility to do everything on foot , great restaurants nearby as well. Highly responsive host when we needed it. Everything was well explained and clear for our arrival on the premises. We had a wonderful stay in the Moulin de Chatressac. We were coming back for the second time and were charmed again by this little corner of heaven. Everything was perfect: the hosting, the accommodation, the pool and above all the magnificent views of the harbor!

What a pleasant surprise, better than the photos and comments. Nothing is missing, even your 1st meal is in the refrigerator! You feel really good at the Grange aux livres, there are many nice details that you will discover over the days... Sophie is very welcoming, human and caring. One of our most beautiful Airbnb experiences, a little heartache when leaving this beautiful and peaceful place. Do not hesitate if you are looking for calm, countryside and birdsong.

We really enjoyed our stay at Danielle's place, the accommodation is nice, very well decorated and the outside is a real plus.

The house is very nice and matches the photos. The bedding is comfortable, the environment was quiet and ideal for the different walks on the island.

Emilie's place was a perfect place for us when we visited Rochefort. The location was perfect and the decor was super cute! We really liked the back deck!

Wow what a place. Beautiful gite, spacious grounds for the kids to run and play and an amazing pool area. The most peaceful holiday in a great location for relaxing. Very safe for the kids with plenty for them to do. The most welcoming and lovely hosts, our kids loved feeding the fish and interacting with them. A must visit.

Corina's house is a bright little cocoon with warm and very comfortable decor. Everything is well thought out, which is all the more pleasant with a baby. This house has been refurbished with great amenities and exactly matches the photos. The location is ideal because you can do all the basic shopping on foot and the atmosphere of the village of the gates is very nice. To be recommended without moderation!

We were 2 couples of bikers who stayed in this listing in early October. We enjoyed the secure underground parking. The renovated cottage is ideally located, clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Our host Céline is the best, very welcoming, available and flexible for check-in and checkout times. We recommend it!

Very pleasant stay in a charming house located in a quiet area, behind the main house of Sébastien and Samuelle which allows you to enjoy great tranquility while benefiting from help and advice when needed. The heated pool and large grounds are very nice for children. Lots of games available; ping pong table, games, buoys,… The accommodation is well equipped with all the essentials for cooking and the benefits of a dishwasher, washing machine and even dryer. The rooms are comfortable, especially the master bedroom with the queen size bed. Clean bathroom with large enough shower. Comfortable accommodation with welcoming hosts which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay with our two daughters and our dog. Thanks again for hosting us. Nathalie and Julien.

Small house very well arranged and furnished. Peaceful environment and close to the beaches. And it's hard to get closer to the Whale lighthouse!

Very good accommodation, very clean and Gerald gave a lot of information in advance and was always available. Easy check-in and check-out. Fenced area for children and dogs, great! The area is very quiet, there is very little to do. But if you like peace and quiet, it's the perfect place

Wonderful accommodation in a period house completely renovated. Very nice spaces with beautiful layout. Very well equipped. Ideal large family or several couples. Idyllic location with impressive panoramic views of the ocean and Cordouan Lighthouse. All amenities are reached by foot, several beaches nearby. Responsive and very kind host. A place to stay that I highly recommend, where I will be most happy to come back with my family
