Mr. Mathura is flexible, but he doesn't stay there. His place is managed by house keeping staff, well kept. Pannchachuli and other peaks are there right infront of you. highly recommend for a couple of days. Workketion can't be done as no Wify. ( But 4G works). Food choices are limited, good home made food, but very expensive. No market place to go arround. An Advice: Only experienced riders/drivers can drive on such terrain to reach the property. Once you are inside the property, you will love it. I booked for 3 days, but coyld only stay for 2 days, my bad.

We were a group of 5 people staying at the Whistling Woods for 2 nights. The stay was very comfortable, and the personal touch of care and hospitality by Vipin uncle was a cherry on the top! He is very hardworking. The location is beautifully tucked in between a lush green forest area - extremely peaceful. The air is so clean and pure, and you can see many different species of birds. Vipin uncle and his wife also cook very tasty food at a minimal cost, and serve it with loads of love!

The team was warm, attentive, and ensured we were well cared for throughout our stay. The highlight was the delicious, home-cooked organic meals, each crafted with fresh ingredients and genuine love for hospitality. At Nitin’s suggestion, we engaged a local trekking guide Manish, which added a wonderful sense of adventure and deeper connection to the area. This homestay truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and tranquility. We left with beautiful memories and are already looking forward to returning!
