Perfect rental if you looking for somewhere to stay for a larger group! Family friendly, spacious, and helpful host. The private lake access is literally right outside the back door. The marina swimming pool is directly next door and the fishing pier is huge and super close, too! You cannot beat this location if you’re looking to have the best of both worlds: privacy and marina amenities. Also- this place has a HUGE HVAC system so you will enjoy cooling down in comfort inside after a hot day on the lake!

Debbie’s place was absolutely scenic! From the fabulous home decor to the amazing pool. This was one of the most picture perfect places I’ve stayed at. Debbie was amazing at communicating and accommodating us. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a get away.

Denise was proactive in her communication leading up to the trip. We arrived to a wonderfully appointed house full of snacks provided by the hosts. Very well appointed and a beautiful yard and pool. Highly recommend and will stay there again for future visits to the area.

The whole experience was great! spacious, modern and clean house. The view is one of the most unique i ve seen in my life.

Regretfully we had to cut our trip short but already looking forward to booking again in the future.

We had a big family get together and we just enjoyed fishing and kayaking and our dog super loved the lake

Daniel was great, my husband arrived from out of state pretty late and needed a place to stay, all hotels were booked and we found Daniel’s home and booked it, everything was great and my husband was able to get a good rest

Staying at Sarah’s place couldn’t have been more perfect for why I came into town! While it’s a historic home, Sarah has done a great job at updating it inside and outside… I enjoyed the large amount of counter space in the kitchen for both work and eating purposes. The living room was cozy especially after a long day of working and I slept like a rock in the dark cozy queen bed! I underestimated the proximity to the historic Front St. area! It made for a memorable stroll on a perfect weather day to truly enjoy the shops, the river front, and the historic homes along the way. I definitely recommend staying at Sarah’s no matter the reason you are traveling! The neighbors are also extremely friendly! I will probably stay there again on my next work trip to the area!

This Airbnb is an absolute dream. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home; warm, welcoming, and perfectly peaceful. The house is immaculate! Super clean and beautifully decorated, with every little detail thoughtfully prepared to make your stay unforgettable. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and we all slept like babies. The screened-in porch is our favorite hangout spot! The view of the lake is breathtaking, and it was the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning or wind down in the evening watching the gorgeous sunsets. The amenities truly are above and beyond. A golf cart made getting around a breeze, and having access to a boat, grill, and fryer meant we never needed to leave! Whether you’re looking to fish, relax, cook out, or just sit and soak in the peaceful surroundings, this place has it all. And the host? Absolutely exceptional. They go above and beyond in every possible way from communication to thoughtful touches that made the whole experience extra special

What a treat it was to stay at the Dover House, which was my grandparents’ home! They built it in 1920 and raised their family there. I spent many times there during my childhood. I was amazed that some of the original furniture and appliances were still there. Everything Louise has added, including a second floor, two fireplaces, and a modern galley kitchen was lovely. Our stay was very comfortable and full of nostalgia for me. My family and I are grateful to Louise for restoring the house and making it so beautiful and welcoming. I’m glad that others are able to enjoy the house as well!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great kitchen and well stocked. The grill was a hit allowing us to grill burgers/sausage for family. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels just to name a few items to make our stay perfect. The coffee bar and waffle set up was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Thank you, Lori, for the work you put into renovating this place and opening it up for visitors. We were in town for a funeral held at the Tabernacle so we could not have been in a more convenient spot. Your place was clean and inviting. My sister and I grew up coming to Dry Creek to spend time with our grandparents. When we would drive in at night time and saw this place with its lights on, it would mean we were almost to our destination. Dry Creek and the people there have always held a special piece of our hearts. I walked into this home and teared up with the nostalgia of it all. Imagine what a fun surprise when I was reading the framed Lake Charles article and saw my grandmother - Kathleen King - quoted! We look forward to staying again!

Our weekend at A Frame of Mind in Toledo Bend was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. The A-frame was spotless, beautifully decorated, and smelled wonderful. Jade was such a kind and thoughtful host—she reached out with helpful info, including fishing guides and fun spots for the kids. We loved the screened-in porch with its cozy swing and big TV. The backyard was magical—grilling steaks, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the sweet s’mores kit Jade left for us. The cornhole setup under the lights was so much fun, and the mural behind it made for beautiful family photos. We fished for crappie and sun perch right off the back. One of my favorite moments was kayaking through the still water under pecan and pine trees into Toledo Bend—spotting squirrels, bluebirds, woodpeckers, turtles, and even a raccoon across the waterway. Peaceful, quiet, and full of wonder. We can’t wait to return ❤️

The house was absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for our weekend of travel ball. The beds were super comfortable the house was very clean, and the water was nice and hot! We would definitely stay here again if ever playing in the Pineville area!

We had a great stay at Heather’s place while in town for a graduation party. Neighborhood was quiet, the house was easy to find, and charming.

Everything we wanted and wished for! We are a family of 6 including 2 teenage sons and we had more than enough space. The house was clea and all the amenities were great. Our teenage sons had their own TV to hook up their Playstation games when the weather wasn't one for outside activities. The front porch was spacious with a great view of the lake with included a barbecue pit and grill for steak night. The coveted dock eas our favorite place! plenty of room for all six of the to fish and the swing gliders were so comfortable. whether we wanted sun or shade, the fishing was amazing right from the deck and so was the swimming. There were several stores within a few minutes range where we were able to purchase food and bait and the people in the surrounding area are so friendly. There was plenty of privacy so we felt as if we were right at home. As far as Mrs.Pattie and Mr. Mike. they were there for us before our checking, during and after. Mrs. Pattie was only a text away and answed

Perfect!!!! The house was amazing! As soon as we walked in there was a sign welcoming us and chocolates that were the best I’ve had. The home was very roomy and cozy. The beds were comfortable and huge. The bathrooms were very roomy with enough hot water to last 4 adults showering. The best part was the back porch, comfortable Witcher furniture under a patio with a fountain and an old oak tree. It was truly amazing and we cannot wait to come back to Louisiana to book here again. Marie was a great host, made sure we were taken care of and did not disappoint.

Place is HUGE! Very comfortable, plenty of room for us, and very quiet. Place had not been swept or vacuumed, bathroom sinks were not clean but no big deal, the microwave was dirty-it looked like Alfredo sauce all over. My kids did find some meds under one of the couches and a few other things under the bed. Definitely a very small town with not a lot to do but it was nice to have some peace and quiet after having softball tournaments all day. Debbie was very responsive and very accommodating, let us check in a bit early since we arrived earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend and consider staying here again!
