Monthly Rentals in Chale

Very enjoyable. David and Simone were very welcoming and had gone out of their way to make us feel at home. The accommodation is very well equipped. everything worked well and there was a lot of useful Island information as well as things to do. The baby goats are a real bonus!

We stayed at 'The Mission' for a family holiday to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday and it was just perfect! The house itself is beautifully decorated and so well considered, with lots of thoughtful touches. It is just a wonderful space to spend time in. Our daughters absolutely loved all of the books and games, along with the sunken bath too! The house is well located to explore the island, close to Compton Bay and Ventnor beach, as well as attractions such as the Isle of Wight Steam railway. The Wight Mouse Inn is a less than 5 minute walk and worth visiting for food, and there is a coastal path close to the house for rambles to view the beautiful scenery. Harriet was so helpful throughout, helping with ferry bookings and happy to answer any questions that we had. We loved our stay and definitely would like to visit again!

The scout hall was a great place to stay for our family of 5 + in-laws. Our twins enjoyed the bunk beds and everyone else was comfortable. Comfortable beds and house in general. Walkable to the nearby Wight Mouse Inn and also coastal path. The hall did have a slightly small kitchen and living space but was as described, so no surprise. We enjoyed our stay and also watching pheasants, rabbits and even a badger.

we've stayed on the island a few times - we love it. Carly's place was superb. We travel on motorbikes so space is always a premium. Having milk, tea, coffee etc was extremely handy. a well equipped kitchen and the tea towels, sponge etc a perfect addition. The setting is beautiful and I enjoyed say hello to the chickens every morning. The location we found was perfect - everything was 20 minutes away from. where we were staying and to sum up we loved it and would stay again.
