Holiday rentals with lake access in Central Louisiana

Beautiful home and location! It was the perfect setting for our family gathering. We plan to come back and explore the trails and beach during the summer months.

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great kitchen and well stocked. The grill was a hit allowing us to grill burgers/sausage for family. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels just to name a few items to make our stay perfect. The coffee bar and waffle set up was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Our weekend at A Frame of Mind in Toledo Bend was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. The A-frame was spotless, beautifully decorated, and smelled wonderful. Jade was such a kind and thoughtful host—she reached out with helpful info, including fishing guides and fun spots for the kids. We loved the screened-in porch with its cozy swing and big TV. The backyard was magical—grilling steaks, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the sweet s’mores kit Jade left for us. The cornhole setup under the lights was so much fun, and the mural behind it made for beautiful family photos. We fished for crappie and sun perch right off the back. One of my favorite moments was kayaking through the still water under pecan and pine trees into Toledo Bend—spotting squirrels, bluebirds, woodpeckers, turtles, and even a raccoon across the waterway. Peaceful, quiet, and full of wonder. We can’t wait to return ❤️

Everything we wanted and wished for! We are a family of 6 including 2 teenage sons and we had more than enough space. The house was clea and all the amenities were great. Our teenage sons had their own TV to hook up their Playstation games when the weather wasn't one for outside activities. The front porch was spacious with a great view of the lake with included a barbecue pit and grill for steak night. The coveted dock eas our favorite place! plenty of room for all six of the to fish and the swing gliders were so comfortable. whether we wanted sun or shade, the fishing was amazing right from the deck and so was the swimming. There were several stores within a few minutes range where we were able to purchase food and bait and the people in the surrounding area are so friendly. There was plenty of privacy so we felt as if we were right at home. As far as Mrs.Pattie and Mr. Mike. they were there for us before our checking, during and after. Mrs. Pattie was only a text away and answed

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Beautiful & Relaxing Stay in Natchitoches! We had the most enjoyable stay at this charming home in Natchitoches! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The house is full of character on the outside and absolutely stunning inside — bright, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern, cozy touches. The kitchen was a dream — spacious, fully equipped, and perfect for gathering around the island. Our host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, always quick to respond and full of great local recommendations. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making this space special. Some of our favorite moments were spent kayaking on the river nearby and unwinding in the hot tub in the evenings. The back porch is so peaceful and beautifully set up — it felt like our own private retreat. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this

We had a big family get together and we just enjoyed fishing and kayaking and our dog super loved the lake

The property location was great. Loved having a lakefront view and the ability to launch the boat from the private boat ramp. Grocery shopping and restaurants were just a short drive away. The home was very comfortable and clean. We will book this property again.

Laura was very pleasant and responded quickly to all of my questions. She went to check out the rental before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Enjoyed communicating with her.

Great private location, and beautiful Cove. Cottage was clean, cute and comfortable! The decor is nostalgic and takes you back to enjoy good feelings of days gone by. The dock is wobbly, but being repaired after storm damage! good for fishing right at the waters edge. Nice neighbors and surroundings. Recommend this if you’re looking for private, peaceful, relaxing location, and great access to fishing. John is a great host! Very friendly, Communicating promptly and very helpful with all of our needs.

This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

We are incredibly grateful for the graciousness and generosity shown to our family during our stay. Unfortunately, my wife came down with a stomach bug on the day of our checkout, which delayed our ability to leave on time. The hosts were unbelievably kind—not only did they avoid rushing us, but they also allowed us to stay an extra night at a deeply discounted rate so my wife could rest and recover. Throughout our entire stay, they were responsive, understanding, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to come across such thoughtful and compassionate hosts. Thank you for making a difficult situation so much easier for our family. We will always remember your kindness.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Marsha greeted us with a warm welcome. She gave us a tour of the property and was very helpful. My son is still talking about her muffins she made for us on our arrival! I will definitely be back and thanks for a wonderful experience!

Perfect place for a weekend trip. Home was very clean and well stocked. Large deck was great for enjoying False River! Host was very accommodating and communicative.

It was absolutely the BEST! We've never stayed at an Air BnB but I'm so glad this was our first. Everyone else has a high standard to meet. This was easy to find, exactly has described/pictured. The views were beautiful, it was peaceful. I was on a work trip that we turned into a family trip with our fur babies and even though we didn't use it they even had a dog bowl & blanket. I was thoroughly impressed with all the things they provided from everything you need in the kitchen to bug spray and games/toys for kids. This place was AMAZING and I'm hoping to return. We were in Louisiana for the Angola Prison Rodeo & made a long weekend out of it. Rich’s place was beautiful, comfortable & relaxing. All of the amenities are provided & made us feel right at home. The bunk room was great for the kids & the spacious rooms provided plenty of room for all of our belongings. We really enjoyed the two-story boat dock. It even had lights and fans! It was a great place to stay!
